I hate to say it... But I'm interested in Khali. That match with HBK was decent, nothing wrong with it. Khali took a mean chair shot, didn't fuck Shawn up on the table bump. It all looked fine. The guy is massive, he looked legit impossible to beat. I buy the chop too, that hand looks like a sledgehammer. He has to be champion. If he destroys everybody, and Cena just beats him, well then Cena literally is Superman, he just needs a cape. Cena trying to do the impossible and try to win his title back is the only way to go for me. Khali is money. I'm aware this has probably been said before, but i wanted to share my thoughts since I'm a guy who used to watch it religiously and now only watch when I'm interested.

We got this PPV free in the UK. Me and a few guys are tuning in. We're pretty hyped about it. Our predictions on the winner changes every day and the 24/7 shows have us seriously hyped about it. this should be pretty decent. I'm rooting for Oscar, because Floyd needs to be knocked down a peg or two.

I caught quite a bit of Raw this week, and although I have nothing against Orton, he shouldn't win the title because he simply isn't over. I know i've questioned Cena's overness in the past, but the guy is majorly over and gets a huge reaction, i think he'd get a ridiculously huge reaction if he was CHASING the title. Edge is a great heel and will always get heat (if he was a chicken shit heel champ, and kept ducking Cena, the crowd would eat that shit up). HBK still gets a good reaction (i really prefer him as a cocky heel, shame he bashes the bible). But the crowd always seem flat around Orton. I don't think they care about him one way or another. He hasn't really been made to look like a legit title threat, he's just sort of... been there, in the middle of it all and been dragged in. There was really no reason to give him a #1 contenders match, that didn't make any sense to me. He was only in the Cena/HBK/Edge mix because he and Edge were "buddies" a little while ago. If Orton is gonna be champ, he needs a decent built to look like a threat because right now, nobody buys Orton.

Didn't HBK pick up Lawler's pencil and write something? Lawler read it and said "oh come on, Shawn." I was pretty tired, it was about 4am and a few days ago... But i still think it happened. Then they were in the corner and the sound went crappy while HBK "trash talked" to Cena. I thought they might be just calling a spot coming up but i thought because shawn wrote something he might be injured... But he seemed fine. So i assume it was something else, I'd like to get to the bottom of it. Or am i reading too much into this?

I watched the rumble with a buddy who's not a wrestling fan (Rumble '98 was his last event), and it was interesting to see his reactions. Firstly he was very impressed with Melina and thought Jeff Hardy was "slow as shit" since he last saw him. he thought Lashley/Test was "a pile of shit", which i agreed with. He said Lashley has nothing but muscles, no charisma and he doesn't see why he should give a shit about these guys. I suggested maybe he should watch ECW if he wanted to give a shit, and "not a chance in hell" was the the impression i got from him. He didn't get why I liked Kennedy, but after watching Batista roam around the ring at a snails pace, he changed his tune and was cheering for Kennedy along with the crowd. We were disappointed. All night, including the pre-show, he couldn't stop laughing whenever Umaga came on screen doing his little jig. He doesn't get why this Samoan guy is being portrayed as an animal when last time he checked Samoans were human. He thought the character is ridiculous and didn't buy him winning the match for a second, but who did? He didn't understand why this guy had face-paint and didn't know if it was meant to be a tattoo or not. I didn't actually know the answer. I got the impression he felt his intelligence was insulted. The rumble match was pretty standard stuff. He got a kick out of Sandman's elimination because he didn't know who the hell he was, why he has an elaborate entrance, why he's opening cans of beer like Stone Cold and smashing everyone with a stick. We both knew straight away when Sabu set the table up it was his dumb ass going through it. He was impressed with Khali for about 10 seconds. "Wow that guy is massive!" turned into "can he do anything other than that damn headbutt?" and then "why are they going at him one at a time." and when Taker eliminated him "Wow that guy can't do anything." When it came down to Taker/HBK, even though i pretty much knew Taker was a LOCK for the win, i was pulling for HBK (i was praying for a surprise) while my buddy went for Taker. I was disappointed. So was the crowd by the sounds of things. Overall i didn't think it was a bad PPV.
