It won't matter

I always go as people I know that have distinct characteristics about them that stand out. I study them for a bit to get their mannerisms down and show up to parties they would be at.

I know people that run theaters, and they simply do not make half of each ticket sold. MOST of their revenue comes from the food/arcades. I cannot convince you of this without proof, and I am not interested in it enough to search for it online. So trust me, it ain't half. As far as the movie's profits, I would say they will not be disappointed with 6.5 million at all. If I were guessing, it will probably make around 15 million while in the theaters.

Umm, theaters do not get half. That is why popcorn and candy is so expensive. Also, you realize that this weekend will not be the only profit the movie will be able to take in from theaters, right? 6.5 million is respectable if it is enough for 6th in the top 10. I bet it does more next week than TCM: The Beginning does next week.

When I used to be the manager/head bouncer at a nightclub, I ran into all kinds of dumb "racist" comments. I felt like getting out a Powerpoint Presentation with a pointer to educate this group of black guys who just didn't get it. You see, I live in Huntington, WV, and for the past 4 years, Detroit gang members have been trickling into town and setting up shop. They called it Moneytown. We had a big layoff on police, which made it easier for them to push crack and coke here. I had to deal with them on a nightly basis, and saw my share of gunfights while I was there. Our policy was to not let anyone in if they did not have a current ID. Could not be expired, and we checked thoroughly to make sure it was not fake and it was the patron's ID, not someone else's. Here is a conversation I had one night, and there were many like this every night. Jimbo was my second in command, my 6'3", 350 black friend that I had known for years. Me: "I need to see some ID." Gangmember: "I ain't got it on me, man. I'm 25." Me: "I still have to see an ID." Gangmember: "You don't think I look 25?" Me: "Sure, but so does my 16 year old cousin. That's why I need to see an ID to make sure." Gangmember: "Man that's fucked up. You a racist!!!" Me: "No, I turn away EVERYONE that doesn't have an ID." Gangmember: "You just racist, motherfucker!!!" Me: "Jimbo, am I racist?" Jimbo: "No." Gangmember: "Oh fuck you, you white motherfucker! You just a dumb ass white boy that's bein' racist against me." Me: "You're being racist, not me." Gangmember: "How can I be racist??? I'm black?!?!?"

On regular DVD formats, it would tke that many discs. But with HD-DVD and Blu-Ray making it possible to put an entire TV show season on one disc, that would make Conan come in around 7 discs with your guesstimate of 50 discs.

I was curious of they would ever release a set like this. I cannot fucking wait for the 90's. Now I wonder if a Conan O'Brien season boxset will ever get released? EDIT: That has nothing to do with the SNL boxset release. Those were two shows I thought would never get the complete boxset seasons release.

Nah, he killed himself, and I don't think it has been stated exactly what Jin knows of her betrayal. You could take that line several different ways, which is why it was stated that way. Jin probably looks at her plotting with Sayid and leaving him out of the loop as betrayal.

Perhaps it is the Lost fan in me, but I have been theorizing their connections. Seems to me that it will turn out that their parents were connected in SOME way and that is where the genetics research will come into play. Perhaps the cheerleader's father killed her real parents and is setting her up with a a fake set. I am thinking he is Sylar and wants to wipe out everyone else that has powers so he can be the only one and thus cannot be stopped.

Yeah, saw that yesterday. I was into the show, too. It wasn't a superb show like Lost or some of my other favorites, but I hate to start something and not get the end of the story.

I was halfway kidding about Christian. I said that because no matter what theories we put forth that could be easily explained, we are usually way off because the show is so hard to figure out. My "theory" was what I posted first, and joked about how off base it could be after that. And the patient might resemble Tom/Mr. Friendly, but trust me, that ain't M. C. Gainey! M. C. has distinguishable characteristics like his cheekbones and mole on his left cheek. That guy is not him.

I got the feeling that the plane coming down was a huge shock to the Others when it happened. Ben thought quickly and, like a good leader, came up with a quick plan to have Ethan and Goodwin in place as moles and told them he wanted a list in 3 days. Now, that tells me that they had no idea who was on that plane, and they wanted to find out as much as they could about the passengers. Between that point and where we are now, they have gathered quite a bit of intelligence, as seen from the file on Jack. However, what if they extracted the factual info from Jack while he was in captivity? They have pages that he can't see, start shooting off a few odd facts that makes him realize they know stuff no one else on the island has been told, and when he asks his question about his wife, the answer is one that he could not possibly check for factuality. OR.... Christian gave them the info and he is not really dead. Hard to tell with this show.

Tom/Mr. Friendly/Zeke was nowhere in any of Jack's flashback scenes.

For me, the line of the night was when Dwight was telling Michael about the background check results. Dwight, talking like he has some juicy insider info: "So I called my friend at the station, to have him do a background check on Josh!" Michael: "And???" Dwight: "He wasn't volunteering today." Michael walks off disgusted.

I never knew Gheyme was FBTG. I thought FBTG was just a slightly below mediocre poster that trained as a wrestler in OVW until he started talking about the underage girl.

I could make an Eric Bischoff return work on paper: Coach was Bischoff's right-hand man forever on Raw. McMahon fired Bischoff and waited around forever to have an official replacement for him. McMahon was super-busy with Shawn and eventually DX, so he hired Coachman as his assistant to take care of the day to day nuances of the position. DX injures both McMahons, leaving Coach temporarily in power. Coach would rather work for his old friend Bischoff than Vince, so Coach brings Eric back, and gives him a contract stating he can't be fired for some time or he gets a large severance package. Coach hands over all power in the process.

No, I wanted to catch it and forgot to put it on the DVR. Hopefully I can catch a rerun and get into the show.

Pretty sure it was implied that Heyman brought in Holly. In that case, what we saw on TV was a short explanation for us viewers, but he has no doubt told Holly that his first job was to take out Van Dam.
