You know, I don't get the WWE marketing. They give away WM results for meaningless tv tapings in 2 months. -

Wait, it's been 40 minutes already? WHAT HAS HAPPNED? Oh, I had a local Smackdown taping announcment that advertised Mysterio Vs Orton....FOR THE WORLD TITLE IN A CAGE MATCH. -

I don't think any character has been bitched and buried like Kane, aside from Jericho and yet Kane is ALWAYS super over either way. More turns then Lex Luger and TBS combined. -

Alvarez went on a rant about that last week. Apparently, Jacobs isn't going bald and the company actually insists they cut his hair like that. He probably wears hats alot, in public. -

Is Kane ever going to shave the rest of his hair off? I want to see Kane re-grow his "fake" hair. -

Why should he? He got most of the offense Two hardcore matches at Mania? Thats a bit overkill. With a Ladder match and Casket match with no rules no less. And one would assume the title matches are basically no DQ You mean that Cena/HHH can't have a good match without shortcuts? I don't believe you. -

Awesome, a stupid tag match that we all want. I can't believe that I am saying this, but gimmie back HHH/HBK instead. -

Notice that Shane actually gets heat? They should be pushing ORTON like they do with boy wonder. Can't have that. -

What a waste of perfectly good confetti. -
I'm disapointed, really. They had an easy chance to go the dirty and cheap direction with Orton. Really sleaze him up and instead, they pulled back and made him even more generic then before. Angle hasn't even been involved in this thing and Rey, isn't maintaining that babyface support as much as he was 6 weeks ago.

Unlike Duff and Lohan, Bynes can actually act. She needs to get better material then retreads.

There are alot of idiots who didn't like last night's espisode because they can't stand symbolism and just want pure story, jokes and whackings. I thought it was a great show, upon second viewing it made even more sense and thus, was much more effective.

3/20: Coughing Up Some Bad Movies
Hawk 34 commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
Here is a funny thing about Nascar...over 50% of it's drivers are from California, not the southern region. It's top star, Jeff Gordon is a GQ Magazine/talk show regular. It's not all hillbillies anymore. I actually did a woman's bracket with a few friends last year, just to show off how easy and predicatable the Women's version is. I was almost perfect. That's the reason besides the lackluster play, nameless stars that no one cares about the tournament. It's ALWAYS Tennesse, Duke or UCONN. -
3/19: Registering Political Correctness

What is pathetic is that ESPN/FOX still treats that he accomplished something by finishing poorly but neglecting the fact that he actually had a solid career in Craftsman Racing where his performence should indicate that he has the ability to perform better then what he did today. They treat his performence like it was incredible by finishing 3 laps down and actually celebrated that he "finished" the race. At least, Patrick actually showed up at the Indy 500 and warranted the attention. Lester, finished 38th and 3 laps down. An otherwise irrlevant story, only garnered attention because he was black. Lester, was treated like a charity case. "Oh, hey! at least you finished the race! Sure, three laps down...but you didn't wreck, so kudos". I heard people call him a trend-setter. How? because he qualified for the race? I'm going to wait until he shows something that matters and that's during the race. He is good in Craftsman and should be acknowledged for that, not treated like a footnote to create some sense of history in qualifying and finishing poorly. -

Baseball, suffers from the same problem. Despite their every intention, MLB is still about Barry and steroids and it's all negative. Like the NBA with Jordan, MLB focused alot on the home run chase aspect of McGwire, Sosa and Bonds and look where it took them. MLB, is doing fine but it does have a image problem that it's going to take time and that IT player to get it back on track. NFL promoted the league and not just a singular player, the NBA tried to do that after Jordan, but realized that nobody can duplicate Jordan. NFL and NASCAR are the only two groups who make their industry bigger and make their stars bigger simultaneously. They recycle excellently as well, NFL lost Elway, Rice, Marino and were able to shift right into the Manning, T.O/MOSS/Johnson, Brady era. NASCAR lost Earnhardt, Waltrip and Wallace and as Gordon's popularity declined...they had a new batch of superstars ready to step up with Stewart, Earnhardt Jr, Busch, Johnson and many others. NASCAR also adapted, made new marketing designs and changed the format to draw more attention without directly compromising itself. It knows what works, they enforce the rules more strictly with actual damaging punishment. NBA is still struggling to re-create the formula it used with Magic/Bird and Jordan. Hoping that LeBron/Wade/'Melo can be that new trio but it hasn't been. They hoped Kobe/Garnett/Duncan could and it didn't. They suffered a massive image diaster with Ron Artest and the brawl. NBA has a better chance of rebounding (pardon the pun) then the NHL, will ever have at regaining it's status as a top american sport.

Pearl Harbor. A event like that deserved something better then a made-up cheesy love-triangle. -
Don Cheadle in talks to play Miles Davis??
Hawk 34 replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Television & Film
I'm kind of tired of these musical bio-pics. I'm sure Cheadle could pull it off, it's just bad timing right now.
