I thought Falco had that locked up for sure.

It's getting the LOTR treatment and I don't mind that. The nom'd episodes were tremendous.

His match was set under NO DQ RULES. ECW Title match was contested under regular rules. People need to get over the ECW name, itself. It's just the name.

I have to say that I do like the new stage set-up.

I can live with Jamie and I'm very happy to see Heigl win here. I thought the Grey's girls were gonna cancel out.

I took the easy route with Dallas.

161 is basically the violence squad since Necro speaks for himself and Jacobs has made a name for brawls and bloodbaths. Jimmy has easily been the best character in all of wrestling the past two years. Also, the stables aren't linked together. Vulture/Resilience/NRC have their own thing going on. Sweeney's group is essentially Chris Hero with a couple flunkies. Age of the Fall is against Briscoes and ROH. Hangman 3 hasn't really established their purpose.
-
Not quite. Stable wars isn't a bad thing at all. Gabe is taking off from Dragon Gate and it has been quite a good succes over there.

Ohio is High School Football mecca and you can see that since the BATTLE OF OHIO is being playing like a high school game.

Chad scores again and goes into the pound.

Who the hell voted for UCLA? You don't get blown out by Utah and get votes.

HAHAHA...hmmm...heh

Marvin, I swear only you could make me want to see my local team lose.

Just when you thought ROH couldn't get any lower. It's called a work. Just the same as anyone from your precious WWE does. Austin had a neck injury, the heels would target the injury. ROH doing an worked beat down on a legit injury isn't low. That's traditional wrestling. If you want examples of low, look at the many shining examples rampant in WWE, TNA and other promotions. ROH is culpable but lowness doesn't translate with a worked injury attack.

Here are the dvd only results ~INTERMISSION~ 7) Mitch Franklin defeats Alex Payne. 8) Amazing Kong & Daizee Haze defeat Sara Del Rey & Lacey when Daizee pins Lacey. 9) BJ Whitmer & Brent Albright mauled The YRR of Chasyn Rance & Kenny King. YRR got squashed. ~The stable of Adam Pearce, Brent Albright, & BJ Whitmer is the "Hangman 3". Some in the crowd chanted "No More Stables!" 10) Tyler Black vs Jack Evans went to a no contest when the Age of the Fall interfered via Necro throwing a chair at Jack. The match was then made a 6 man with Irish Airborne being added. The match again ended in a no contest when Necro Butcher knocked out the referee. Wild ass brawl. 11) Delirious defeats Matt Sydal in a good (not great) match to end the show in a little over 20 minutes. Fans chanted "Thank you Sydal".

That's just the PPV taping, they still have the DVD only matches to follow. Which seems silly to me to have the big PPV matches first then leave a bunch of stuff to close the show that won't compare. Jacobs, Black and Necro is a good group although I'm sure some will be let down by the 161 hype, the same hype they created for themselves. The ladder match, as I expected sounds insane and the 161 beatdown looks really good.

AWESOME FINISH! Catches the bounce off from the hail mary and gets clobbered on the 3 yard line!

Yeah. 28 second with to's is a life-time for that UL offense. It's not as if UK's defense is that good.

UK SCORES! TAKES THE LEAD!
-
That 'Bama/Ark game was good stuff and looks like UK/LV will be a good finish as well. Louisville is a fun team to watch since they don't play defense, they let teams hang around. Edit: Oh, man. Duke is actually leading in the 4th quarter. That is exactly what the Big Ten needs to make this year even better, losing to Duke.

What if Samoa Joe takes the WWE deal instead of TNA/ROH? Does Joe get the Umaga gimmick? Does Joe get treated the same as CM Punk? Would Cena push for his boy to get a main event program with him? Does Foley finally get to work with him? I don't think it hurts ROH all that much since Danielson, Punk (at the time), Styles, Homicide and Daniels were still around and we've seen that ROH without Joe right now, isn't hurting at all. TNA has fucked Joe around since the start with some horrible booking, I'm not quite sure it really changes anything other then it puts someone else in that spot instead.

He didn't need the rub from the angle though. He was doing just fine for himself over the years just based on his talent, mic skills, potraying such a charismatic heel. If anything, the fact that his big mouth got him into trouble, to me is a blessing because frankly the McMahon offspring storyline sucks. Unless he was taking chewable steroids, how exactly did his mouth get him in trouble?
-
I'm not feeling it. Maybe next month. One of the most overused internet jokes. So, fuck him for bringing that around.
-
Yet, I'm sure that won't get all that much coverage. Hell, I bet New Hampshire was the favorite going into that game.
