Awesome. 2-0 and in the top 10!

It was a fine speech. I'm very interested in the debates now. When is the first head to head debate between McCain and Obama?
-
Great speech so far...everyone aboard the McCain Train.

Not the way I wanted to start the season, but I am still optimistic for the rest of the year. We need to get alot better on offense to hang in the SEC.

The only protest I have with the rankings is that Tennessee, not Arizona State, is my team. Other than that, woo-hoo for the upset!
-
It was much better then I thought it would be. Thirded.

Thank God it's football season. I can't wait until Monday night so Tennessee can get some revenge on the Pac-10 by humiliating UCLA.

I enjoyed the movie. I didn't like it as much as Knocked Up, Superbad, or even Walk Hard, but I laughed throughout. It seems like one of those movies that will grow on you with repeated viewings though so I'll probably see it again or get the DVD.

Weekend estimates are out, and TDK is number 1 for the 3rd weekend in a row. It just missed the 3rd weekend record. 1. The Dark Knight $43,800,000 2. The Mummy 3 $42,450,000 I wouldn't be surprised if TDK's number went up a little though. They have underestimated TDK Sundays for 2 weeks in a row now.

Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009
Canadian Brandon replied to Matt Young's topic in Video Games
I'm game...I just don't know if there are enough people no here to have a dynasty though. -
Yeah...somebody should start one of those. I just assumed no one here played PS3 online much.
-
I say turn HHH face and build a big HHH-Jeff Hardy feud for Mania. Or if they no longer have faith in Jeff, a HHH-Kennedy feud. And Batista should be heel.

Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009

You guys with 360s suck. Does anybody here play online on PS3? I have NCAA 09 and will probably be getting Madden. My ID is canadianbrandon. -
Ok here is a question... I know that my local ABC station has gone digital and is broadcasting HDTV signals on channel 7.1. I have an HDTV. How would I go about picking up this signal? Do I need one of those huge HD antennas? Can I pick them up straight from my tv?

Weekend boxoffice report July 25-27
Canadian Brandon replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Really? I thought it was hilarious. I laughed throughout the movie. It was a little on the long side, but easily the funniest stupid movie since Walk Hard. What I couldn't believe was that my theater was sold out for it's 7:30 show. I got tickets to the 9:30 and by the looks of it, it was sold out as well. I don't seeing it having legs with Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder coming out soon, but it was good enough to check out. As for Batman, I can see it making another 45 million or so next weekend. I think Mummy is in line for about 50-60 million next week. The trailer looks good and apparently Brendan Fraiser can still sell tickets if you look at the Journey to the Center of the Earth numbers. While we're at it, my predictions for next weekends box office: 1. Mummy 3- 58 million. 2. The Dark Knight- 45 million. 3. Step Brothers- 14 Million. 4. Swing Vote- 12 Million X-files my break Meet Dave's recently acquired record for most theater drops next weekend also. -

Masters of Horror I really enjoy this series. There are a few gems in these mini-movies.

Oh yeah...drafts. Anyways how many picks do I need to make up? 2? Ok... time for some childhood cartoons. Doug The Nick version, not the shitty Disney version. I own every episode on dvd and I watch them regularly.
-
And to go even further with that, I would say that with HD and surround sound now, there are alot of people that would rather buy the dvd/blu-ray copy of the movie and just avoid the crowds/high price of theaters. With HD and surround, they can almost emulate the theater experience.

I think $500 Million is the ceiling for this movie. Titanic had teenage girls going to see it 10-15 times. Even the craziest of all the crazy bat fans out there won't be doing that for TDK. You also have to remember that Titanic had almost NO completion during it's box office run. Bats has plenty of comp with a few decent looking R rated comedies and The Mummy 3(which I think will knock TDK from it's number one spot). I would be happier than anyone if TDK could sink Titanic, but it doesn't look likely.
