And that is one of thousands of reasons I mark out for him. And also, I am not fooled by Silver King's stocky physique.

It wasn't an interstate. It is a four-lane highway that is patrolled heavily by state, county and local cops. The speed limit is a strict 55 through there, and I have heard people complain at being pulled over at 57 mph before. The road connects to Huntington, WV by a bridge over the Ohio River, and ass soon as you cross the bridge, it is widely known the speed trap is in effect. They typically pull over more out of state licenses than Ohio drivers. Due to this road being a major road to connect Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, there are loads and loads of tickets given out. It is also clearly marked "Speed Limit 55 Strictly Enforced" every other mile or so.

Was this the kid who knew "nothing" about wrestling? No, I'm 99.9% sure that is someone else. That kid who knew nothing about wrestling asking Hogan all those questions was hilarious. Anyone have a link to this story? I forgot about it.

They want to represent all eras and that would include John Cena, whom they want to be presented as Hogan/Rock level star. The problem was, they didn't have much to choose from and selecting Cena/Christian/Jericho is really awkward. Cena/JBL from JD05 would have served better in putting Cena over. Cena/HHH from Wrestlemania would have been the best choice if they wanted Cena to look like a Hogan/Rock level star as the match had Hogan/Rock'a Jabroni heat. Not to mention that Cena went over CLEAN. No. No it did not.

I didn't witness the events surrounding Souled Out 2000 at the time, but wasn't that a very similar situation to this, as well as the political turmoil between Russo/Sullivan/Radicals? Hart and Jarrett were each taken from the show via concussions (Bret's from Goldberg's kick and waiting to get a check-up and Jarrett's from Russo's brain-fart of letting Jarrett work 3 matches in one night including a cage with Snuka). The main event was basically the remaining halfs of the two main events (Sid/Hart and Benoit/Jarrett). Since Benoit/Jarrett was supposed to be a Triple Threat Theatre (3 Matches, 3 stipulations), they turned it into Kidman vs The Revolution (Melenko, Wall and Saturn). Then you throw in the Russo and Radicalz bullshit. Nothing can touch this mess. Let's not forget the first match of the Triple Threat Theater, Kidman vs. Malenko (no ropes?) where if anyone touched the floor they lost. About two minutes in, Malenko rolled out to regroup...and the match was over.

Should have had Austin vs. Dude Love, for one.

Brock is keeping that beautiful belt? That sucks. I like Brock, but that is a dick move. This almost sounds like a worked shoot where Lesnar will show back up and claim to be the real champion, starting a feud. I know it is not, but it sounds like one.

Vyce, this isn't the old "Mork from Ork" Robin williams we are talking aqbout. He has done more serious, chilling movie roles in recent years. He was ready to play Joker in '89 and is a big fan of the comics and the role of Joker. I think he understands that it won't be over the top. The only thing I can't argue about is that he is indeed too hefty right now.

Wrestlers with extreme heat and where and why it started?..

Not saying this is what Owen would have done or anything, but if I were in the situation, I would definitely stiff Shawn a little by stretching him a bit and hitting harder clotheslines and such. Call it unprofessional, but what Shawn did was even more unprofessional. Also, you can't discount that Shawn may have thought Owen would legitemately submit him or choke him out in order to get him back. It would have been a possibility. Knowing how Owen was, though, I think it never would have happened. He made the decision to come back to the WWF, and in doing so I think he was going to be a total professional. -
I think Paul Bettany is a fine choice, as well as Lachey Hulme, who says he is a HUGE fan from the comics. Robin Williams is dying to do the part, as he was approached to do the 89 film. But you know who has a good face for it? Hugo Weaving.

Took me a minute to realize that wasn't Michael Jackson.

Have Doane and Jeter blame it on the other three and move away from the group. Perhaps they could get the same manager but have solo careers. The other 3 could defend the tag titles for a handful of wins, then drop them. Mitch can be gone forever, Mike Mondo and Nemeth could re-debut after tweaking their characters. Mondo goes to the Cruiser division, and Nemeth is a career tag guy.

Almost everyone with a brain on here has pitched that idea. Well, I meant "the idea that I just posted." I am aware of the fact that we have discussed it before (me included), but I added more to it. I was just saying it is better than dropping a character and introducing a new character played by the same wrestler.
-
Yeah, but which character would be better starting off? My idea, where you can trace back all the people that cared for him and helped him, giving potential Hassan-like backlash from most of the roster? Or yours, where we introduce his brother/cousin Nick, who happens to not be retarded?

Eugene is easy to fix. They can copy "The Ringer" (Vince loves to use others' ideas) and have Eugene pretending this entire time just to make it as a wrestler and get notoriety and money. The cameras could catch him acting normal backstage for just a couple of seconds every so often. Have him revert to his true persona around a hot girl or something. Finally, he goes full heel when he is found out, and cuts a promo on how he fooled the simple minded fans, all of the sap "good guy" wrestlers that defended him. All of a sudden, you could have a slimy low-life character that has pissed off main event faces, low card faces, the women in WWE, and the marks. If you think of how despicable a person would have to be to fake being retarded for his entire life just to get sympathy...that's pretty bad. I would say it would take someone pretty intelligent, as well. Hell, have the WWE give him a storyline huge contract because he sells a lot of merchandise or is a fan favorite, and then do the turn right after that. The character would finally be able to let down his guard because he got the big payoff he wanted.

I want at least one match involving trampolines on PPV before the break-up or at least the actual break-up. Tell me a face turn---by them saying they are dropping the silly cheers but keeping the athletic moves they learned to do with the trampoline---and a trampoline match against Benjamin and Nitro wouldn't rocket two of these guys up like the No Mercy Ladder match between E&C/Hardyz.

We can never say thanks enough for you relaying this info to us, HTQ. I appreciate it.

Finlay and/or Regal might have had a chance in their primes, and especially in the earlier UFC days. Regal especially since he was trained in the carny stuff. Anyone who was a hooker would have a legit chance, due to their experience of takedowns, submissions, and holds. Anyone who says a superior athlete could not do well in UFC after training for it are putting these MMA fighters on a pedestal. They are not gods or superhuman; you can train to do what they do. The guys that have notoriety and exposure are just super fucking good at what they do. I have much respect for them, but you CAN train to fight like them.

Kinda on topic...anyone know where I can download episodes of "Twin Peaks?" I have heard so much about that show, and it will never be released in full on DVD, I have heard. Full eps are not on youtube.

I looked up Donnie B on obsessedwithwrestling.com and couldn't find him. Seems like I have heard the name before. Who is his twin that is in the WWE? EDIT---Nevermind, I found it. It's Nova's twin.

Please elaborate. I am not agreeing/disagreeing, I just want to know which wrestlers you are talking about.

I am now kicking myself for not going to the arena to watch the ECW sgow last night, as it is a possibility that was the last we will see of RVD and/or Sabu in WWE/ECW. I live in Huntington (where the show was last night) and I can tell you first-hand that they should have known better than to speed along Rt. 52 in Ohio. Huntington is right on the river that is the WV/OH border. As soon as you cross the bridge to Ohio, it is a speed trap for anyone not having an Ohio license plate. State, County, and Local police patrol the area with an iron fist, and I am sure this is not the first trip down that road, as shows are constantly going to Columbus or Cincy after a stop in Huntington. I am sure word travels well in the locker room when they are in an area where there is heavy patrolling on a road they will be travelling on. I do much lighter travelling for my job, and co-workers are constantly warning each other of areas where you should not speed. I am sure the WWE is no different.

I take it none of you guys are privy to Lex and Terry? Greatest of all time!

You know what might beat Spiderman numbers? Superman vs. Batman, or a Justice League movie with all the right villains.

No, it was dropped. Edit---This was about the GL movie.
