match of the year? all 7 days of it? possibly.
-
looking at all the blood at the spanish announcer position, i'd say there was a train wreck. they called it right "it looks like there was an assassination over there."
-
they way his leg twisted looks like ligament damage.
-
Orton is bleeding bad, i have no idea whats going on. Pedigree on Edge on the commentary table, didnt break. HBK flying elbow from the turnbuckle to Orton on the other announce table.
-
oh man... Trips has hurt his knee and this is one fucked up improv finish.
-
oh, HHH looks legit hurt? or is this bullshit?
-
It looked like when that guy from the Rockers leg dropped him on the apron that guy from the Rockers doesn't have the hair he used to eh.
-
Randy has more blood on his tampon, but blood is blood. HBK cut with a belt shot i believe.
-
I don't see how Orton got cut, so it could be hardway. HHH is selling the leg.
-
crowd have died again and is Randy cut?
-
MOTN so far. the only time of the night the crowd has given a shit.
-
Also, its about time Victoria is booked as a legit bad ass (of the women's division). It works (for me at least). and i would definately introduce Mickie to someone i call... Voyager.
-
Trump. He's no Alan Sugar.
-
I'm watching too... but only because I'm English. The crowd are mailing in their reactions. Maybe because the show is kinda dull. I HATE it when they do boston crabs or whatever and don't even bother to make it look painfull. OH MY GOD he's laying down and his knees are slightly bent! C'mon guys, put a little back into it.
-
no way is the chick on the right 15. nope. no way.
-
It's free, so I'll give it a go. by the way, does anybody know when us in England will have to PAY for these? i mean all of them, not Rumble, Mania etc...
-
Wait, it's December 2006? Damn... I've been watching Raw and thinking i was reliving the 90s... but a worse version. Gotta cut back on the sauce eh.

his hand looked open to me, and it sounded like a slap. -
1. Kurt Angle 2. Roddy Piper 3. Big Show 4. Samu/Jamal/Umaga 5. Tenta - everyone else has gone for him, i dont want to miss the boat on this one. 6. Vince McMahon 7. Psycho Sid 8. Dennis Stamp, because he's not booked. 9. Jake Roberts, because he probably will be booked. 10. Terry Funk, because I want ya to be there, man. You wanna referee me and Bret?

"Ok, after your rant, I need to point out a few things to you. 1. The percentage of wrestlers who use the words "Sports Entertainment" are about 50/50. Some have come to terms with the WWE verison of pro wrestling and some wrestlers just flat out refuse to use that term. Just about every wrestler working with the WWE pretty much has to use that term so they can stay under the radar. 2. I'm in the wrestling buisness and I really, REALLY think I'm not going to die at 40 and I don't think my head is going to end up as a chessegrader and if it comes to the point where I'm working for the WWE in some kind of fashion and I'm making good enough money to support myself and my family, then your damn right I'm going to start using the term Sport Entertainer or sports entertainment if I have to." No offence to you, mate. I respect the shit out of anybody who steps into the ring. I know I'm just too much of a pussy to do it. but if i WAS in the business i wouldn't want to be put into the same bracket as juggler or a magician.

that was pathetic. it was a terrible rhyme, and he only slapped him. funny though. -
I would like to get this off my chest... Everytime a WRESTLER says "sports entertainment" or "i'm the best sports entertainer in the world", it straight up offends the crap out of me. I can't stand that phrase and i'm amazed that the wrestlers, especially the old school guys, still use it instead of "wrestling" which in most cases would make more sense and sound more legit. If there's anything that exposes the business, its that. fans can look past Kane walking in the arena with a suit, a smile and a frappucino but saying on live television "sports entertainment" is another way of saying "this is a soap opera. we are actors." But i've never been a wrestler and nor would i ever want to be unless I wanted to die aged 40 or have a forehead like a cheese-grater. I think if i WAS in the business, if i was an old legend who had busted his ass night after night for over 20 years getting beaten and bloodied, and someone a few years later is telling you "you're not a wrestler anymore, you're an 'entertainer', you make movies." i'd punch them in the face. and so, even though i've been a WWF/E (s)mark for all my life (apart from watching Nitro on a friday night on TNT) the thing that makes me want to watch TNA instead is because they call themselves TNA WRESTLING, and they call it WRESTLING on screen. uhm... rant over. thank you for your time.

yeah i already said this in the spoilers thread, since we in England get Smackdown earlier than you peeps in the US, that the tag main event was very enjoyable and i can't help but buy into Finley being a legit bad-ass.
-
By the way, i would just like to add, that i called the "pouncing" of rumble participants by Brown in the raw thread... kinda.
-
keep this... If CM Punk wins the Royal Rumble 2007 i will post a video of me in the spirit squad get-up giving a cheer to whoever predicted it. I'd love to see it (not now obviously) but it SO isn't gonna happen.
