Mugabe Militia Hacks, Burns Alive Opposition Leader's Wife
Broward83 replied to BX's topic in Current Events
What? No it's not. This kind of brutality is standard in many parts of Africa. Killings like this are literally a daily occurance. We only hear about this one and not the others because it happened to a major politician's wife. -
Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009
Broward83 replied to Matt Young's topic in Video Games
Played NCAA...plays alot faster than previous it seems. My first kick return, I ran it back for a TD on Ohio State. Ended up winning 14-7 as a pick 6 was the deciding factor. I love being able to slide the line to whatever side I'm running or rolling out towards. Overall, I'm loving it. -
I didn't see 'em taken so I'm going with another team to bolster my ranks and to compete with the likes of LonDrick and xXx... Kaz Hayashi and Yang the Jung Dragons

Clint Barton aka Ronin He's a good supplement character that with his weapon proficency and hand-to-hand combat, he's a good fit. There were a few other people I wanted to pick but I felt that their personalities would've over-rode Hal's.

Sorry for the late pick! With my selection, I choose another team to fill out my division and a duo I think we are quite lucky to get at this stage. So, without further adieu.. I give to you:

this is supposedly coming out on 360, right? If so.. I'll pick it up

Yesterday, Houston announced they reached an agreement with Rosevelt Colvin to be a situational pass-rusher to play opposite of Mario. I like the sound of it, but I know he's been injured lately so I'm a bit wary on if this will pan out or not.

In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power...Green Lantern's light! I'm glad he fell to me. I've always been a bit of a fan of the Green Lantern and I think he's a good base for my team.

...and Rocco has just fucked himself over. Tiger can lay it up onto the green and putt his way to victory.

Prestige just doesn't mean say only one or two or even three people in the year have held it. It means (to me at least) that the title is the highest glory for any and all workers in the promotion. I don't see Matt Hardy really trying to go after the title.. I don't see anyone save for the same generic upper-echelon of talent trying to gain the title. The spinner belt and I guess the non-spinner but still blinged out belt looks god-awful and hurts the over-all appeal of the belt. Why would I want to win a title that looks like it was created at some strip-mall jewlery store for someone to proclaim the push the most rock on the streets? By default we always give the nod to the WWE as far as its title meaning the most but I don't hold it that high anymore. I'd even give maybe the IWGP title a higher ranking over the Raw belt. (Which, is another thing I have a problem with. With two belts..it takes the luster and prestige from the other. With the presumed thought that Raw is better than Smackdown, why should I care about the Smackdown title over the Raw belt?) As an aside, when guys in RoH hold the title for a year, I don't hear many people complaining over it. In the E, everyone complains about "Superman Cena" or Triple H "HHHolding down" the talent. What's the big difference?

just got in from work and saw the pm. I'm in.

So, with my next pick.. I'm taking a guy that I loved in that enforcer type role as well as the bit of talent he had in the ring. Not a huge star but he can always stick up for Shane. "Primetime" Brian Lee

alright, with my re-pick (again, sorry for that) .. I choose the current NWA Champion: Adam Pearce
-
ah.. well, then give me a minute to pick a new person. Like I said earlier when it started, my lack of indy knowledge would hurt
-
For my next pick, I'm going with someone who I can feel is able to work with pretty much everybody on my roster and in doing so can force others to step up their own ring work. That and I felt that it was time we found ourselves a man we could look up to.. a man that could inspire..a man that we could call a hero. Chris Hero

One game in, and we're victorious! 16-10 win over San Jose. Defense came up big in the late stages to protect the six point lead after a field goal. Morty Horrowitz with a nod from a huge special teams role and Annie for some solid work in the secondary.
