Don't need to look any further then WMX7 for proof. I think they'll do a screw finish without Montreal being invoked. I'll call for Shawn hitting McMahon with the SCM, though.

The wording of the article on Matt at wwe.com, leads to suggest that they'll have Matt miss the show. Leaves the door open for a Lashley return or CM Punk jumping in (Punk being a champ and former partner of HHH and Jeff would justify it enough) and thus allowing a chance to start something for Punk post-Morrison/Miz.

Fed to Orton? Even though Kennedy put him out of action. Given Mark Henry's apparent burial on Smackdown, what are the chances of moving him to RAW and putting him in feud with HHH. WWE tends to ignore that sort of stuff, aside from some notable exceptions. Henry is possible but so is BDV. Same with Finlay.

Congress to Hold Steroid Hearings Next Session
Hawk 34 replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
Congress could request Angle to appear. I would imagine Angle would be the biggest name outside of Vince McMahon involved. -
Kennedy and HHH brawling out of the match, allowing someone else to survive is the better route to take. HHH can go without jobing (which is of the utmost importance) and it does HHH his in between program. The downside? It's Kennedy.

Congress to Hold Steroid Hearings Next Session

I still really hope Mysterio appears to congress wearing his mask. -
Yes. The factor of quality and durability as always will be uncertain.

If it was your team youd be just as pissed off as I am when the refs ignore the rules and just give the win to the Browns. They ignored things in favor of Baltimore as well. Baltimore should have kept Cleveland from scoring that FG, anyways.

Like that matters. Phillip Rivers (in all of his awfulness) had a better game than Peyton Manning last week. Does it make any difference? No. Rivers and Peyton aren't connected in the eyes of media and fans. Rivers and Eli? Yes. Mario will unfortunately always be compared to Reggie despite playing entirely different positions.

The reason they do that is so the Capital One/Outback/Gator/Cotton Bowls don't get stuck with a 4th or worse place team. They usually want to assure those bowls that they'll get quality teams. Also, the points Edwin made are valid as well.

There's usually a few decent streams although the bigger the show, the more the demand, thus the less the working streams. Many bars don't "advertise" that they'll show wrestling anymore but generally BW3 will be showing it. I have driven past BW3's during UFC nights and the place would be crammed full but sunday nights has significantly smaller crowds. It really depends on demand.

Maybe you're not a very memorable guy?

Congress to Hold Steroid Hearings Next Session
Hawk 34 replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
What? No, wrong. Curt Hennig, The Wall, and Crash Holly were all working for TNA every week when they ODed. This is true and TNA will try to pin that those talents spent years working in WWE (well, not Wall) and that led them to a destructive lifestyle. -
Congress to Hold Steroid Hearings Next Session
Hawk 34 replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd imagine WWE/TNA would want their best speakers to be up there. Congress would likely be more interested in guys like Mysterio (wonder if he'll try to wear his mask) and Edge since they are big names and been caught in the busts. Chavo, since he was so close to the deaths of Benoit and Eddie. Guys like HHH haven't failed a test nor been named probably wouldn't warrant attention. TNA would probably have Jarrett and Dixie as reps. -

Angle and Cena, of the wrestlers that will probably get invited to speak will attract the most attention. Who else would probably be asked to speak/appear? -

Kennedy has already done that. -
Glad to see they chopped off NYR. That show was always horrible. Also, glad MSG will host another Rumble. The last one was probably the best show top to bottom.

There's a thread on this, somewhere on the second page. It is a good light show.

Ridiculous new rules for wrestling in Georgia
Hawk 34 replied to Jingus's topic in General Wrestling
There's no excuse not to have EMT's anyways. -
How do you loose a game? Anyways, the debate was if a pair of two lost teams could advance to the national title game. Unfortunately, Lloyd Carr's team failed to keep OSU away and no matter what, we'll see a 1 loss team in the title game.

Review: WWF Survivor Series 1995, from Landover, MD, 11/19/1995.
Hawk 34 commented on a blog entry in LFC Blog
This was a favorite of mine too. There's no excuse to not revisit the wild-card match. It's weird that in a black and white period like 1995, they did that but in the "shades of grey" era WWE was and I guess, to some extent still are, didn't bring it back. They easily could have done it this year. Did Nash ever have a good match with someone not named Bret, Shawn, Owen or Razor? -
Which two-loss teams are going to finish ahead of 11-1 Ohio State in the BCS standings? Oh, yeah. That's right. Fuckin' Buckeyes. Always a thorn.
-
He still has the "former champions get rematch" clause (He could easily argue that he lost his match) If they intend to go with the Edge-Vickie deal with Edge using Vickie, it makes sense as for why Vickie goes along. It's stupid but it's hardly a improbable concept. There's no need for it anyways. Edge returns and takes them both out to send his message that he's back and wants his title. UT still gets the win. Boom, start building for WM.

I think we're gonna see a couple 2 loss teams play for the national title. It's the only way for this season to go.
