I thought Gossler (SBTB) was the most surprising partner because I wasn't expecting him to be that entertaining and to gel with Andy. If I rounded this out to the top 25, Newsradio would have made the cut alongside Scrubs, COPS, ER, and All in the Family. I should note that I haven't even seen this season of VM or the second(and I believe last, right?) season of Dead Like Me. So I think once I see those seasons, they'll probably move up.

I think the fact they spread them around (Berkley and Rhode Island) was nice, because all the other shows always someone managed to get the entire group to stick in the same general area. It was already confirmed the show is shifting towards Kaitlin anyways (and looking back at last night, they were really foreshadowing the change)

I've been saying that for awhile. OTH has more going for it. OC only beat OTH in the first season in terms of quality but since then it's been OTH's game.

From what the EP of the show said, they intended to do a spin-off with Kaitlin's character. They planted the seeds tonight when Kaitlin made her intentions clear about her moving back to Newport. It's supposed to be a TV version of Mean Girls or whatever but obviously with more drugs, violence and sex. I guess they couldn't do a direct spin off, so they had to keep the OC name and the principle characters like The Cohens and Julie Cooper. My guess is that Ryan, Seth and Summer make cameos once the show shifts to Kaitlin. It'll be a complete revamp with the changes.

Lister, hasn't exactly been out of the world since Zeus. He's had modest success actually.

Every teen tv show has that one actor who breaks away from the show and has modest success. DC had Katie Holmes for awhile but then Michelle Williams kind of took over that. 90210, Shannon Doherty and Luke Perry didn't fade away like the rest of the cast did. I'm sure someone on OC will have a modest post OC carrer. It won't be Barton though.

The show was pretty much dead about 2-3 seasons ago but the finale closed it up, though predictably on a good enough note. I have to say, this show lasted longer then many people probably predicted (8 seasons). It also moved around more then any show I can remember. I believe, with the exception of saturdays, 70's show aired on every night and at different time slots. Sometimes even moving multiple times per season.

I figured I would have to explain this, it's not a best shows on TV list. The reason shows like DC and BMW are on the list is because at one time or another, I got with those shows. I had my Topanga/Joey in my life, so I always related to Dawson and Cory. DC wasn't over the top like OC and 90210 are. It was always established as a show about upper class kids in a small town and the conflicts of falling in love. The timing of that show and myself meshed together and I was able to follow the show. I put the show that high on the list because of my connection to the show at 15/16. Not because of the quality of the show. As for the OC? It's 99% based off the strength of the first season. The last two seasons were garbage but that first season was just magic. It's funny, in most places I would have to explain the placement of GG but not here.

True, but the song always had a meaning in The OC world. They established the importance of that song in the second episode. When it's played, its for a reason and not because producers were lazy and went with the overdone song. .

Who? Are they going to have brand new characters and what not? They pretty much said that next season will revolve around Kaitlin, as they appear to be fading the main cast out.

Of course it'll be, Like you said...the show won't work anymore. That is why tonight should have been the final episode of the O.C. It was perfect way to close the show out. I mean, playing Hallelujah at the end was the obvious but right way to go. It'll completely struggle now because that was a crucial aspect of the show's success. No one likes moody OC, now we got at least 1/4 of a season flooded with moody depression OC.

Remember what I was saying about The OC? Tonight, should have been the SERIES finale. It would have been the perfect ending. It wrapped up the entire story and came so full circle. Alas, they will drag another season through the mud.

It's hard to do that for Joe, considering the barbeque grease on his fingers, right?

Carter=Name Terry=No-name. That's basically what it comes down to.

Placing it on Friday for second half, probably was just in case one of those new shows do succeed. If one of them tanks (or the two comedies), that's probably where Bones will end up.

Wrong. From Gabe via ROH. He might work 6/3, he plans to do 6/17 (although that depends on his progress) and he will be on all shows after that. Relax people and wait till you get official word from the company he works for before overreacting.

I bet at the trekkie boards (and I'm sure they exist, and I hope I never encounter that place, they'd make WP look normal in contrast) they are up in arms about wrestling being on their docking station.

That makes sense but I'm not sure Dirk fits the flashy pop superstar aspect of Agassi that I was making there with the whole comparison. You might be right about Nash, however. Nash just needs to win titles like Agassi has. That's why I named Shaq, Shaq is more popular then Duncan and everyone seemingly loves him and he has a few titles and they had those wars in the early 00's like Agassi and Sampras did.

That's the best way to put it. Who would be the Agassi of the NBA? The insanely popular player that can perform and win but just can't beat Sampras/Duncan... I wanted to say Shaq but I'm not sure if that is the right choice.

I was thinking this eariler, is Duncan the most celebrated NBA player to go so completely under the radar? He has 3 rings and is still young(only 30 years old) along with a pair of MVP's and yet, people tend to neglect him. While it's due to his lack of personality, the market he plays in as well as not being an electrifying type player but it's still sad that he gets ignored so much.
