True he'd get cheered. Even in his best heel promos I've seen on youtube, he's cheered, he's just too damn good. Just hope he gets promoted to another brand quickly enough so that the ECW title doesn't become so uninteresting as the RAW one (at this moment).

If there was a big enough roster, I'd book him an arrogant heel. A role he's proven to be able to deliver much better than a generic non-gimmick face, who's always winning. As the roster is too small and he needs to be face, at least use some variety in his matches. I'm tired of always seeing the same finish - "a GTS out of nowhere!". Let him use Anaconda Vice (if Pepsi Plunge is too risky for WWE), make him lose some TV matches (not only PPV ones, where he has to lose for now so that the title gets at least some kind of credibility). All in all, don't turn him into the ECW variant of Cena, if he's not already. The only difference (booking-wise) between them is that is Punk's on top of ECW and that he'll get promoted to SD/RAW, while Cena's on top of the whole company.

I don't really think WWE are in good terms with Hogan now The ME scene is fine... for now. Once Punk gets the title, get ready for the ECW (and not in the "extreme" meaning) variant of Cena. These "out of nowhere GTS"-es really remind too much of "out of nowhere FU"-s. I hate the way they're booking Punk, even if we set aside the fact Punk is a face.

Why are they fighting? WWE title anyone? No offense to you, neither to ROH, but fighting over a prize (which would be the WWE Title in this case) is much more believable and, probably, mainstream, than fighting for respect.

Not really. An arrogant and cocky "70's guy" is much better than "that guy from MNM". The name is generic, but is a reference to The Doors' lead singer.

They could pair him with Eugene and make them Superheroes tagt-team. But that would ruin his "Itsa Me" gimmick were all planning for him. He could receive that gimmick after heel turning on Eugene.

I also was surprised when Santino won the title. I mean, he really looked like one of the local jobbers and somewhat I didn't expect Lashley to interfere. Very well done job here, they got the element of surprise for sure. Nitro winning the title was also a shocker. It's sooner, so it must be the winner, but probably the ECW belt was so meaningless (and still is to some extent) that I didn't care enough to be shocked. While the unbeatable monster being beaten by a "local jobber" was a shock.

It's crystal clear he'll be a face. If he's leaving his beloved RAW brand, going after Edge, he'll surely be the opposite disposition to him.

Actually, watching Lea for a short time now, I can't see her doing THAT memorable job on being face. I'd prefer Beth as a face and Lea as an arrogant bitch (which is her gimmick now), but if the heel is needed to be Melina's puppet, then yes, Lea isn't the most appropriate choice. As for Cody, he definitely has that it factor that drives fans crazy. He, by far, is the most over face in OVW, which is surprising given his physics. I don't like the guy's promos, I haven't seem him wrestle much (1-2 matches), but he sure gets the pops.

Yea, that's what I was thinking, I also didn't agree with that decision. That's what most of the people think and, actually, it makes sense.
