Yet, you instantly knew he had to be on Raw and was a wrestler.

The problem is? TNA doesn't really NEED Strong like they needed Joe. TNA, is smart enough to know that Strong wouldn't be used in WWE and probably never really saw him as a focal point of their promotion. Strong's efforts might just get him out of TNA quicker, if he is trying to use this as a negotiational tool.

Is Kelly required to make appearences on AI? Because she needs to distance herself from it, she doesn't need the show anymore.
-
exactly...I don't think she'd be as marketable as Kelly Clarkson anyway. Really, who on this season is as marketable? I don't think any of them are. Chris, could survive briefly as a front man for your generic radio rock band (as Fuel, was mentioned eariler) but I wouldn't see him approaching marketability like Kelly. Mandisa would be pigeon-holed, Taylor has no real audience. Same goes for Kevin because his supposed cuteness has a limited shelf-life. The rest aren't worth going over because they probably aren't going to approach that. Ace, is just another good looking kid.

3/21: A Vet Of Pet Roundups And Avoiding Accidents

I have three dogs. A 3 year old white cocker, a 18 month old brown german shepard/lab and a 15 week old white Sharpai. They are incredibly fun. On the other end, I had a pair of cats growing up, as my sister had a thing for them in her early years and they did nothing but sleep, hide and avoid us. What's the point of feeding and taking care of a animal that doesn't want you? That's what teenagers are for. -
That would disqualify quite a few TNA wrestlers as well, since most of them only wrestle once or twice a week at the most. But most of them wrestle for combinations of ROH, CZW, IWA-MS, 1PW etc. They're not wrestling 200 a year, but still eons more than Shane McMahon is. Probably more in the 100-150 mark. Don't forget that those guys go all out for most of the shows, while the WWE'rs admitedly take things down a notch and don't work competitive matches as frequently as the indy workers do. I've seen Joe work 4 shows a week on occasions, alot of the indy wrestlers take massive amounts of bookings that probably reaches closer to 200 then 100.

It's a good thing that Angle-Plex wasn't a record exec in the 60's and saw Aretha. "Too fat. get out, hit the gym and get a little work done here and there and come back". That being said, Mandisa isn't the ideal Idol but she can sing. She'd have no less and no more success then Fantasia did. Which is what the show DOESN'T need. Kelly keeps the show credible but with those other winners and runner-ups who managed a career of sorts not doing anything...

He is the right size for Velocity. Right now, he probably knows TNA won't be pushing him because of the incident (Aries, by nature of his charisma and talent has a better chance of surviving it) and is most likely just using talks with WWE as bait to get TNA to reduce the suspension. He has alot on his plate in ROH, and as we know by his decision last month, Strong is loyal to ROH. Not that he would take ROH over WWE, because even the ultimate ROH advocate made the move as well. Hopefully his program with the Briscoes/Rotties/Styles N Sydal gets the time and quality it should produce. Since he is under contract with TNA (how long, Im not sure) so it's not really a topic until he's released or the contract end nears.

He was in WWE for a KII and actually got some time, if memory serves. It wasn't one of those 25 second squashes. I recall him getting longer time then most did. I don't think Strong would get a push (duh) but I'm salivating for another Gibson/Strong match, Strong/Benoit at some point would just rock. However, I'm still waiting for Gibson/Benoit first.

You know that if Wichita St makes the championship game Packer will just go "So what? Villanova, from a power conference won it all as an eight seed. Seventh seed? that doesn't impress me at all. They aren't a power team and even if they win this game, it doesn't matter because they aren't in a meaningful conference. The history books will agree with me on this. Tonight never happened, folks. "

If WWE was willing to be creative and smart, they could easily stretch this thing out another six months. They aren't creative, so it's pointless to consider what they could do when they aren't going to.

I can't say this enough, Cats aren't worth the time. What prompts anyone to own these miserable creatures? Dogs, have much more upside. -

That's not the point, HTQ is trying to make. He is saying the character of MAMA Benjamin doesn't do anything but accentuate the negative image that comes with America's image of professional wrestling. Instead of being creative or innovative for a change, they rely on using whatever cheap stereotype or negative persona they can to further the joke that they are. Knowing full well, that they have a fanbase that eats it up. Instead of using their national spotlight to do something different, they just present the image even more. Using the weak WWE apologetic excuse "everyone else does it" doesn't mean anything. Everybody loves Chris is done with quality writers and actors, it's designed to push those stereotypes. CSI (WWE's favorite reference point) uses instances of necrophila and whatnot to artistically tell a story. WWE uses those stereotypes and issues as a cheap way of using circumstances in a un-creative way. WWE, at it's best did this. It took characters slightly based off real stereotypes and was creative with it and found a quality niche. When things get desperate for Vince, he relies on the negative images that damage the perception of wrestling, in America. (Steroids, racism, bad acting and hick fans). -

Let's be honest, the fanbase that the WWE attracts and caters to, aren't the most sophisticated and educated. WWE, demands that it's not a carnival act and yet, they use low-brow comedy and try to pass these idiotic brainfarts as satire. -
No, it's stupid. Buy a porn. It has better acting and you'll get an actual pay-off.

Bret, still would have been ruined in WCW. Bret, likely would be on better terms to say the least with WWE (DVD treatment would have came sooner) Shawn and Bret, would still be mortal enemies (as Vince and Bret, aren't). Alot of re-hashed booking from the McMahons would never exist. The morals and truths of what should, could and would've happened in regards to Montreal, doesn't need to be discussed again, as it's been debated on every wrestling related forum since November 9th, 1997.
-
People, probably assume she's safe and she doesn't have that nutty fanbase like Kellie or Ace that will vote non-stop.
-
As significant as DX, Austin, and the NWO? Bret absolutely made Austin in their feud. Since Austin caused the boom, you have to say Bret was vital. As well as Bret's involvment in propeling the evil emperor image of Vince McMahon, which was without question, a major part of the era.

Notice that Katharine, always stands next to Seacrest when they go off the air?
-
Show highlights 1. Mandisa's performence 2. Katharine. EVERYTHING about her. 3. HANDS IN POCKET 4. Kellie's act
-
They want him. He's a good looking kid.
-
Bucky, will get sent packing but it should be Ace after THAT "performence"
-
Jesus, Kellie is brilliant. That, or she is in fact, high.
-
Is Elliot going for that "groomsman at a wedding three hours after heavy drinking and dancing" look?
-
Work with what you know, I guess.
