I figure Bengals/Steelers the sexy game with the background, and since Cincy is a "win and in" team (If NY drop this one) while I believe Jax/KC need help.

Claudio's indy deals is extended until March, which means Claudio will do a few more shows with ROH. Most likely to allow him to go out as a face over Hero.

That was the move I had in mind Someone's probably already done this, but how about a reverse figure-four, where the opponent is on his stomach instead of his back? Double team idea: One guy has the opponent on his shoulders, the other does a moonsault off the top turnbuckle and gives the opponent a neckbreaker(reverse DDT?) as his partner falls back. Since the moonsault guy would have to have some serious ups, it might be easier to do it off a ladder or cage. Also, it might never be allowed to happen, but how about an aireal move off of the Hell In A Cell onto someone layed out on the Spanish announce table? Jack Evans has done both. In fact, anymove you think would be cool, Jack's done it already.

Then we can have a post-Awards bitch thread. Which one because both were good. Angle been in alot of great matches. Not really. "Alot of great matches", is applicable for KENTA, Danielson, Marufuji, McGuinness, Joe and some others. Angle, is more "had some good matches and a vastly over rated match" year.

It's simply a matter of money. It's harder to book West Coast guys especially if they aren't a lock to get over. Richards, was someone Gabe was huge on and wanted him. The other guys struggled to get over and it's smarter to use Midwest/East Coast guys in their place.

On the way home from a family thing, I stopped at a Wal-Mart that was still open because I realized we were out of milk and I know my mother has this thing about hot chocolate on XMas morning and all the krogers and biggs were closed. There were people still shopping getting DVDs and stuff. Talk about pushing things off to the very last minute.

I still think SID was something of a huge missed opportunity in the business. He couldn't wrestle for shit nor cut a good promo that wasn't unintentional comedy but the man just had that "IT" that Paul Heyman often puts over. I'm really shocked WWE or TNA never jumped to this guy considering all the other old timers that pop up.

The way I see it is, Joe/Nigel on 2/17 since it's already set up, probably Marufuji in early summer and maybe even KENTA as well but yeah, they can't just go with Morishima/Joe that soon. Morishima needs to make at least another appearence before a match with Joe. Question is, will Morishima be champ by then?

We should but I wonder how serious it can be taken when people around here believe Taker/Angle was the MOTY.

I'm disapointed in the lack of snow for the Denver/Cincinnati game given the weather they had earlier this week. I do see the snow piled against the sideline wall but it's not the same with a pretty green field. Cincinnati got started quick. Cutler's going to have a bad day.

Indy seems to do well only against AFC West teams in the playoffs. If they hadn't fucked up, they stood a chance of getting the bye and lucking out with Denver/SD in the respective games. I still think Indy could more then likely slip into the SB thanks to Martyball. What worries me is that Chicago will suffer a Grossman game and we could see America's Team and Gale Sayers II with a record being set in tiring SB hype stories. Katrina, Brees's arrival, Bush being the "future", The rebuilding of NO, Peyton's choke antics, his father's history with NO, the suicide of Dungy's son last year and whichever Colt tackle gets arrested for a DUI two days before the game.

WWE is underwritten, while TNA is over written. Angle's a joke and I'm sure everyone got a good laugh at him. Joe's "in" with the UFC crowd and community, and Angle's going around like the typical pro "rassler" with these angles.

The car situation hasn’t really been figured out, yet. I’m still looking around and haven’t found anything that I want just yet. I’m borrowing a pick up that my father had, and usually just riding with Allison. I figure I’ll lock down on a new car before the fucking ball drops next week. I’ve said many times around this place that I adore and fucking love the holiday/winter season. However, it hasn’t felt like winter. It’s regularly 65 degrees here and that’s just wrong. I need that chill down my spine as I feel the breeze creep into the house, or see my breath hang in the air as I walk to the shop, or feel the crunch of the powder white snow collapsing against the ice. I don’t want to be working outside in jeans and a t-shirt. I don’t want to see girls walking around in something that isn’t an adorable sweater or jacket with rosy cheeks. The holiday season hasn’t felt like the holidays, not remotely. There’s not a shred of “joy” or “cheer” throughout the land. Just a mass mess of consumerism walking around looking for some stupid ass Video Game System to make our children grow fatter, lazier and more incompentant at anything other then Left, Right, Down, Up, Left, B, Select, Right, Down, A, Right, Up. Yesterday, I had my mother’s family to deal with. Ironically enough, as a child, I couldn’t find these people endearing. I got older and despite their increased obnoxiousness, I can handle them easier nowadays. Although, we hold these xmas gatherings at my cousin’s house and I get it, “Your Rich!”, seriously. They had a entertainment system that Marvin would have whipped his untouched dick out and jacked feverishly. TV’s don’t need to be 70 inches wide and 18 feet high. I received about $300 in gift cards from Best Buy, Target, Restaurants and Barnes and Noble. I don’t enjoy getting cards because of the lack of sentiment attached but given that I know none of these people aside from these family gatherings, I can excuse them for it. What I dislike is that given the size of the family, each person is given a list of 12 people to buy for (not including the boy/girl-friends, you have to be family or married/engaged into it) Everyone has a different list and somehow, everyone gets the same # of gifts, other then my grandmother whom usually gets about 30 pointless gifts. I just got her a gift card to Cracker Barrel since she likes that shit. Allison skipped this one because we agreed to just do one side for each family and she had to work last night. That’s a shame, she fits in more with my mother’s side then she does with my father’s side and she’ll join me tonight for that one. My father’s side is incredibly boring. Nothing happens, it’s the same conversations, same jokes and this time it’ll consist of less random syllables spoken during the Bengals/Broncos game. It’s a complete contrast. Mom’s side is rather pretentious and money obsessed but they are at least alive. Dad’s side feels like a funeral with the awkward head nodding, small talk and general feeling of “I gotta get outta here” floating over the tiny house that belonged to my grandmother before she died and was brought by my aunt. I know for a fact at least 10-12 people who usually attend this aren’t because they don’t want to. Gifts used to be dispersed but given the lack of closeness (in spirit, we all live close) between my intermediate family and the rest of my dad’s distant family, that’s gone now too. My uncles, aunts and cousins don’t feel the need to exchange gifts with my family. They’ll do their real Christmas later tonight away from us. It’s a fucking farce. It’s Christmas without presents, family warmth or anything. It’s thanksgiving but with less food. I’ll do Allison’s father’s side tomorrow night and that’s about the same as my mother’s side in that they’re pretentious snobs as well. The real issue was the decision if she would have xmas in the morning with my inmediate family, since she doesn’t have that with hers. My sister waited 2 years with her husband while they were dating before he did that with us, I took that cue and felt maybe it’s too soon and she completely agreed. It feels weird. She’s moving with me, in this very house in a few months, here all the time and yet, Christmas morning is still to “sacred" to impede on, she felt. I spent way too much this year. $7,849. To be exact. To be fair, most of that was on my father's gift. Otherwise, it was about my usual average. In the next week, I'll be having two Year in Review entries. One for my personal life, which is about 80% of the content in these blogs and a wrestling based one over ROH, WWE and TNA including my BEST OF 2006 lists including the top 25 MOTY's. The #1 is probably obvious but the rest of the list might surprise some.

Opening Promo Joe opens the show, interrupting Bobby Cruise. He wishes he could complete tonight, and puts over ROH in Hartford. "I apologize that I won't be able to compete tonight... I recently tripped over some bad booking." Match #1: Jason Blade pinned Pelle Primeau with a moonsault Seems like Blade hurt his ankle on the guard railing hitting a moonsault to the outside. Said to be a good opener. Match #2: Austin Aries pinned Eddie Edwards with the brain buster/450 splash combination Decent match, no one really got into Edwards. Match #3: Adam Pearce pinned Delirious following abrass knucks shot Hagadorn tried to use knucks, but Pearce used his own. Pelle Primeau argued with Hagadorn, leading to Hagadorn taking a pile driver from Delirious. Match #4: BJ Whitmer & Daizee Haze over Jimmy Jacobs & Mercedes Martinez when Haze pinned Martinez Big brawl that saw Daizee pin Mercedes with a splash off of Jacobs, who was on Whitmer's shoulders. Martinez seemed legit hurt after BJ hit a double exploder on both her and Jimmy. UPDATED: Mercedes needed a lot of help to the back following this match, and she basically didn't move after taking the double exploder w/Jimmy. Seems more and more likely she was legit hurt. Afterwards, Albright attacked Whitmer, and Albright & Jacobs worked Whitmer over with a pipe and went after Daizee, bringing Colt out, leading to... Match #5: Colt Cabana pinned Brent Albright by reversing an armdrag into a roll-up. Good, technical match, a little slow for the crowd, who was on Alright heavily. ROH returns to Hartford, CT on Friday, May 11. Match 6: The Kings of Wrestling defeated Jay & Mark Briscoe when Sweet-N-Sour Larry Sweeney hit Jay and Hero rolled up Jay up for the pinfall. Match was very good. Larry Sweeney got a small chant from the crowd. Crowd seems a little smaller than the East Windsor shows had been. Crowd has been okay, more interesting on giving certain wrestlers a hard time. Never super hot, but clearly into the matches. Not Long Island level, but not spectacular. Currently at intermission, it was announced that the FIP title match and the Tag Team title match are a double main event.

Marty is about 2 more years away from reaching Warrior levels.

I said this the other day, I expect Edge to draw #1 with Matt drawing #2. Edge will go 45 minutes. Undertaker's probably the best way to go but not leading to a match with Batista at WM because nothing is gained from that.

I can't see them putting their #1 heel against Hogan. Hogan has his list with TBS/Cena/Angle and Austin, for the $ only. I say he's likely just to induct someone in the HOF again and use that to put over WM3. I doubt Hogan would share the spotlight, especially with Flair.

I can’t imagine two more unlikable and overbearing pompous loudmouths so contradictory in image yet so parallel with their impenetrable ego and arrogance. Why do people care about this? Trump is all over the place, again and just in time for the return of his little reality show. America just loves mud slinging, even if it's over frivolous bullshit like this.
