Then we can have a post-Awards bitch thread. Which one because both were good. Angle been in alot of great matches. Not really. "Alot of great matches", is applicable for KENTA, Danielson, Marufuji, McGuinness, Joe and some others. Angle, is more "had some good matches and a vastly over rated match" year. You have to take in account that mostly no one saw those matches these guys had except the guys who love to spend money on ROH or NOAH. I did see the Danielson vs. McGuinness match where Danielson beat the crap out of him with elbows, I think it was the unified match. BEST MATCH THIS YEAR. I've only seen two Ring of Honor matches this year.

Ask Kane Knight about GODSON and all the hatred will comeback. Same goes for 411mania,TNA website and DVDR(who secretly banned me because I had strong opinions and the moderators never agree with me).

I personally think most TNA fans think alike. Not just the Impact Zone or internet fans but the people who went to BFG,Mexico,ECW arena, or the other UWF shows.

Storm and Harris is going to be the LAX of 2007 and become big stars out of nowhere. Storm will become the biggest heel in the company. TNA will sign RVD and push him to the moon(I hate RVD). Angle will be champion. Joe might become champion. JJ and Mantell will push Russo out of TNA for the third time when they realize Jarrett will not get the World title under Russo.

There is a lot of typos. Did he forget that Dish Network did not carry Turning Point? That's at least 5-10,000 buys. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You write for your audience. To defend the fans in the Impact Zone, they will crap on an angle if they don't like it like the Bikini stuff or the Baseball segment. They just don't cheer for anything. He did not mention the UWF shows or Bound For Glory,the fans react just like the Impact Zone.

I'm still trying to figure out why people like that promo. I seen it LIVE and about a hundred times over and over again. Maybe it some kind of insiders thing but people always mention this.

Cheesala, do you have the famous Sabu,Funk and Douglas triangle match? Do you have any footage of the Douglas throwing away the NWA title?

I'll see what I can do, but I'm not too confident. That 98 match is that 8 man tag right? Yeah, I've basically found every match on the internet that I wanted too see but this match.

PWI reported a long time ago that Russo thought TNA was moving to 2 hours for good and he was writing 2 hours shows. Now he got to edit all those shows down to 1 hour. As for the whole VKM debate, it's a undercard/midcard angle and the best use of James Gang in awhile. As far as I concern, am cool with them not wrestling.

Don West actually put a smile on people faces. He looks like a guy having fun and is at least likeable. Nothing about Jeremy Borash is likeable. I don't know if I totally agree. Nash is entertaining and is one of the most popular wrestlers in TNA who is love by all type of fans. Konnan is the same thing and neither do Nash or Konnan wrestle. When Steiner was there he was great. Jarrett is TNA, it's no way around that,more people associate JJ with TNA than WCW. DDP been gone for awhile. Sting is the only guy that is not entertaining and he's not that offensive. Give you that one but WWE is doing the same thing. WWE just have better presentation to hide the fact. Agree but it does not make them look minor league. Look at the last sentence on the page. Don West is great and is the best announcer in sports entertainment. Mike Tenay is HORRIBLE. Agree, they need to go back to NWA:TNA Funny but at least Russo was the HEAD creative guy for a number 1 promotion. Cornette is the definition of minor leagues,good and bad. Agree to a certain extent, there are guys who stands out from the rest. That's a result of the problems,not the cause. I can at least think of something positive out that list but not with Borash. Doing your top show in a studio,giving out free tickets and using cheap props is what makes Impact and TNA in general look minor league.

he embodies the minor league feel to the show Of all the things that make TNA look minor league, Jeremy Borash is way down on the list. I want to see this list.

There's three great newsbites from this thread. 1. TNA got their two biggest buyrates back to back. 2. Abyss finally has a backstory that will be exposed. I never understood his character or where he came from. They finally add another dynamic to his character. 3.Borash is OUT. Borash is worst than all the divas. I'm glad he's gone.

I thought it was just me. Well, I'm really thinking that I don't want to pay just to see Joe vs. Angle. I have a feeling that most of the undercard is going to be lackluster to say the least. Afterall, I'm sure Joe vs. Angle will be up on youtube soon anyway. I'm going to download it at midnight or tomorrow,the WHOLE ppv.

I don't remember Smackdown or Thunder being heavily affected by Thursday nights especially when Friends,Survivor,etc. was on during their peak. Besides that hospital show on ABC, nothing on Thursday nights at 9 is on Friends or early Survivor level. You can't compare TNA ratings to any tv show. In it's genre, TNA is at the bottom. That's what people in the office is looking at. Anything wrestling,fighting or sports related.

The drawing board: The World Champion Sting, he is a legend but his dvd flop. He only wrestle once a month and that's including house shows.$500,000 X division- Styles always have the best match on the ppv, Samoa Joe is the biggest thing since slice bread and Homicide is the reason why LAX click in the ring.Plus, every X division related dvd makes the top 10 including the new one. TNA should just make the whole company into a X division company.

TNA would have problems booking him for two reasons: 1.There's nobody close to his size and he would make Abyss look small. 2.The creative team(mainly Mantell and Jarrett) like to go far with booking and will probably put him in the main event his first ppv.

I always felt like TNA was kind of forcing a push of Brown because he was "their guy," not because the crowd was really into him. You guys is crazy, the crowd love Brown. They accepted him and his style. Just watch Final Resolution 2005. Brown was one of the few TNA guys who can get over as a face and heel(the fans actually boo him as a heel). He was getting better and better each time,just watch his last TNA match and he outshine Joe and Rhino in their triple threat match. Sapp is a water down version of Brown and without the Japs, he's a 6'5" guy who will have problems getting over. The fans would not take him seriously. Brown had a natural charisma that made him likeable. They should of did that with Phi Delta Slam. Funny looking fat white guys who think they cool by partying with college students.

From 95 through early 98, me and my family used to have cable for a few months, then go back to not having cable for a month or two. So during the non cable months, I used to watch Superstars,Worldwide and Shotgun Saturday Night. All three shows did a good job of pleasing my wrestling fix. When I did have cable, I watch all the shows. WCW Pro Saturday mornings, Buddy Lee Parker,Bobby Eaton,Jannetty and Barry H. was regulars on this show. Then a hour later, I would turn to Livewire. It used to be a great show because it was like a one hour version of Raw minus the crap parts. Then at 6:05, I will turn to TBS. The greatest show ever, the matches they deliver was awesome. On Sunday's, Main Event would get me ready for Monday Nights. On my local cable access, I used to watch this show called wrestling power ( http://home.comcast.net/~wrespowr/main.htm ) It help me discover Puro wrestling,ECW and other indies.
