Please no. I'm all for contending teams moving prospects for a proven player (especially someone young and proven like Dontrelle), but that's like the entire upper tier of the Boston farm system gone in one shot for a pitcher who has shown fits of being inconsistent. Pedroia is already pegged as the 2B (or SS) of the future in Boston and Lester is the most hyped SP since Roger came up. It's too much after they bled the system for Beckett.
I'd like them to keep Loretta for a couple more years and have Lowrie take over as the SS in a couple seasons. I can live with a middle infield of Loretta and A-Gon for a couple more years. I figure Papelbon will be starting eventually with Hansen becoming the closer. Becket, Willis, Papelbon would be unreal.
