Alot of it has to do with the fanbase. The stereotype is true, it's why advertisers avoid wrestling when it's not "hot". The average income for WWE fans are among the lowest of all network programing. NASCAR was able to shed it's country redneck trailer park image by getting respectability and proving to reach out to a really wide spectrum of fans. WWE isn't going to do that, The Rock is the peak of mainstream credibility for WWE. WWE will never reach that again. Hogan was viewed as a cartoonish larger then life persona and generally viewed as a punchline.

I just noticed that aside from Earl/Office, NBC is the only channel that I completely have zero interest in.

The CW networks only had 3 shows I cared about (Girls, Tree Hill and Mars). So I'm guessing that 2/3 are gone yet 7th Heaven sticks around. Great.

Well, Raven has put on weight due to his thyroid problem...until he sheds it, he'll look like...well, Fat Raven. Combine that with a match against A1... I think Raven's performance tonight was the best one could hope for under the circumstances. Plus, A1 took the finishing DDT like a champ. Oh, I guess Raven's not at the fault for his poor condition. Hopefully, he can get himself back in shape. Here's the problem, Im not watching the show but Im assuming they are ignoring Raven's weight gain. They need to explain why Raven suddenly ballooned to near 300 lbs, either be open about the thyroid situatation or insinuate that since he was "fired/suspended/whatever", he let himself go and has sought comfort in food, beer and drugs again.

You are getting legendary and famous, mixed up. Seinfeld, is legendary in music regardless of which genre and niche style of music he performed. While I wouldn't place Biohazard in my top list for Hardcore, the influence they made is there.

Change the world, one by one When I graduated high school, after collecting piles of envelopes stuffed with cash from uncles and aunts and the rest of the family circle, My mother handed me this box. It was a leather box and inside it was this small card about the size of an index and it read that. The box had belonged to my grandfather, who died before I was born and she handed it down to me as I was the first male in her side of the family to graduate high school. I know it's trendy to hate your parents and pretend like they don't matter but it's bullshit. They do mean something, for better or for worse. Maybe I was one of those lucky few in this world but I actually like my parents. Not because I have to but because they are genuinely good people with good hearts who care about the important things in life (love, family etc). I've been blessed to have a father who made a good living for me and my older sister and a devoted mother who I consider a friend more then a mother. My girlfriends have also felt like she was a friend more then a mother. She is the kind of person you can talk to for hours about anything. Its sad that alot of people are afraid of their parents, and for that I'll never understand it. Get to know where you came from. Today is Hallmark's big day to celebrate mothers. Just another beautiful thing (motherhood) that Hallmark has raped. ---- Apparently I'm over in Leena and Tekcop's world. That's good company. I'm just me, and unlike 95% of this place...I'm not a gimmick looking for attention and jockeying for a spot on the social status here. So I'm content as #3 on Leena's list.
