I wonder if given a choice between choosing the ideal last meal or sex, which would win out between death row inmates?

I think tonight's game should finally convince Narron to stop trying this cutesy act with Denorfia and just start Freel every game. I think alot of Cincy's fans are starting to learn that questioning Krivsky is a waste of time since it appears that "stupid" trade ended up being a good thing (as of right now).

I think Taker/Khali or Batista/Henry were the original main event but I guess they might actually have to go with the world title match for the main event.

It was even worse at the time because Shane Douglas, Billy Kidman, Chris Kanyon, Rey Mysterio, and Konnan wanted releases as well. Imagine how hectic it was knowing that 9 of your top talents wanted out to possibly go to WWE? Shane never intended to leave for WWE. He knew he'd get buried instantly, for him it was just a power play.

Half the problems would be solved if Jeter would just move over to 2B and A-Rod play his natural position. That'd would mean Jeter couldn't do his Curt Hennig tributes and that would make him sad. Jeter isn't allowed to be sad.

They want to represent all eras and that would include John Cena, whom they want to be presented as Hogan/Rock level star. The problem was, they didn't have much to choose from and selecting Cena/Christian/Jericho is really awkward. Cena/JBL from JD05 would have served better in putting Cena over.

Put down for the first open team. I don't care who it is.

I didn't witness the events surrounding Souled Out 2000 at the time, but wasn't that a very similar situation to this, as well as the political turmoil between Russo/Sullivan/Radicals? Hart and Jarrett were each taken from the show via concussions (Bret's from Goldberg's kick and waiting to get a check-up and Jarrett's from Russo's brain-fart of letting Jarrett work 3 matches in one night including a cage with Snuka). The main event was basically the remaining halfs of the two main events (Sid/Hart and Benoit/Jarrett). Since Benoit/Jarrett was supposed to be a Triple Threat Theatre (3 Matches, 3 stipulations), they turned it into Kidman vs The Revolution (Melenko, Wall and Saturn). Then you throw in the Russo and Radicalz bullshit. Nothing can touch this mess.

I still don't get why CM Punk isn't on ECW's roster and CW Anderson is.

Booker and Khali are the only top name regulars(Since Taker takes the usual hiatus) for Smackdown that hasn't gone down or suffered a injury this year. By November, if Smackdown even exists it will be main evented by Tatanka and Kid Kash.

It took only 6 weeks for Low Ki to start complaining. That's longer then usual.

Yeah, but Trish has a generic blond look about her that most of the women in Hollywood do. I can reallyonly see her getting bimbo roles and whatnot. She showed she looked just as good as a brunette. Not that many hollywood chicks look athletic like Trish, they are usually sticks like Stacy. Stacy won America over via her legs, smile and personality.

Trish or Stacy? Which will get more work or more success outside WWE? Unlike Chyna and Sable, these two appear to be intelligent and business orientated and possess skills beyond being a freak of nature or a silicone advertisement. Stacy, already has the foot in the door thanks to the popularity of DWTS2 and she has already gotten work. Trish, I believe was a better actress with the shitty WWE script. I do think Stacy will do fine but Trish has a better chance of longer term success.

Please, they can be mocking Lashley for not being able to compete and in the process Regal makes a insult about the Irish people, Finlay mocks the British people. Instant program right there. After a good old fashioned slugfest, they hug it out.

A retarded mute with AIDS is sure-fire way to a oscar.

I can easily visualize him in the role and I'm guessing they want to go a completely opposite direction with Joker from Jack's protrayal.

Except that he has a good track record of sending wrestlers to rehab, even if it wasn't in the public spotlight. He sent Eddie, Regal among others and tried countlessly to get Hardy into rehab. Eddie did publicly embarrass the company with his drunk driving arrest. Eddie, was sent to rehab prior to the arrest. He was cut after the arrest.

For a virtual rookie like Kennedy to slam a well-respected veteran like Crazy, it's a huge mistake to make especially when it was both of their fault for the poor match.
-
Mercy Drive. As for me "New Noise"-Refused.
-
Kennedy is just going to be Batista's whipping boy. This is probably additional punishment for his attitude problems and the whole Super Crazy situation. I still think Finlay taking out Lashley during the triple threat match and having Batista challenge Finlay in a non-title match would do better then Kennedy/Batista.

The domestic issues, which is rooted from the actual cause is just the cover excuse for Angle's absence. His addiction to drugs is way to severe and it's so serious that they are willing to take away a key player from ECW. I hope he doesn't return for awhile because it will take more then 6 months to kick the dependency and he really needs the rest.

Went to the Reds game tonight and depite the shut down on the highway (which forced at least 50% of the fans to find another route or not even attend) and the long rain delay, it was a pretty fun time although the crowd was dead the entire game. The bullpen is fantastic and that trade is starting to look like a big upgrade already because Clayton has been very serviceable and Freel/Denorfia have done well in the absence of Kearns. BTW, Hanks and Opie got a bigger reaction then LaRue's double.

I'm surprised they are giving Punk good treament, especially since Heyman lost all control and they just rushed Knox out there. Punk, is getting his character built up and they are milking the in-ring debut so that it'll mean something. You also have to look at it like this, CM Punk is really well known through the indy scene and Vince realizes this. Vince knows that there are a lot of hardcore/internet/smart mark fans out there even through he thinks the ECW fanbase is so tiny, he knows theres good amount of his crowd are smart fans. Mike Knox could be rushed out there because no one really knew him. CM Punk on the other hand is pretty well known and they are doing the right thing by not rushing Punk out. If anything its making people want to tune in so they can see Punk's first televised ECW match. As lon as they build him up correctly and his first match isn't a squash but rather a competitve match, Punk will be on the right track. This won't happen but if they could stretch out Punk's debut until Kurt Angle comes back...that's an instant feud right there. They won't need to touch the sXe stuff, but it could be there hanging in the background because that fanbase you just referenced will see it. It'd be an unspoken element. It would be built similarly to Hart/Austing except this time, the young heel gets the victory. That could possibly work if maybe Angle was doing the open challange thing but it can't happen unless Angle came back in two weeks or sooner. CM Punk vs Angle is something that really needs to be set up and Punk should really be established with the fan base before something like that happens. Just throwing out a Punk vs Angle feud right away won't draw a good amount of fans. It'll draw the hardcore fans but the general fans need to be intrested as well. You missed the point, I said build it like Austin/Hart was. While Hart was gone, Austin mocked him and questioned Bret's ability and declared himself the better of the two. That's what Punk should be doing. Tell us that Angle took a leave of absence because he was burnt out, mock him for leaving and hiding from the future such as CM Punk. Eventually that would draw Angle back and in his first back, he faces Punk who finally steps in the ring and Punk proves himself. Punk is one of the very few guys who can build an entire storyline by himself. He will require more then 30 seconds each week. If you delay the in-ring debut of Punk, those new fans along with the smark fanbase will want it more and it becomes that much more important once it happens.
