There's also the stigma of playing in a AAA league and of not playing in a USA league that I've noticed keeps people from picking up solid talent. We've put out feelers to a few guys but get nothing in return. I'm going to scout out the D-leagues later tonight and see what I can find.

Yeah I'm late to this but whatever. I'm bored. 10439 van Schooten To rearrange the past

I'm jealous..I'd like for some random USA team to scout me..

Meh, being 25% German..I'm glad to hear that Germany's off to a strong start. I'd like to see them roll over the entire competition but I've got this feeling that when all is going well, they'll simply collapse like a Flan in a cupboard.

For our next selection, we continue to flesh out the singles competition with a man who has had his moves virtually raped from him...ladies and gentleman, the iNOVAtor of Offense: Nova.

So, with my final pick I'm going to go with a guy that while he's had a bit of an attitude issues (much like Maxwell), I think he could get it under control and gel with some of the guys on the team. So, with my final pick, I choose: Steve Francis aka Stevie Franchise

I liked Infinite Crisis, but WAS tremendously disappointed in how the storyline turned out, as they built it up to be one story and it turned out to be much different. All of the material leading up to the miniseries indicated that Infinite Crisis was basically going to be a damn-near GLOBAL war between the heroes and villains, with the villains finally getting sick of the heroes' shit (especially since the League went all fucking loopy for a while there by brainwashing villains) and banding together under a common cause. It was going to be this huge, massive battle royale. Then the miniseries began, and we found out, naw, it ain't about that shit, it's about Alex Luthor going crazy and trying to recreate the multiverse. It was good, just I didn't feel like the story we got was as interesting or compelling as the one we were sold on. But hey, Superboy - excuse me, SuperMAN Prime, is one of the best villains, IMO, of the last few years. The image of him ripping apart Teen Titans with his bare hands while screaming "You're RUINING me!!!!" was fantastic. Wait, what?!

Why the fuck would they change his name after already referring to him as Matt Sydal and refrencing his work around the globe? -

So we got out store copy of the MGS4 strategy guide. The highest emblem you can attain is: -
Nope, Fix-It is 360 and PS3 gets Scar Hulk. The Strat guide has it listed as so and when I booted up the copy I checked out, Fix-It was playable from the get go while I think I've got to beat the game in order to get Scar or whatever.

Nigel McGuinness Was thinking of taking a team but noticed that someone was picked so chose to go with this guy instead.
-
So I checked out Hulk today.. Yeah, Red Hulk is an immediate unlockable for those that got copies from Gamestop. Those of you that have rented or played and have thus saved Iron Man to your HD or memory card, you'll unlock Iron Man in a Hulkbuster character to play as. From what I can tell, they all play the same with no real difference between Fix-It (the 360 exclusive). Its kinda repetitive, but the sandbox aspect is pretty fun and destroying every building like the Baxter building or the Marvel building is nice.

I'll try to catch the latter over the former since I haven't enjoyed Battlefield since Vietnam.

To anyone who may have gone to a TNA ppv outside of Orlando: How available were tickets leading up to the night of the show? I'm thinking of going to Victory Road but am waiting to purchase tickets because I've heard of them simply handing tickets out or upgrading seats. Any answers would be appreciated.

So..I checked out Ninja Gaiden 2 today from work. Game is amazingly beautiful and fun to play. Even on the "path of the acolyte" aka easy, its still got a bit of a challenge as I just got smoked by Genshin. The claws so far have brought me the most enjoyment when obliterating fallen foes.

Only if Teddy Long comes back to manage and gets people to call in and vote him for manager of the year.

Eh, when I can find a suitable picture I'll try to throw it up but my next pick I'm deciding to round out my tag division more with a solid Japanese tag team: Jado and Gedo
-
...and he plans to win how? I thought I heard somewhere that it is well within the rights of the jail to release the tapes of inmates conversations..
-
I haven't voted yet, but I'd be down for something like this. Only thing that I know would hinder me is that since I'm not up on any of the comics or the universes, I really wouldn't know who to pick outside of who I personally like and might just wind up taking a spot away from someone that'd know more and really want in on this.

welp, anyone who's off from work or school and wants to hit up some Rock Band, I'll be playing. Can either do some of the tug of war or try to figure out how to get this TSM band off the ground.
