It's that time of year again folks. Wrestlemania is the culmination of WWE's year-long build. Last year they pushed the draft back a couple of months, but there are typically debuts, new pushes, the draft lottery, etc. right after Wrestlemania. So give a rundown of whatever you want (wrestler's, draft lottery, titleholders, etc.) that you think we'll see for the upcoming year. I'll post mine in a few.

I thought it was 6-0.

Even if a chandelier in the gym bathroom WAS necessary... Why have the gym bathroom chandelier that low????

They won the belts the same day I made this thread. I had no idea they were gonna face Show and Kane for the belts that night. I haven't checked, but I don't think anything else I predicted came true. I'll check later.

It went something like that: That last one was where he Trebek showed an object, not asking a question. Trebek: I'm going to show you an object and you tell me what it is. Connery: It's a man with a mustache. Trebek: No. Mr. Connery....I'm not the object. I haven't even shown it to you yet. *Trebek pulls out a hammer* *Goldblum rings in and takes forever describing how in "ye olden days" criminals were placed on the device to be tortured* Trebek: You means the stocks, or a pillary. Goldblum: Yes! Trebek: It's a frickin' hammer!!! Connery: Now you listen to me Trebek! You wouldn't have known that if you didn't have those cards! I'm telling you the man reads from cards!!! That was from the awesome Jeff Goldblum, Minnie Driver, and Sean Connery episode. Among the great lines was: Trebek: You drink water out of *this.* Connery: A leather glove!

The best performances of this decade
Dandy replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Television & Film
I might update with a picture later for the bonus points, but here is my pick: TONY SHALHOUB as ADRIAN MONK in "MONK" (USA NETWORK) Adrian Monk is brilliantly played by Shalhoub, who gave a very good performance on "Wings" as a background character. Shalhoub brings the good acting skills, and is the main reason the show is a success. He plays the character flawlessly, showing an ever-present sadness and fear. Monk is a tortured soul, knowing that he never solved his wife's murder, as well as having to live with his phobias. He has a brilliant mind, but at the same time, his mind makes his life a living hell. Attention to detail is another plus for Shalhoub, as you can pick up on some subtleties in his performance each show that get better with repeat viewings. -
Well played. Also, fuck your shit face, clut. But don't forget shitfuck your right in the shit.

So Test went back in time when he was in high school? Cool.
-
So I won, then....right?
-
Oh, I never said he would do this........I said "I would like to see."

Well, we have seen the quality of programming fall over the years, along with the ratings. I would like to see Vince do an experiment for 3 months time where the opening to Raw was changed, there was a new set, better match content was pushed to forefront, and most of the feuds were booked by competition and all the stupid and offensive angles were not ran. I think with some creative marketing, they might be able to gain an audience back and increase their ratings and PPV ad revenue. And hey, if it fails.....not much harm came from it.

I lose respect for Batista more and more as each new tidbit comes out. There is something in the back of my mind that tells me that they may be working us to make him into a heel when he comes back. However, Booker is a heel, and there are several top heels for him to face. So, looks to be 100% true.

I would say that the guy could set up some sort of ad-revenue for the site to get his money back in a roundabout way, and NOT have to commit a crime of drawing money out of someone else's bank account.

I will be there live to watch Joe vs. Senshi for the NWA Bluegrass in Ashland, KY on June 16. Only a 15-20 minute drive for me!

Okay, sorry if this was posted before, as I stopped reading the thread after Hass of Pain's third post or so on how this is stealing and wrong. First off, you have already been told of your grammatical error with "get" instead of "yet" or "got," whichever you meant to type. However, in that same sentence, you typed "greatful" instead of "grateful." Also, unless you were going for something else, Charlie Haas' name is not spelled "Hass." So do not bring spelling into this. Secondly, I want you to consider this analogy. Your friend bought this amazing documentary on the Civil War, and knows you are a Civil War buff. He tells you about it and decides to make you a copy. Maybe only a copy of one of the tapes from the very long documentary. WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO WATCH THIS TAPE, AND WHO THE FUCK IS HE TO COPY SOMETHING HE BOUGHT? See the point? Label it stealing if you must, but the only way this copy got to people who did not purchase it is from someone who did.

Sayid, Jin, and Sun should be back before urley gets back to camp. Sayid is the leader now, and if Locke, Eko, and Desmond are alive, that is three more competent people for leadership even if they do not have the top spot. And though Jin cannot lead well due to the language barrier, he makes a fine second that I believe will be an animal unleashed once he gets going. It really is impressive what a group of characters we got from the plane crash and Desmond's wreck. We have all sorts of strong, competent people with experiences that made their transitions into survivors much easier than normal. For instance, Jack shooting the rope that held the net with one shot while swinging gently back and forth. Pretty impressive. Locke, Eko, Jack, Sawyer, Sayid, Kate, Jin, Desmond, and before her death, Ana Lucia....all of these people would be good for a makeshift army to fight the Others. If they can all get back together and have Sayid organize them correctly, I think the Others will be in trouble even with their stealth and weaponry.

The scene with people in the outside world saying they "found it" is news to me. My screen went straight to our local news, and the credits were scrolling along the bottom. I have it DVR'ed, so if it happens after that, hopefully it will be on my recording.
-
Yeah, same here on the spoilers and my willpower to not highlight them until the episode is over. And I'm not sure how many of you check out the "LOST" message board at IMDB, but there are spoilers there everywhere you turn. Topics and threads might say something like "Ana Lucia and Libby die this upcoming epsiode ***SPOILERS!!!" The people over there are mentally challenged. They also have 15-20 threads of the same topic, and every week, someone comes on and says "New Theory.....they are in PURGATORY!"

It is times like this that I wish I had replaced the surround sound that my old roommate took with him when he moved out. I have a 53" widesreen, which is nice, but you just can't beat that surround sound with LOST. I will be doing my usual routine of watching it and having to pause it repeatedly to answer the phone, answer my girlfriend's questions or comments, etc. I would love to have it be interruption-free, but I know it won't be.
-
Yeah, I have to stay away from that spoiler. It is tempting because I am dying to know what happens, but.....willpower will make it that much better to see it on TV as it happens.
-
Umm, who the fuck is that guy? And why was that gimmick thought to be a good one? And what promotion is that?
-
Nothing gayer than that move.

My mistake then. I couldn't think of any time he had been called Hugo on the island, but I guess there are several. Oh well, my thoughts on the Others calling him by that name worked out for me anyway, but the rest of my thoughts went to piss.
