The Undisputed Championship was named so because it was the WCW and WWF titles unified...Remember this was reprsented by Chris Jericho carrying both belts for his entire reign....obviously the WWE Undisputed Title was later shown as One Belt but technically it represented two...when Brock Lesnar left for SmackDown! exclusiveness...the WWE Undisputed Title was now Disputed and Bischoff showed this by resurrecting the WCW World Title and rechristening it...HHH became the Word Heavyweight Champion which for some reason I've never heard it stated as the WWF/E World Heavyweight Championship...just simply World Heavyweight Championship and Brock Continued as WWE Champion along w/ the lineage of the WWE Title and Undisputed Portion of the Title
I think that makes sense...doesnt it?
The First WWF house show I went to back in 93 or 94...whenever they were feuding....Lex Lugar vs Crush was the main event and it was a Stretcher Match
It's reaching but that's the closest I can think of
I picked up a copy of the Florida-Times Union today...One Night Stand had a nice visible insert on the front page and a nice spread in the Weekend section....They seemed to put the event over pretty well for those that still wanna pick up remaining tickets....The only errors i saw were that Vince's finsihing move was call "you're fired!" and a picture of Khali giving Jeff Hardy the big boot incorrectly Labeled Jeff Hardy as Edge
I had totally forgot that WCW's last PPV ever was in Jacksonville too....Greed or Sin or whatever it was...was like a week before WWF bought WCW...it was at the old Coliseum though...
Good point. I just grabbed my tickets from last years GAB. It states...
which means while im standing in line waiting for them to open the doors...i have to listen to some idiot for 30 minutes displaying his wrestling knowledge to the folks that don't know any better....One guy stated that Vince was behind TNA and was going to use it as angle similar to the InVasion Storyline.....The Fucking doors couldnt open fast enough...
I think that instead of Cole it was actually Kevin Kelly. The audio made it hard for me to determine though.
i just watched it..it's Kevin Kelley, Michael Cole, and Jim Cornette
