I don't think anyone can be bothered to boo Cena anymore. What's the point? Nobody is listening. The reaction he gets when he comes out is feeble, considering he's the top guy and champion for nearly a year. The boos actually made his entrance sound more interesting, now he hasn't even got that, it's so dull.

that was 10 times more entertaining than a Cena stand-up routine though.

I'd rather watch Big Daddy V in his new outfit than another LAUGH A MINUTE cena promo.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

Maybe that's a really bad pic, but if that came knocking on my door I sure as shit wouldn't hit it. My girlfriend doesn't look as manly, and his name's Trevor. -

That's not the sexy pic i had imagined. In fact... looks kinda transexual. post op, of course. -
Who do you want to win the WWE Championship Match at SummerSlam?
billdynamite replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
Posted this in general discussion and then noticed this thread... So i'll stick it here. Ok this is how i see it. All of Cena's opponents, barring Edge over the past year have been these "unbeatable" monsters (Khali, Umaga, Lashley - who JR referred to as unbeatable or indestructable or whatever). I think they could build Orton, even though he may be as thick as a whale omelette in real life, as the smarter guy. Cena can fight, but Orton can out think him. If Orton is made out to be this sick, sadistic heel that will do anything for the win, and uses his brain to out-wit the "better" fighter in Cena, it could be really interesting for me. give Orton the strap at SummerSlam by somehow outsmarting Cena. Because we can't really buy that Orton is a better wrestler since he's been jobbed out so many times and Cena has beaten countless "unbeatable" opponents, so there has to be a different way to buy into Orton. I think if Orton can keep outsmarting him, and screwing him over as champion, i don't think people will get on Cena's back as much as they do because 1) he wouldn't be the champ, 2) he wouldn't be unbeatable because he'd be FLAWED and 3) he'd be chasing a guy that the crowd (if booked correctly, since Orton is a natural heel) legit hate. That's basically how I'd do it. -

Bonnie Hammer submitting ideas to Vince
billdynamite replied to Atticus Chaos's topic in The WWE Folder
Vince doesn't listen to anyone in his own company, so if the ratings are crap he can always just pretend he doesn't care because it's his company and his show. But now the network is getting involved he'll have to listen, he may be the boss of WWE but he isn't the boss of the channel. I think a bit of pressure from above might spark something into action. I don't think it can get much worse than it is at the moment to be honest. I'm all for change. -
"Yahoo" made me chuckle. Had something Owen Hart about it.

Cena wins clean via Super-FU.

I may have defended Khali in the past, i take it back, this guy is terrible. EDIT: Khali retains.
-
and now for the slowest match in history, the 3 way dance for the world title.
-
Jeff winning would have blown the roof off. Umaga winning kinda killed it.
-
the crowd are really getting into this Hardy match. they're lapping it up.

ah jeez.

What would it take to make you interested in the WWE again
billdynamite replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
Of all the bad things i say about Cena, i do think if he just had some kind of character to him and could cut his own promos, i wouldn't be so harsh on him. I mean, i don't know what he's supposed to be. He isn't a rapper anymore, since he doesn't rap, so why does he have the spinner belt? The Marine has been and gone, so he's not a Marine anymore. I don't see what it is about him i'm supposed to support and get behind. He NEVER BACKS DOWN and NEVER QUITS! To be honest, neither does my mother in a fight, i've seen her... But i don't think she should be cutting weak promos every week. My point is thus... If Cena and the rest of the bland characters were just given the chance to cut their own promos and build people like that, instead of just have Cena beat the next unstoppable monster every month, i could be interested again. (Calling Lashley indestructable is ridiculous since he was beaten by McMahon, his son and a special needs fatty). And i'm not suggesting they should be hotshotting the title every week, but I miss the days of tuning into Raw thinking ANYTHING could happen tonight. Also, i remember watching Raw religiously during the McMahon/Helmsley Era, just to see someone topple HHH. But I know Cena isn't losing the World Title on Raw. It seems the weekly shows are just a building tool for the bland PPVs instead of actually being a wrestling show in their own right. -
It was a shitty promo, but blame the scriptwriters, not Cena. So the writers say "Hey John, great idea me and Bill had... How about you fake cry during your promo..." "That's a great idea, guy, I'll do it!" Come on, Cena and everybody else should know it's terrible, he's a big enough name to say "That's crap, are you kidding me?". I will blame Cena, because if Austin did it, it would be funny... If Angle did it, it would be funny, if Rocky did it, it would be funny. Cena isn't funny. So it sucked. So i WILL blame Cena.
-
damn, i turned Raw off early and i missed a horribly bad Cena promo... wait, he does those every week. EDIT: holy crap, just saw it. "Johnathan Coachman, that was the worst question in history.", Jonathan Cena, that was the worst promo in history. Mean Gene would have pissed himself more than he did with Patera. Did he really have to start crying? I'd like to hear Hawk and the rest of the Cena-Man-Crush-Gang try and say it was a great promo.

If that were the case why would anyone ever buy a wrestling dvd? You know who wins already. I don't think we're all rushing to the shops to buy the DVD with Cena/Umaga on it. The thing with the Cena supporters on this board is they elevate anything Cena does. If he has a decent match, it's a great match. If he does a drop toe hold in a match he's fucking Dean Malenko. It's ridiculous looking at it from the outside.

Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.
billdynamite replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
Vince off TV for 2 years? sounds great, keep it going but without any mention of a mcmahon ever. -
Cena/Umaga was nothing. So many guys are searching for good things to say about Cena to rationalize them watching week after week. the truth is, the match wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Cena was in no danger of losing, so why would anyone care? We knew Cena would win, so where's the drama? the only time i get excited by a Cena match is the possibility of some light at the end of the tunnel and that he might lose. That's what you're supposed to feel for a heel champion, not the most pushed face in the company.

And don't mock the yanks too much. We take the piss out of the French more than anyone. Mock the french? NEVER. A fine race.

Americans laughing at the French Army is always funny. It's nice to see the Americans can take time away from blowing themselves up in friendly fire to make photoshop magazine covers.

And neither of them were bald.

on a serious note, was Stephanie stepping out of that limo supposed to get some kind of reaction from the crowd? it was more anti-climatic than "i did it for da Rock"
