Wakefield is headed to the DL with a bum shoulder. Still quite a ways off from the off season but I really hope they don't pick that option of his up and instead use some of the money coming off the books towards Ben Sheets or Sabathia

I wish I had the time to be a part of this...sounds fun but with my schedule I'd just hold things up. However I'll probably be picking the game up and will be open to just having a game here and there with anybody that's interested.

So yesterday I was driving down a busy main st and some black chick talking on a cell phone with her stereo far too loud decided to run a red light and take a left. I slammed my brakes but she still clipped me on my front passenger side. She then proceeded to try and run but I'm a damn good driver and I chased her down and got her to pull over within 5min. I then get out of my car and look to see the damages...light was popped out a bit but nothing major. I went up to her and started yelling and cursing to the point where she was almost in tears. She then asks me how much is it going to take to fix? I told her to let me go check everything over again...I just looked at it basically then walked back up and said "How much you got?" and she said nothing and she would have to go to the bank. I followed her to the bank and had her give me 100 bucks. After she left I popped the light back in (works fine and isn't damaged) and then went home. So basically I charged her a $100 stupidity fee. Could have turned out alot worse (nobody was injured) but hopefully she learned you don't blast ragae music and talk on a cell phone when you're already a stupid female driver. Edit: I don't think I made it clear but there wasn't even two dollars in damages done to my car

Depends on who they ultimately get to replace him. They are however afraid that he's just gonna quit on them and have to go on the DL for the final two months for a sudden oblique strain or some shit. If its Manny for just prospects then I say no deal but if in the end those prospects get swung off for a Jason Bay or Matt Holiday along with a bullpen arm then I'm all for it.

The Red Sox sent Justin Masterson down to convert him into a reliever for the rest of the year which should help bolster that shaky pen (featuring Regular Okajima instead of last year's Super Oki and the corpse of Mike Timlin) since he's just devoured righties this year (.170 BAA, .255 OBPA, 21/7 K/BB ratio). Masterson kinda has a Scott Shields vibe to him from what I've seen. I think he could become an excellent 8th inning guy
