Well, it has got everyone talking. Heck, they might even shift a few more replay buys. Except anyone who would know something strange went down at the PPV would simply check the promo out online for free and save their money. I think the Joe promo combined with the buzz around the women's title match and Kong's post match massacre probably will give turning point a higher than average replay buy number. Some people don't neccessary want to wait a couple of days for it all to show up online. Why would anyone shell out $30 for a promo, one match, that's not getting MOTY buzz, and a post-match attack? One great promo, one incredibly heated match (if only average from an wrestling POV) and one of the best heel performances I've seen from any wrestler ever. Actually it wasn't a great promo by any means. A promo sells something. Joe was just a pissy childish rant.

You can't really get to Nash. He has his money and he's always openly admited that he doesn't care what people think of his legacy. Just don't shit on his friends.

Exactly. Just have Nash with the stick (he'll be professional since he won't bury his friend) and he'd say "I dunno where Scott is, but we got a young guy who would love to take advantage, Eric Young, get down here". Young was a misfire as well. The only people following TNA that would be aware of the ramifications of Joe's promo would already seen the promo and no woman's match will inspire someone to drop cash down for a replay.

It wasn't even strange. It was textbook shit that keeps TNA the #2 promotion (and losing ground at that as well).

The best part was Nash's "Oh, fuck off" reaction and Angle's confusion. Giving the microphone to Joe was a mistake.

Maybe Kennedy can do a idiotic "shoot" when Hall gets "food poisoning".

I found it comical that Booker, whom has been in TNA for less then a month was trying to rally the troops. Where does Low-Ki go? I guess NOAH but he isn't getting back to ROH and WWE isn't going to bother.

Henry aligned with Striker last week.

I really enjoyed this show. Everything Laz said about the ladder match was pretty spot on and I really dug how they cut out the promo (it'll be on the DVD) because the PPV's are designed for a different audience and leaving at that precise moment of Jay getting strung up was perfect. That's something TNA struggles with in a big way, knowing how to present and close moments. I wasn't all that enthralled by the first two matches of the series but I've never been a Cross fan and I'm not sad to see him out of ROH. I'm a mark for Heel Davey and Roderick is just a brutal asskicking machine quite often. This was my first real favorable match of Stevens. Nigel is probably my favorite current wrestler right now but I'll agree that he didn't really fit in during the 4 Way. That match was the Hero and Claudio show but they usually steal the spotlight all the time so it's nothing new. Marufuji was really wasted here, I felt. I don't know what else to say about Bryan Danielson. Talk about a guy that was 25 years too late.

This wasn't pretty. I think I only get 4 wins this week.

Quite the finish in Arizona.

The season was fun but now we're stuck with a shitty title game and a bunch of uninteresting BCS Bowl games. We could have still had a fun season and had a 4/8 team playoff that would create good matchups and eliminate questions.

This is what it's like when you have a really good college basketball regular season and the tournament produces a bunch of #5 seeds and a couple lackuster #2's in the E8.

Because at the time, Punk was a OVW only talent and got alot of heat for doing the show and also had 2 weeks of vauge hype. Now, Punk is a WWE main eventer with a big push. It's one thing if they saw Sydal and wondered if he'd do the same thing but another for Punk.

I don't think it'll pick up any EMMYs other a nod for Sutherland but I do know that it's been one of the very throughly entertaining new shows of the season.
