I can say the same thing about Raw. DX vs.McMAHONs taking up too much time and Edge vs. Cena. Nobody else have a direction either. Or how about the internet darling show Smackdown. Oh how awesome is the Fit Finlay matches is blah,blah,blah. That show have no direction what so ever. Rey is a champion-loser who just found out his opponent for the ppv. Give TNA two hours everyweek you will get matches better than Finlay/Booker/Lashley/Rey matches without the boring atmosphere. And how about ECW. No need to diss that crap. They change direction every week. By your standards you don't like nothing on tv.

I don't see nothing drastic changing since TNA is still small and having a hard time to get people to buy their ppvs. Their buyrates is down from last year according to Meltzer which is surprising. Joe winning the title might spark a fire. MTV thing will be interesting and may present wrestling in a way we never seen before but it's only 30 minutes long broken down into seasons. MAV TV is only in 45 cities and I don't know if they reach the major cities? TNT wrestling is basically a TNA show was going to promote TNA house shows and Adrenaline Unleashed wants to be TNA.

Both of his WCW runs was not good. I think like the Undertaker and Bret Hart to a certain degree his flaws was cover up in the WWF and he was booked to the best of his abilities.

I wouldn't give Cornette any control. His ideas and philosophy will not translate well for a national televised promotion. Why you say that? I thought he was on the WWF booking team in 96 and 97 as one of the head guys.

Well, I heard that Terry Taylor is the guy who bought the NWO concept to Bischoff. I heard Bret Hart and Bulldog had a chance of becoming the third member instead of Hogan. I doubt it would of had the same impact. I remember watching this ppv LIVE on scramble ppv(those were the days) and the picture was damn near clear for the whole show. Even when they played the replay on Tuesday, it was clear and you can see everything.

I think JJ and Mantell is the head people on the creative staff. With D'Amore(was the lead like for 3 months),Tenay and Borash adding on stuff. Banks use to be on the team. If I was Dixie I would give Cornette 100% control.

According to Mike Johnson MTV has decided to pick up the Wrestling Society X project. All of the wrestlers still envolved were told that their contracts are going to be optioned. Big Vision Intertainment is hopeful that MTV will sign on for at least 3 seasons.

But TNA is suppose to be the alternative? Now they telling wrestlers to cut their hair for a gimmick change even though it will probably be pointless in the long run. You said a hair cut don't matter but does it really matter for them to keep their hair long? Shouldn't the most important thing is for a wrestler to feel comfortable. Andy Douglass had a past problem with TNA about a UWF show. TNA is now forcing wrestlers to work those lame shows. TNA say they one thing but act no different from WWE.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that at the June 23rd Ring of Honor live event in Detroit, Michigan Sabu had a private meeting with Scott D’Amore. Sabu spoke to Scott D’Amore regarding his future with WWE and a possible return to TNA Wrestling. Sabu led many to believe that his time in WWE was coming to an end and he would like to return to TNA Wrestling. Sabu is looking for excuses to leave now. He don't give a damn anymore.

Don't forget that the MTV thing debuting at the end of the summer will probably love these two just based off this story.

I would not even put the title on Joe this year. I feel like TNA is rushing things with Joe. Joe has not struggle yet, he's been doing everything with ease. Have Joe get pinned in tag matches first to at least make it seem like Joe has a chance of losing. Winning the title this soon just seems so predictable and rush. Besides, JJ vs. Joe for the title is better and bigger than Joe vs. Sting. 1.JJ is TNA number 1 heel which means more HEAT, 2. This been a dream match since 2004 when Joe was ROH champion and JJ was NWA champion, every smark and indy fan wanted too see Joe kick his ass. 3.JJ is still capable of having a damn near classic match if he's in the ring with the right opponent like Joe, Sting cannot. As for TNA, I think they should stay away from 2 HOURS. 2 hours means lots of filler stuff and longer James Gang/3d promos. I think TNA would be better serve if they keep Impact at one hour and add another show(Global Impact or Xplosion) on the weekends. They should follow the Raw/Action Zone format WWE had going for awhile. Have Impact as the storyline development show and Xplosion as the show with nothing but matches that was develop from Impact. WWE don't have a show with nothing but matches,now that's a true ALTERNATIVE. Impact can be move to 10 pm and have the replay come on at midnight that same night. Xplosion can come on at 11am and 11pm on Saturdays. I think TNA should make Bound For Glory/Impact a package deal for the people in Plymouth. Do the ppv and two Impact tapings on Sunday and Monday.

Two must matches: Sting vs. Sabu because it's a dream match JJ vs. Raven because Raven needs a revenge win If Sabu work the WWE show then a Sting vs.Raven vs.JJ match is good enough. Lynn vs.Styles is a must as well. I would also try to do Joe vs. Tanaka.

I never seen any of the Shotgun Saturday Night shows before they move to Arena's. The only thing I remember seeing was footage of Ahmed PRP on the top of the car and that's it. Since we probably can't post footage of it on the net, does anybody have screenshots from the early days of Shotgun?

I guess that 2 hour,live every other week WGN deal don't look so bad now from a fan perspective unless you live in a city that don't get WGN. Hopefully when the TUF season is over, TNA will get that extra hour. TNA is just not capable of putting on a good 1 hour show on a consistent basis. I believe a two hour weekly TNA show would cover up most of their flaws.

No wonder there was no follow up. 2500 people? TNA drew more than that at their houseshow. It was probably a poor promoted event or people did not care about wrestling at that time. I'm sure if they did another one it would draw more people depending on the promoters. I remember reading that a lucha show drew over 5000 people in 2004, forgot the name of the promotion.

What is the history and results around this event?

I wonder if the same thing can be pull off today? TNA,New Japan and CMLL have a working agreement. Add Ring of Honor and PWG to the mix we would get a great super show.

I've only seen the Bulldog/Owen title match once when it happen and I still consider it the best match in Monday Night wrestling tv history. Don't know if it holds up to date and wish I had money to buy a copy. That match and the Austin/Bret Survivor Series match is like rare classics too me, I've only seen those matches once. WWE always ignore Austin vs Bret part 1 and 3 and only remembers part 2(Mania). I just seen the flag match from Raw a couple of weeks ago. Great match and still holds up well. Oddly enough, Cactus Jack vs. HHH streetight does not hold up well. I was watching this match a week ago and it was boring. I think the Funk vs. Foley match from Raw is more entertaining. I never understood why WWE put the title back on Sid when Bret and Austin was the two hottest stars and was the selling point of the ppv?

Not as interesting as your other lists. There is so many things I disagree with you about the list. HHH/Angle, Benoit/Angle,Rock/Jericho. These feuds is not really memorable too me to be that high on the list. I know they produce good matches but the storylines/drama behind it was not as strong.
