Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009
Broward83 replied to Matt Young's topic in Video Games
Agent and Matt, I've sent out the invites..anyone else who wants in, make sure you set up the EA account so that I can send you an invite. I couldn't find a way to upload the rosters..so, if anyone knows how to do so, let me know, k? Edit: I killed the dynasty, loaded up the roster file I had and then re-created the dynasty as TSM NCAA.. so..hopfully this works. Edit 2: It worked. So..all the names for current players are up and in the dynasty. Edit 3: Fazzle is in as LSU. So that's one Big 12, one Big 10, one WAC and one SEC -

Matt: I was waiting til I got confirmation from everyone for the dynasty as you've gotta have send out all who you want in at one time (or so I think...) Huss: Awesome. Just let me know what team you want and I'll add ya. Agent: Bad ass. I think that's about it for the first year, I don't know if Next USC is on Live or not since he hasn't accepted my friend request or anything. I'll set up the dynasty when I get home from work tomorrow night (which should be around 9:30pm CST) -
..I totally thought we were getting PMs forwarning our picks... *sigh*
-
If I didn't absolutely suck at futbol games, I'd totally check this out from work and give it a go with you guys.. however, my abyssmal skill paired with my desire to not allow Man U to get trounced are keeping me from doing so.

Fazzle, you'll still more than likely make it for season 1 of the dynasty as I know a few people are either needing to create the EA Account or are having problems with XBL, so no worries. Pretty much everyone here should have me on their friends list, so when you get NCAA and activate your EA Account, either send me a PM or just respond in here that you're ready to go and if you haven't picked a team yet, go ahead and do so. VX, you can play as Boise all you want..just uh, don't count on Texas coming to play on that abomination you've got the audacity to call a "field". oh, who here is "chris h3ro" on XBL? -

alright, soo.... Apparently, for me to invite you guys, you've got to get an EA Account set up. I think when you log on to the EA servers within the game, it'll ask you to sign up for one or some shit like that. When you've done so, post in here so I can set up the dynasty. -

Alright, so I've decided that I'm not going to wait for the roster patch to drop out of the Heavens to start up the dynasty. I'm going to start working on setting it up right now and those that have shown interest I'll go ahead and put you in the game. So think of this as a last call for the dynasty. -
So I got a PM that its my turn to pick and with my pick I choose someone I feel is a solid mid-card guy and can be used have solid matches with the guys I've already got. Possibly the last Anderson left: CW Anderson

Alright, so anyone that wants in on the dynasty that hasn't sent me a friend request, please do so. Eh..I guess I'm just really waiting on either someone on here to have a roster file or one of the more "known" guys in the community to have one that isn't crashing the system before I go thru the process of starting up the dynasty. -
...so when did Jericho bring back the Liontamer?
-
Madd props, man. I've been lookin' for this match for a minute too. A minute? Did I grossly overlook something here? Its slang for a long while. "Damn son, where the fuck you been holdin it down at? I ain't seen yo ass in a minute..."

So, just got back from the show. (Went to IHOP after..waited too fuckin long for service and left then went to Denny's) The event was great. I had a blast seeing TNA live for the first time and the opening match was fucking sick. We we're all going crazy for the shit happening in the ring and felt that it definitely could've been MOTN. Main event..it was well..we had no clue what the fuck was going on, really. The whole "street team winner" shit.. well yeah, that part sucked. We were told to get there at 3:45 to 4pm. We get there a tad bit earlier than that and the guy basically tells us that the meet n greet would be at 5:30 and to just walk to the left when we entered. No VIP passes..no upgraded tickets. We got voucher's for "best available" seats which were I think the cheapest seats available and behind the boom cam (so a decent amount of the pictures I took have the boom cam in them).. After calling the contact with TNA, the guy who was there "Dan", came to us and asked us if we'd like to be in the LAX / Beer Money Inc match. (I assume because I called) We were all given LAX shirts and met with BG where he told us to beat the ever-loving shit out of Roode and Storm. We were taken backstage and met LAX and took a few photos with them and I was able to get Homicide's autograph as well as Booker T who was downing one of those five hour energy shot drinks. After that we met with Russo who had us do the promo with us beating on the manequins. After that, I saw Storm off to the side. Politely and calmly I walked over to him to tell him good luck tonight and to thank him for comin out to Houston. His reply: "You had better not hit me in the fucking head..I swear to god if you do I'll beat the fucking shit of you, hear me?" After that, we took our seats for the show. Overall, it was a mixed experience. I doubt I'll ever do any type of street team work for TNA again after this whole mess..

See, there are ways to be gung-ho over TNA as a Street Team that don't annoy the ever loving hell out of people. I mean my team, we just hit people up with the flyers and told 'em we're trying to let them know that TNA's got a PPV coming to Houston and what some of the key matches were. Didn't try to get them to scream their love for TNA or ask them a billion questions. I mean I think we asked a few if they watched and if so, who they enjoyed but we spent maybe less than a minute or so with most people. I agree with the regional touring idea as well...tour the Southeast US for a bit..get a core group of fans and then after that initial tour, host some of the 2nd tier PPV's in markets outside of their area to see what the fans will take to. The constantly staying in Orlando for every show kind of kills it for me.

With the O-Line situated, I'm going to grab another LB. Hardy Nickerson Career Stats Tackles 1,586 Sacks 21 Interceptions 12 Career Highlights and Awards 4x Pro Bowl selection (1993, 1996, 1997, 1999) NFL 1990s All-Decade Team

I checked it out from work. It was a fucking blast and if I had the extra money, I'd buy it. I love how streamlined it is and that I don't have to micromanage everything in any given city and can focus more of my time on either building my army or figuring out my tech tree. City walls are nothing when matched against a catapult army. Oh..and make sure you get navigation. I wound up finding Atlantis and the Knights Templar...the former gave me a ton of tech while the latter wound up giving me a tank.
-
...which in turn goes with the street team idea. They actually sent out a list of events that we should try to promote TNA at.

No excuse. Ritual sepuku. Edit: Oh.. and have you asked a random girl if you could bang her like a Taiko drum?

Flareon (Fuckin Charizard was taken..figured I'd go with my next fully evolved Fire favorite)

Naw, I've never been. There was always talk of taking a road-trip out to Orlando to catch a taping or two and do the other touristy things around the area but schedule conflicts always arose so I never got to get out there. I'm psyched about the World X Cup finals.. I hope they get a bit of time on the PPV and don't get cut short because of the 6-man.

Oh, definitely. They called today and told me they'd send me my ShopTNA gifts to me via FedEX which should get here around Tuesday according the FedEX. I'm bringing my camera so I'll be sure to upload the pictures somewhere and post a few here. Its going to be my first show at the AstroArena since Fall Brawl 93.
