I went to Marshall and still live in Huntington. We have had some AWESOME moments here. That 1999 Mac Championship game, the booing at the end when you see the fans walking back up the grass hill at the back of the end zone...well, that is because a guy that was standing on the grass slope slipped and slid to the bottom. A lot of fans so him going toward the field, so they went down there as well. We had four seconds left, and that could have cost us the game. Cops protecting the goalpost while the game was still in effect pepper-sprayed the people rushing the field, and even had to hit some of them with asps because they were getting physical. My seat for the game was third row of that endzone, and everyone in that section got some of the pepper spray. Some were booing the cops for spraying everyone, but most were booing the dumb fans that rushed the field with time on the clock, and the subsequent flag we were given.

Nikki said "our son" after beating up the goon in the elevator. I think her husband actually has the power, and the power is that he can take control over her. He will do anything to protect his son or watch over her, even making her sleep with Petrelli.

I would say Styles and Daniels will be moving up to the Main Event soon, at least soon after Joe wins the title. Perhaps a heel turn by one of them due to a lack of Main Event heels.

Maybe she didn't understand Slayer's layout on his post and thought she was clever as hell.

As soon as the music hit for Angle, I recognized it as an instrumental of "Lunatic Fringe."

Speculation and theory on my part. I should have mentioned that was just my 2 cents. I was just weighing in on what I thought would lead to the branches combining. They alluded to it a lot during the run of the series.

Nah, Josh is getting looked at as well. Michael will have the better numbers and Josh's branch will get absorbed by Michael's. That will probably be the finale this year.

Perhaps he was hoping to get a job somewhere else, but the best offer he got was at Dunder-Mifflin. Now, he is stuck with Kelly, when he may have been hoping for a better job somewhere else and an excuse to get away from her.

Angle should just call the Angle Slam "The Right Angle." And as far as "The Wrestling Machine," he can easily be called a new nickname. No harm done, and WWE is just protecting their legally owned trademarks.

I was waiting for the explanation that she was married to Josh. If you are near suicidal and have nothing to do for the next 10 minutes, re-read his post with that in mind. It would have been a sensible ending, as it would have been her mother-in-law, not her mother. And man...you couldn't make up shit like that. I imagine this guy to be like Patton Oswalt's character on Reno 911!

They should research the market and see which seasons have the highest demand. Release those seasons for sure, but release ALL seasons in order...just release those with low demand in a very limited quantity. That way, you can both capitalize on those that absolutely love the show and would buy every season, those that buy complete sets just so they will be complete, and hopefully, the sets that on limited release will sell out and maybe create a bigger demand for them. Textbook marketing.

I was managing/bouncing at a Wine & Martini Bar in Huntington, WV. The Detroit crowd came down here a few years back to set up shop. After 4 teens were murdered after the prom last year, things have settled down in this town. The feds have been here cleaning everything up. I have never been to Detroit.

Not gonna argue with the Conan DVD release. It is a pipedream that I figure will never come to fruition. However, how in blue hell can you say that the first 5 seasons of SNL are the only ones good enough for a DVD release? I would put several of the 90's seasons over the first 5 seasons in terms of quality. I liked the early SNL seasons, but come on!

LOL, I hope you're kidding and don't think that was what I was implying. The group that I was talking about were well-known drug dealers from Detroit. The locals---white, black, latino, whatever---didn't want these guys in the club either. We didn't want them in there, but we didn't purposefully try to keep them out. However, we DID card everyone, no matter of their race. This was just so we wouldn't get in trouble for letting underages in. When I typed "gangmember," it was because the guy was a gangmember. I just thought it was funny that he couldn't grasp the concept that any race could be racist toward another race. He thought it was simply against blacks.

And you think that elevators scrape the foundation when the get to the first floor? I would say they build the shaft several feet below how far the elevator is to go for maintenance issues and such. I would say 3-5 feet minimum.

After reading Spoontoaster's post, I change my stance on The Marine's chances. I still stick with it bringing in $15 mil, but I though the $23 million budget was all-inclusive. It will probably do well in overseas markets that are big on WWE, and it will most likely do good on DVD, but it will still lose money. With as much as this thing has been advertised, it has to be WAY over $30 million all-inclusive.

My black bouncer buddy was at the door with me. It wasn't like I called him for support. The guys pulled the same shit with every scenario. These were things we were accused of being racist for: -We closed the bar at 3:30 not because it is a state law, but because we were racist and didn't want the blacks in there that late. -We ran out of Hypnotiq one night, and a guy started yelling about how we hate blacks because we didn't have enough on stock. -We did pat downs on everyone, no matter what color their skin. Everyone hated it, but to the gangmembers, we were racist. My point of the entire post, which was bolded, was the guy asked how he could be racist when he himself was black. Does no one see why I posted that?

Yes, but wouldn't there conceivably be the same "failsafe" on the bottom as well? I'm sure it is possible for the failsafe to actually fail.
