This is just for kicks and isn't a prediction for the actual Mania 22 card.
I will try to stay within the confines of the current WWE landscape as best as possible
World Title
2/3 Falls/No Time Limit
The Undertaker Vs Kurt Angle ©
US Title
Four Way Elimination
Randy Orton Vs Chris Benoit Vs Booker T © Vs Rey Mysterio
*I would have Randy Orton put the title shot on the line at SNME against Rey again, with Benoit giving Booker T, his title re-match via the clause. Rey, who continues to whine about Orton cheating, gets a verbal slap from Benoit for embarassing Eddie by acting like a child who didn't get his way.
Rey faces Orton first, Booker T still owes Orton a favor, so he comes out to help Randy secure his title shot but Benoit comes out and stops that and in the process Booker T accidently costs Orton the match. Mysterio is the new #1 contender.
Later that night, Orton comes out with the intent to screw Booker T out of winning the title but Rey comes to the rescue but he screws up and costs Benoit the match and Booker T re-won the title.
Meanwhile, Undertaker challenged Kurt Angle to a match on 3/3 Smackdown and Angle accepts. The match goes to a 30 minute draw. The match is another excellent match. There is another match @ SMNE, and this time Undertaker ups the ante and makes it a SUBMISSION match but Angle counters by making it non-title. This match is shorter but just as sweet but the finish sees a double pass-out as each men lock the other into a submission and no winner is declared.
Later that night, Teddy Long comes out just before the Raw main event of John Cena/Edge and makes two announcments.
A). Due to the circumstances of the rights to the #1 contendership being out of control due to outside forces, either Randy Orton or Mysterio are the #1 contenders. Due to the issues between those four men, the new US champion will defend his title against Benoit, Orton and Mysterio in a 4 Way Elimination match at WrestleMania.
B). Due to two straight non-conclusive finishes between Angle and Undertaker, they will have 3rd and final re-match and it will be under 2/3 falls rules and there will be no time limit. *
WWE Tag Team Titles
Fatal Four Way
MnM Vs Brian Kendrick and Paul London Vs Mexi-Cools Vs JBL and William Regal
*MnM defeat Hardy and Tatanka on the 2/24 smackdown and toss them aside but Kendrick/London defeat Mexi-Cools that night to earn a #1 contendership spot for WM. However, the next week...JBL and Regal, two bitter stiff and pissed off bastards unite as a team and they defeat Kendrick and London.
The next week, JBL and Regal are doing commentary to watch MnM face Mexi-Cools in a non-title match where they get involved and in the process, Mexi-Cools get a pinfall over MnM. The situation is that MnM are the champs but LnK won the "rights" already but JBL and Regal beat them but Mexi-Cools beat MnM. So there is no clear cut #1 contender. So MnM is forced to face all three teams in a fatal four way.
Cruiserweight Title
Gregory Helms Vs Jamie Knoble
*Helms comes out on Smackdown and beats Nunzio in short but effective match and post-match, he cuts a promo saying that he beat everyone the WWE had to offer on Sunday and proved it again tonight and that there was no-one left for him to beat. Out comes Jamie Knoble. He quickly points out that he has not be pinned in singles action since he returned to the WWE. A brief brawl ensues.
The next week, they air a promo from Jamie Knoble sitting on the front porch of his childhood trailer park in W. Virginia. Knoble cuts a straight-forward and honest promo about his "upbringing" from the humble home of the trailer park. That he didn't have anything handed down to him but what he did have was saturday mornings and he would watch wrestling and he watched Dynamite Kid, Bret Hart, Dean Melenko and Chris Benoit and studied them and learned as much as he could.
He talks about fighting to survive and that when arrived in WWE, he was made. That he had done his family proud but he got greedy and selfish and forgot what got him to the WWE to begin with. He lost his fire and he left the WWE to rediscover it.
They cut to video of Knoble working at a factory plant in W.Virginia, driving in his pick-up truck. Knoble says he had to rediscover his struggle because he forgot where he came from. He isn't ashamed to say he came from the trailer park, he isn't ashamed to say he had to work his 9 to 5 to get by to support his family, but he was ashamed he let the greed of being a WWE superstar get to him. This time, he knows what his purpose is. That is to be a champion, he can be proud of and someone his family and all those hard-working people can look up to and go "He's one of us but he made it".
Helms continues to cut arrogant promos and mocking Knoble's upbringing. *
WWE Title
John Cena Vs Triple H
*Triple H, wins the 3-way dance on 2/20 over TBS and RVD. Triple H blows off his angle with TBS at SNME but they really elevate that program for Mania that night. It's your traditional HHH storyline and your traditional Cena storyline meshed together for an uninteresting mess.
IC Title
Ladder Match
Shelton Benjamin Vs RVD
*Benjamin goes over Flair to take the IC title, and they build up this match based off the premise of who is the "WWE's best pure athelete". RVD, who loves a ladder match challenges Benjamin, who made the highligh reels a year ago for his athletic display in the MITB ladder match. *
Retirement Match
Vince McMahon Vs Shawn
*You can't avoid it now*
Falls Count Anywhere
Mick Foley Vs Edge
*Insert standard Foley storyline, sprinkle some Lita=whore jokes and a dash of "I was screwed!" Edge and do your usual Foley match with mass brawls, stunts and hot finish and people will clamor and give this match high praise*
World Tag Titles
The Big Show and Kane Vs Carlito and Masters
*Yes, they already fought but keep pushing that each team aren't getting along and it'll be about "which team will crack first" and it can be short*
