Its just insane when I've got to hear about how fucking marvelous and great he is, but when it comes time to really perform and prove all the slurping the media gives him, he doesn't do a fucking thing. His ONLY... ONLY Wolrd Cup goals came back in 02. That's it. I watch him play in MLS and in the friendlies / qualifiers / misc. CONCACAF or Gold Cup match and he busts ass and doesn't hold anything back. Once the flip switches to WC play, he all of a sudden gets gun-shy or tries to do too damned much and either badly misses the open goal or doesn't pass the ball to the open man for a goal. *sigh* I hate rooting for them only to have them lose in the first round. Add to the fact that its a once ever four year thing and it gets a bit tiring.

Is it wrong that I dislike...almost hate Donovan? Its like he's the Dirk Nowitski of the US National team. MLS games and random bullshit International game. Great player. Meaninful World Cup game? Ghost.

I kinda wish they'd have a lite-script that the WWE has. I mean, JR knows the ebb and flow of certain things.. but he doesn't know match endings so when something comes out of no where, he's actually surprised to see it. What killed me on the product was actually seeing West/Tenay reading from the damned script. That right there literally made me go: "Whelp, that's enough of this shit.." and not really go back to watching it week in and week out.

We lost 9-24 today. Their first TD was my bad, as I apparently dropped too far back into coverage to make a play on the ball. They put up 21 points in the 2nd half. Those points are more than likely a result of some of our guys that haven't been bothered to switch their training to "relaxed" to try and get their stamina back up. Also, playing "hard", burns more stamina and actually keeps you off the field more than it keeps you on. So, any of you that have low stam and the like, please switch your training to relaxed.

Well, we've played one official game and we lost. *shrug* (We, being the Dynamo) With us getting lumped into the group of death for the SuperLiga and we tied with Saprissa tonight. With a decent amount of our players "national" players for their respective countries, I know we're going to get hit hard thru-out the season as World Cup qualifying continues to be played. Losing Ngwenya is going to hurt us and I really wouldn't be surprised if we got bounced in the playoffs.

So with two outs, Cruz Jr. draws a walk from Hoffman. Bourn gets a single. Pence with an RBI single to tie the game. Berkman bombs a deep shot thru right-center to take a 3 run lead. Its these little spots that lull me into thinking the 'Stros will do something this year.

So seeing this DEA show start up right now, got me thinking about a show that used to be on USA (I think) maybe a decade or so ago. The premise was to take the top law officers, Army, Marines and the like then put them onto four teams. Team competitions would ensue, losing team would vote someone off. Later, they'd get to look over a few dossiers to replace their lost comrade but after awhile.. the teams would just play a man down until there was only two left. Anyone remember the title?

So I clicked the "tactics" link when viewing our team page and it brought me up to a list of defensive tactics. Anyone wanna further explain this or is this for my own personal tactics?

Damn. Was it the D just not showing up or was the offense just going thru the motions?

Yeah, we finally got it up on our reserve list a few days ago. It's listed at 89.99. I mean, I guess its a good combo if you're going to be playing both games and were a fan of the first Head Coach.

Yeah, and their QB is pretty solid, but he's 2:1 for TD/INT even though he's got a +50% completion rating. Maybe if we can get some of our secondary to focus more on the pass and those that can, sink some points into the "first step" or ball defender skill tree, we can bolster our defensive numbers thru picks and PD's. I'm setting Morgan to drop back into coverage and guess more for pass plays.. so.. *shrug*

Well, Red and I are brainstorming a defensive plan for our next game. If anyone who's looked at our opponent has any input on maybe guessing pass over run and what coverage we should switch to.. please.. please speak up.

Yeah, some are quite a bit high.. but some figure in your leveling up thru the extent they have you signed for and are giving you the money you'll need to train. I know that if I tried to do intense with my LB right now, I'd be going over my daily budget by 600 bucks.

Well, it looks like it was mainly myself and Red that got switched up so.. Red, if you want to go back to being the MLB and I'll slide out to LOLB, then that's cool. If you want to stay outside and everyone is cool with me playing MLB, then my next level up, I'll sink some points into vision and the Def. General skill. Yeah, if I knew I'd get slotted into the MLB spot, I would've gone ahead and put a point or two into the "defensive general" slot instead of focusing on the pass rusher options.
