Red Sox are apparently interested in acquiring Brian Fuentes from the Rockies. They rocked him in the playoffs

Does Robert Plant have any other kids that you could off?

I'd like to hear your format before casting my vote You had a good run

and I don't know what's up with all the Led Zepplin they keep playing but I like it.

Heath Evans; The Little White Wrecking Ball

with the way the Pats have played thus far the most entertaining thing for me so far has been that Rambo commercial. I'll be one of 5 people going to see that at the theaters.

they don't have to part with Bucholz if Hughes isn't being offered up. As much as Yankees fans refuse to see it Lester is a solid pitching prospect and probably has a great upside. Lefties that throw in the mid 90s with a plus curve, and fairly good change-up don't go grow on trees. He has command issues at the moment but he's only 23 and coming back from the whole cancer thing. I actually thought of Andy Pettite when I first saw Lester pitch.

before even stepping into this thread I was thinking to myself "Wow, the Celts sure did go and pull a Patriots on the Knicks".
-
I'd be ok with them giving up Crisp, Lester, Masterson, and a PTBNL. I don't wanna see Pedroia, Ellsbury, Buchholz or Lowrie sent packing.
-
I would think it would cost Cano, Melky, and either Hughes or Kennedy.

rather than argue about it for like the third straight year somebody link me and Al's previous discussions on Jim Rice and the Hall of Fame.

they're making a game of it.

are we just talking football because I've stated many times that I'm not a complete believer in the Celts yet and during the MLB playoffs the Rockies had me scared before the WS actually happened.

Hey, you're all ready for Grossman to come back for a few years after today, so shut it. I'm on your side against the terrible Boston cheerleaders of this board, stupid. "OH GOODY IT'S RAPE TIME ALREADY! RUNNING UP THE SCORE! " Fuck yourselves. I demand that from now on whenever you make fun of Boston sports fans as a whole you say "with the exception of FS" or something to that extent so I'm not included.

now Belichik will rip into them and the Eagles won't do shit for the rest of the night.
-
just give Brady the night off

I'm pretty sure you can pencil Miguel Cabrera into the Angels line-up now with the past couple moves they made. I'm gonna take a guess and say they send Willits, Santana, Kendrik, and another player over to Florida.

just got done watching this. The girl I went with was all freaked out even more because it is nothing but Mist out right now (thus making it a bitch to drive). Good movie with an extremely fucked up ending. I'm a Thomas Jane mark though so almost anything he's in is gold to me.

how could you leave out George's Box?

Orlando was pretty impressive but they let Dwight Howard get away with murder constantly seeing as how the game was in Orlando. He should have fouled out early in the 4th if they had called it like it was a few times...there was a rookie official though or some shit. The dude let Howard mug Garnett after the fans got on him about a previous call. Arroyo had a real good game.

I've never been much of a Lowell guy, so re-signing him wasn't that high on my wish list for Boston this offseason. But I've been really wrong on him in the past, so I'll go with this. Even if he starts declining, the commitment is short enough that it won't cause any problems. With the exception of the inevitable Coco Crisp trade or an Eric Gagne replacement, Boston's offseason appears to be done. they're kicking the tires on Kerry Wood. I guess if you're gonna replace one power righty with a history of health problems for another then Kerry Wood is the way to go. Now I'll just wait for the inevidable Czech joke about how they shouldn't kick those tires too hard because they'll pop or something.

Antoine got shit on alot at the start of his career but that was his own fault for all the bitching and whining. Towards the end he took more responsability for things and to be honest he's one of those athletes that will never have to buy a drink around here again. In my eyes he's the NBA equivilant of Fred Lynn in this city.

Just staying in that game? Half of the AFC East is on IR so I think the Pats could win that one.
-
That reminds me of a conversation that took place on some sports outlet where they asked if the Pats would win or lose to a team comprised of the rest of the AFC East's best.
