    The Dolphins And The Draft

It would only realisticly be a one year thing with McNair if they can't draft Leinart. Vince Young reminds me of a young McNair and if Heimedinger (or however its spelled) had him in the Jets system then I'd be a little afraid. I don't think the Jets will cut Pennington this up-coming season either just because if they do then there's going to be a cap hit of around $9mill I believe. If the Jets keep playing like they did today then you might get your wish of Reggie Bush though.

you know nothing of football. Really, I'm not being mean just completely honest. You seriously have no clue about the sport at all unless you're making yourself into a star QB in some videogame.

still, you criticised me for answering a question about FA quarterbacks and then brought up a guy who's under contract with another team and has no chance of being a FA. I could see Steve McNair go to the Jets and re-up with his old o-coordinator. Jets have too many needs to go trading what they would need to trade in order to get Rivers. I shouldn't even bother responding to Choken One

Usually when someone asks for who are upcoming free agents, they want to know players that their team would want. Rivers is likely the biggest QB on the "market" this post-season. And yet Rivers WON'T BE A FREE AGENT Grossman is most likely a cap casualty. Kyle Orton was a good QB in college and will probably continue to progress real well. Best QBs available in the upcoming draft are 1.) Matt Leinart (duh) 2.) Paul Pinegar 3.) Charlie Whitehurst 4.) DJ Shockley Drew Staton and Omar Jacobs are elligible but who knows if they come out early. I know Vince Young, Marcus Vick, and Brady Quinn have all said they're staying for their senior years.

I believe Steve McNair's contract is up after this year. Rex Grossman and Kyle Boller will both probably end up getting cut.

Not if its two versions of you. Face it Kotz, you're a dancer not a fighter.

I think both versions of you would fall in the fetal position hoping not to be hit.

he can't pad his stats more if he hands it off to James.

The Colts defense still sucks regardless if they win this game. They're still the same old Colts, they just run more to keep their crappy defense off the field.

Bengals defense is very young and still inexperienced. I'd say they need a bit more time and coaching before you can really judge them. Colts don't have much of an excuse though. If Big Ben plays in the Monday night game then the Steelers have a good chance of beating them.

I don't like this officiating crew. They're one of the most flag happy crews in the league (and the one that fucked up that game a few years back giving a team an extra timeout) along with the one where the head official is the black guy with the mustache.

I don't think its a good trade for Texas if Florida isn't picking up any of Lowell's contract. We'll see if Lowell has a bounce back season, but as of right now I just don't feel picking up his whole contract while giving up one of your better prospects along with Hank Blalock to get Josh Beckett is worth it. Just my opinion though.

good drive by Cinci here. They needed to do two things here. 1.) Score (duh) 2.) Give their defense a break by running the ball more they were able to do both there.

Cinci got fucked on that call. DB was playing the ball

hurray! I get the Indi/Cinci game. I was worried they were going to give me Jets/Broncos or Buffalo/SD because they're divisional games.

I hate these "icing the kicker" time outs. If he's a good kicker then he'll make it regardless.

Maddux threw a nice pass on his last attempt. He hit the guy right in the numbers. You just have to ignore the fact that it was a Raven's player he threw it to.

Jim Haslett had a shitty bye week. His son broke his leg, his daughter broke her finger, and he had to have the family dog of 7 years put to sleep cause it was suffering with cancer.

I'd be ok with moving Texiera back to third base and letting Adrian Gonzales take over at first base. With Josh Beckett now having oblique problems along with the blisters it would concern me. He just seems like fragile goods at this point. Is Florida going to be paying any of Lowell's contract, and if so how much? That might make change my opinion a bit.
