Why is Chris Benoit being mentioned? He signed a contract with WWE and he is on the upcoming touring schedule. Everyone makes sense as far as being rumored suggestions despite not being realistic by any stretch of the imagination.

Here is an idea... What do you WANT it to be? Keeping it realistic, (meaning no Lesnar/Angle/Hart fantasies)... We know the timeslot and Russo stuff, that's already been openly revealed. While the "major announcment" is going to involve those things, it isn't neccesarily the entire deal. The only thing really to measure this hype is if they signed a current WWE top level contracted worker under the rader and with the legal contracts WWE has on big name talents, that isn't possible anymore. The announcment will be a failure in terms of matching the hype but it does need to matter.

The point is Jericho isn't struggling to make a living. His fire as a wrestler was burnt out and he's doing various projects to keep himself active.

Being a WWE worker, especially that as a mid-carder is hardly being a "real star". Jericho has done more then just bit roles on Sci-Fi and VH1 (which he was doing before he left WWE anyways). He had success in theatre and he has his radio show as well. You act as if Jericho is in the gutter because of a one week stint on a reality talent show.

Perhaps Eli realized that coming back is more fun and gets more attention then playing good for the entire 60 minutes.

What a great first of half of football. Cincy/Pittsburgh was hard hitting and intense with great plays and crazy antics, Chicago/Minnesota was typical Chicago football (ugly) and bunch of close games throughout the nation.

I don't think I have ever seen an exciting and intense game with this many ints, sacks and fumbles and yet some fantastic plays such as that TD to TJ right there from Palmer. I said in my blog eariler this week that Ben isn't the same and he obviously doesn't have the drive he once did and that's been very evident in this game.

That's why he restructures his new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. Provisions galore. Creative control like Hogan and Foley. Less dates. With the dearth of main eventers, it's very possible. No way does Jericho have that kind of stroke. That's why I don't think we'll see him back -- he wouldn't come back just to be another guy in the mix, which is what would likely happen. Jericho, while often misused was greatly looked upon by the company as one of the very few "go-to" guys. He was always credible enough to plug into the main event when they needed someone or for him to put someone over. Jericho, won't get a creative control clause but as far as working dates are concerned, he does have a legitimate chance at getting things to fall on his side.
