I hate how every season one of the local teams (Miami, UC etc) get an early lead on OSU and they hang around until the 4th quarter when the Buckyes snap out and slaughter them. As I type that, Animal's boy gets the INT.

That reminds me, my HS was also on this show. If you ever saw the episode about the kids who stole the farm animals and unleashed them into the school and the animals were killed...I was in the junior class. That wasn't a pretty day. MTV, completely made the kids look like victims because they weren't allowed to graduate and served a week of jail time. Of course, they didn't ask me to be on the show but they did interview one of my ex's. So, I hadn't seen this show air before until a few months ago and I flipped pasted MTV2 and I saw her talking. I was shocked to say the least.

You can't really fault ROH for having to set up a tent without much time to prepare. It wasn't the attendence that was an issue, the building was supported by an air bubble dome. Which means, with heavy rain it is against fire code regulations to hold that many people, especially when it's not built to hold that many people anyways. It becomes a hazard. That's why they moved it outside, they really had no other choice other then canceling the show outright. According to some reports, the inside of that building was flooding anyways. ROH's table is fair priced, considering the quality of the DVD's compared to all other independent promotions. Besides, there's usually a Buy 3 Get 1 Free sale. It sucks that you had to view the show in the rain but after attending many shows in what is known as "THE OVEN" in Dayton, sitting in the rain sounds lovely.

This will presumably be part one of a doubleshot for FINAL BATTLE 2006 weekend. 5) Austin Aries pinned Davey Richards after a second brainbuster. Aries hit a kick to the head and brainbuster, but Davey kicked out at 2 9/10ths. Aries hit the 2nd for the win. (I negelected to mention that it is POURING rain at the tent right now...causing certain parts to dip and bow based on the volume of rain weighing it down...This could be a potential issue/problem.) INTERMISSION 6) Delirious over Shane Hagadorn...Following the match, Delirious apparently gave the Top of the Class Trophy to a fan. I am not sure whether he won it, or just did it because he's good'ole crazy Delirious... 7) Samoa Joe over Roderick Strong after a top rope Death Valley Driver which crunched Strong's head/neck 8) KENTA & Naomichi Marufuji over Jay & Mark Briscoe when KENTA pinned Mark Briscoe following the GO TO SLEEP

Like I said, using them as cornermen or just there in attendence alone raises the value of the show. It also leads to the chance of them using the appearences to build to some sort of series involving those 3 talents down the line. It introduces them to the fanbase (via dvd) that don't know who they are and builds interest in them for the future. I'm still a strong believer that we're heading to a NOAH/ROH joint show or series show. Perhaps, for FB06 or even WM Weekend in Detroit.

HBK/Mysterio, seems too irresistible. If anything, these guys won't have anything fresh to do unless they want Shawn to give Doane/Nitro/Carlito a rub (yeah, that's silly)...Shawn will "need" a high profile match and Mysterio is probably the best bet for that.

The first week of NFL action, was a disaster. Everyone tends to neglect that the first week of NFL action is poor because teams are just starting. Usually by week 4, is when things get rolling. The Bengals thoroughly embarrassed the K.C Chiefs despite a shaky offensive performance. A Cincinnati team with improved defense (held fantasy stud RB Johnson to 68 yards and 7 sacks, in addition to a pair of fumbles and an INT). The real embarrassment came from Green Bay and Oakland. (I’m willing to consider Tampa’s horrid showing as a mere aberration). Oakland has a sorry excuse of a QB. They knew this going into the season and were desperate enough to actually give Jeff George a try-out. Green Bay, was probably well prepared for the season they are about to have and despite a tremendously weak schedule, they will still have trouble reaching 5 wins. Oakland, really looked like a team that may be rendered winless throughout the entire season. A lot of hype and talk pours from the first week and people are already proclaiming that Baltimore is “back”, that Washington is already dead. That T.O and Drew Bledsoe are heading towards a collision by week 6. I get that the Media and talk radio need some material but they really pull stuff out of their collective asses to cover air. Aside from obvious things such as Aaron Brooks being the most inept starting QB today and for the better part of his career and that GB isn’t going upward anytime soon…nothing is for sure in the NFL. Except the things that are for sure… College Football, on the other hand? Complete bore. The only intriguing stuff is the near wins from the cup-cake teams and that hasn’t gotten anywhere and that element is gone now as real games get underway. I just wish they would go ahead and start the BCS bitching and the playoff complaints. Baseball, is suffering again from NFL’s mighty hand as the summer which was ripe with interest is quickly fading outside the AL Central competitors. The Reds, are still hanging by a thread but with the Marlins being the Marlins…You probably should pencil them in for another WC berth and WS victory as America yawns in approval. The high from the previous weekend being caught up in the wedding bliss and anxious excitement that surrounds it dissipated sometime Monday afternoon and has been sinking downwards. The first two weeks of classes, where things are still in the air and everyone including the professor is getting adjusted has settled and things are really starting to pick up steam now and Im trying to kill years of laziness by actually getting it done ahead of time. I had 6 classes at one point, but I've scaled down to four classes. Figuring the other two classes are better suited for next semester where I can take those two classes in addition to the other 3 required classes for the Miami Plan. In case I never mentioned it, Creative Writing is my major. This is the result of countless professors, peers and family/friends telling me that I am a polished creative mind. While my actual writing skills need touch-up, it’s wise direction to take. I don't think any major I would choose actually matters to me in the long run, as my future is probably set in some office anyways. I suppose I should be focused on Business-Management but despite my experience and skills in that department, I don't like business. I really need to get a job though. Not because I need money (still got that saved) but I need something to fill up the hours. Everyone else I know (knew) is always working/schooling. I need something to do with the other 14 hours of my day, because the 'NET isn't it. I do hate being single. I really do. The really annoying part about this is that im constantly reminded of my most recent ex, because I have a class with her older sister and we usually have lunch together. It's completely cordial but obviously the back of mind is thinking about my ex. I don't want to get back with her, but I do want that *thing* back again. There are always options. Two of them are right there... One would be my sister's best friend, the girl from the wedding that I mentioned. As of this moment, she is still with her boyfriend but things change and if that requires me to push the first domino...then it might just come down to that. There is this other girl, this started back a couple weeks ago. It was just a couple days of constant eye contact but no direct communication. Then, I finally went to her as we were walking towards the parking lot...we had a very lovely conversation that afternoon and we make the occasional chit-chat here and there and the eye contact has remained persistent...but I’m still feeling a slight chill of ice in her. I want to break that but in a rare occurrence for me...I'm nervous. Maybe it’s the months spent here with people like WP and Marvin clouding my mind and injecting their issues through me because I’m rarely in the position to lack confidence. I’ll figure this out yet.

Kurt, is a fool. We knew this awhile ago but he continues to find new measures to prove it. In no circumstances should he even remotely consider any physically competitive task. Especially, something as physically taxing as MMA. Even if it’s against another relatively inexperienced MMA worker in Brock Lesnar. Obviously, it will be a big payday for Angle, especially against Lesnar since that’ll attract a circus like atmosphere, more so then people paying to see a slaughter with Angle against a more legitimate worker. I’d like to think no one in the MMA world as far as competitors would even consider touching this but money talks.

WP, it's the other way around. Men are divided by 3. Women are x'd by three. The actual answer is 6. It wasn't a snide remark. It was a straight commentary, listening to you and Marvin, probably lessened my confidence by some internet osmosis. There's nothing awkward about being with the BF, I did that at my sister's wedding. It's just matter of knowing her intentions. I'm not going to jump in and shove the guy aside. That's her role but I'm not going to punk out and stay idle waiting. If anything, I'm more focused on the other girl anyways. Its just that my sister's friend is showing more active signs of life.

Slight update I got a txt message from my sister's friend First, "our" is her and her cousin/niece (some relative)who have an apartment. I don't directly know what this means and I can't just ask if her bf will be there but I assume he will...

"Weak", compared with Night 2 I would make that argument but on it's own it's a great card with 4 legitimate main event quality matches. Expect a very vocal crowd. There will be morons out there just they are at every wrestling/sporting event but since the crowd is more compacted, they become more noticeable. The majority are just wrestling fans marking out and following the show. Chants will be started, especially "Dueling Chants" but you can't fight it. Pay attention to the matches because you'll be throughly entertained, especially by a card like this one. Make sure to get autographs from the NOAH guests, because it's not common for a trio of NOAH talents to be open for autographs.

Where is this? It's still $2.50-2.70 in most places in Mass. $2.04, now in SW Ohio.

Well, NOAH officials were already going to be in attendence anyways with KENTA and Marufuji working the show, especially with the GHC Heavyweight title defense. So bringing other NOAH talents makes sense. It would appear to be the obvious sell to those workers and perhaps we'll even see some sort of angle develop from it as they haven't been shy about their intent to book these guys.

Show's gonna go flying off/through the cage for your HOLY SHIT moment of the evening. I was actually thinking that it was going to be Shane that would go flying off/through the cage. Show falling can hurt someone else or himself very badly. You know, as much as I think the way they book HIAC matches now, with more emphasis on grueling, barbaric punishment, part of me really misses the days of the crazy, 'holy shit' bumps they used to throw in. Nothing in a HIAC match will ever top the Undertaker-Mankind match, but it would be fun to see them try. Show going flying would be a holy shit bump..unless they pull a Rikishi with it.. It would be amazing, but remember for the WWE "wrestling" fan that Rikishi spot was amaing. When Rikishi went off the HIAC I didn't think it was that great. Sure the visual was impressive, but he landed in a truck filled with sawdust (or whatever it was) so people knew it wasn't going to be as "spontaneous" looking as Foley or even HBK. Personally, Rikishi coming off the top of the cage and squashing Val Venis dead was a much bigger "Holy Shit!" moment. I didn't think he was really going to do it (I didn't think there was a chance in hell Val would risk getting landed on by a 350 pound man from that height) and there wasn't anything to tip it off. Personally, I'm looking for Sabu to run out and distract Show, causing him to rip open the cell. They'll both end up on top of the cell, Sabu tries to do something nuts to show, which results in show chokeslamming Sabu off the top for the HOLY SHIT moment. Shane, is really the only realistic choice for any potential "Holy Shit" as that's all he's good for. Now, if they go run-in nuts as I expect them too...I wouldn't doubt the possibility that one of the S.S takes the huge bump. Wouldn't that be great if the SS used the trampoline to propel to the top of the cell? It'd be a neat visual at least. I'd have Doane jump on the trampoline to the top side of the cell only for someone either on top of the cell or climbing the cell inside hit Doane with a chair and Doane crashes into the other SS's.

Kool-Aid, is a pretty conventional saying that most people get even if they aren't aware of its orgin. I do like the usage of an worn out cliche in relation to another.

The Reds, with a key chance to continue to gain ground on the WC take another step back as they are currently taking a beating from the Padres.

He will be signing autographs, but the obvious route is a Bruno/Nana confrontation. It's in the shadows of MSG and Bruno still likes wrestling, just hates the business. Bruno and ROH, were in talks for awhile but wasn't until this show they pulled the trigger.

It’s amazing the sense of entitlement that “fans” like Downhome and BVD have in regards to The Rock. I still fail to see exactly what The Rock has done wrong, “The Rock” is clearly a nickname and it was fine for his initial foray into the movie business, especially with the action movies but with The Rock’s transition into be a legitimate actor and not just a wrestler/movie star hybrid as he once was…that would require him to drop that nickname. Point to where he is slamming the wrestling business. Here is his exact wording… All that he ever said was, “That part of my life is over”. He didn’t call the business a joke (although he has voiced his opinion on the current state of affairs in the recent past). He didn’t criticize the fans. He just said “I’m out of that business”. He just simply asked to be referred by his actual name when Southland Tales is released. I laugh at that idiotic statement that The Rock isn’t being professional in regards to working with Shawn. If anything, Rock was one of the most professional workers in the business and that he needs to be “professional” to someone who is the antithesis of professional. The Rock isn’t being insincere by “kissing the fans asses” by saying he misses the atmosphere of wrestling, because he does but that isn’t his life anymore. That part was his past and it’s behind him now. Thus, the desire to be known by his actual name. The Rock was a character and he isn’t playing that character anymore. So why he should he keeps the name? So pay homage to something of his past? Does that mean William Shatner should go around and only announce himself as Captain James T. Kirk? Why should The Rock be held captive by a former character? Why should people like you feel such entitlement? It’s his life, identity and future.
