    LOST

Okay, pick this new theory apart, or add to it as needed. All of the hatches are connected to the center, designated by a "?" on the glowing map in Lockdown. The numbers are entered every 108 minutes to keep the tunnels locked and block off access to the center. Thinking about the Dharma symbols, and the patterns of lines in the octagon, imagine if the lines were on continuous rotation, and how at a certain point there would be an open path from the center to the outer part of the logo. Each station has different lines in the logos if I am not mistaken. In this theory, I am not pondering on why they want to keep people from going into the center. I am thinking they want to keep something in the center from coming out. That would be the devil. Thoughts?

    Very dumb question...but 100% serious

Is this some sort of business venture?

Post Mania Speculation for the Year

Smackdown Acquired via Lottery or Trade 1. Chris Masters 2. Shawn Michaels 3. Eugene 4. Coach 5. Johnny Parisi Individual Wrestlers Rey Mysterio---Defends against Angle, Orton until losing the title and having a good series with Benoit. Kurt Angle---Chases after his title, has a series with Lashley at some point, and faces a returning Batista. Randy Orton---Wins the belt in the near future, loses it to Batista later. Batista---Returns to feud with Orton and wins the belt. Faces Angle, Benoit, and Rey. Chris Benoit---Series with Lashley at some point, series with Finlay and Regal, and faces Batista for the title. Bobby Lashley---Series with Angle, Benoit, Rey after he turns heel. Put him with the good workers and let him get better. Finlay---Tears it up with Benoit and Regal. Holds the US title for a while, and helps the newcomers get better in the ring. JBL---Midcard and US title until a face turn sees him move up the card a little. Paul Birchall---US belt for him this year after beating Finlay for the belt. MNM---Malena adds Johnny "Swinger" to her stable, possibly after Johnny Nitro breaks away, butI would like to see the 3 of them together. Mark Henry---Midcard feuds for anyone looking to beat a big man before moving up. Booker T---A serious push toward the World title, but he comes up short. Chris Masters---Comes over from Raw and pushes toward the Main Event. Shawn Michaels---Fresh feuds for his 1-2 matches every 3 months. Special attraction. Eugene---All sorts of shenanigans with the Boogeyman, history with Regal. Coach---gets him off the Raw announce team. Make him a manager for Mark Henry and put Daivari in the cruiser division. Johnny Parisi---joins MNM's stable. ***Not speculating on Cruiser or Tag divisions right now*** World Title Lineage Rey > Orton > Batista > Angle

Post Mania Speculation for the Year

Raw Acquired via Lottery or Trade 1. Undertaker 2. Doug Basham 3. Ken Kennedy 4. Jillian Hall 5. Orlando Jordan Individual Wrestlers RVD---Has the MitB title shot for one year. I see him either cashing it in at the ECW PPV, or announcing when he wants to use it at that PPV. I don't see him winning it with the MitB shot unless it is at the ECW show. Edge---Big win over Foley keeps him on the cusp of the Main Event scene. He needs to get another title win this year and let him have at least a 3 month run. Triple H---Probably winning the title soon. I could see him beating Orton for it as early as tonight's Raw, but definitely by the end of Backlash. Cena---Heel turn and revamp him. Shawn Michaels---One or two matches every 3 months. I see him getting "injured" soon to explain a lenghty absence, but goes to Smackdown in the Lottery. Carlito---Feuds with Masters, continues to be an uppercard guy, but gets some big wins. Masters---Loses the feud to Carlito, continues to be an uppercard guy until he goes to Smackdown. Kane & Big Show---Will lose the tag belts to the Spirit Squad when Vince puts all five of them vs. Kane and Show at the same time. These two feud for awhile afterward. Spirit Squad---Will be able to defend the belts with any two of the members. Ken Doane and Johnny Jeter will break away from the group first to go on solo runs. Shelton Benjamin---Will defend his belt against Charlie Haas for awhile, and then be pushed up the card a little if he doesn't keep slipping on the ropes. A good series with Haas could bring back his ground wrestling. Taker---Will switch to Raw so he can have fresh matches for his 3 fueds on the year. I see him doing something with Triple H for the fall while neither men has the title. Doug Basham---Joins brother Danny on Raw and they reform their tag team to give them something to do, and provide another team. Ken Kennedy---A run with the IC title, wins a feud with Flair, and associates himself with Vince to keep moving up the card. Jillian Hall---Moves over for the women's division. Orlando Jordan---Moves over because there is nothing for him to do on Smackdown. Not much for him to do on Raw, but at least it would be newer for him. WWE Heavyweight Championship Lineage for the year Cena > Triple H > RVD > Edge or Cena > Triple H > Edge (in a 3-way and/or if H goes tweener or face)

He wouldn't necessarily have to call the majority of the match, but he would have to control the majority of it wrestling. However, heels have a built in advantage of cheap shots, cheating, stalling, and getting the cheap DQ to aide in their limited moveset.

I don't think the champs should switch back this year at all. I don't wantto further deviate from the topic, but I have an idea of the lineage it looks like they will go for on the year.

Triple H's history speaks for itself by burying Kane, RVD, and Booker T all in a row, but I tip my hat to him for losing cleanly at 3 straight Manias. That is what the top heel should do. I am no apologist for him, but the world would not end if he got the belt again. He has different opponents lined up from the last time he was champ.

I used to love John Cena when he had edgy raps that were funny. My favorite thing he did was constantly calling out Brock Lesnar ("You couldn't beat a cripple in a dance-off......wanna see the next big thing? Let me take my pants off!") However, this isn't the 80's anymore when I thought it was legit and punch, kick, clothesline was sufficient to fill up an entire match. I watch for the wrestling and the storylines, and Cena cannot string together moves better than some of the Tough Enough contestants. I have seen him wrestle better than this. I know he has to get carried, but he doesn't have to be so bad. He could improve if he wanted to. I think he is comfortable in his position and needs an eye-opener like being sent back down to OVW for a coupleof months. Turn him heel, give him several months of learning how to put matches together, and I might care about him again. But right now, I want him out of WWE. So yes, I cheered for Triple H last night and it wouldn't bother me if he won it on Raw tonight. But I guess that makes me one of the most stupid people ever, huh Porter?

    LOST

I am thinking that Henry Gale was sent to the hatch specifically to perform something in the hatch, as well as distract from the rations drop. As for what he needed to do in the hatch, my guess is that he told Locke and Jack about sending Ana-Lucia to look for his balloon, knowing that at least one of them would leave to check. This allowed only one person to be in there with him, and he KNEW about the lockdown that was scheduled. Thus, he would need to be let out, and from good luck he got to be alone with the computer.

    Wow

I had the books, actionfigures, etc. Loved this show, and it was only on for a short run.

    4 years?!?!

Wow, I didn't realize how long it had been for me, either. I was here for all incarnations of this board, and posted way more on Rantsylvania and TheSmarks. Does anyone have a timeline for the different variations on the board? I was thinking I started posting in 99 or 2000.

Actually, I took it that the toolbox was holding the door at the height it was at, which had it piercing Locke's leg somewhat. The toolbox was giving way, which would crush Locke's legs completely.....hence the reason Locke was telling "Henry" to hurry and find something strong to put under there. When the last plate was put under the door, Locke still couldn't get out. His leg was still pierced, but it was no longer in jeopardy of getting crushed even further. There's a difference between keeping something from falling further and raising it up.

    WWE Wrestler Salaries

I like when the called Show "Big Nasty" Paul Wight, as an opposite of Nash's "Big Sexy."

Was it just me or did a stick some out Chef's ass when he shit himself? I laughed because I thought that was a clever little item.

Who Gets The Final Money In The Bank Spot?

    A very poor joke.
  18. Test had two really good chances of breaking out as a star but was either shoved down the card or didn't do anything with the chance, depending on how you look at it. The first was after Stephanie left him for Triple H, and the other was when he had immunity for a year. I blame creative, personally, but so much could have been done.

    WWE Wrestler Salaries

I'm thinking that Murdoch, Striker, and Maria's salaries are low because they are not averaged by a full year's work. The article said it was from sometime in 2004 to February 2006. None of those were under full-time contract in February 2005 were they? I'm thinking those salaries are prorated for the length of time they have been on the roster.
  20. For those of us that never say anything memorable, don't post enough, and don't have the social skills that wildpegasus has. Start your nominations.
  21. Could be a male, I just thought I read one of her posts where she stated she was a female. If the consensus was that it was a male poster, don't pay attention to what Isaid.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Tubby, either. Anyone remember his son Saul as the point guard? Terrible.

    Root for Kentucky Basketball

HUGE Kentucky Wildcat fan here. That being said, I almost never rooted for them again after watching that. I stopped watching after they had there notes out on the roof reading the lyrics. Please tell me they were shot and killed at the end as the big payoff?

    Dates/Locations for '06 WWE PPV's

Yeah, I saw this earlier today and will be going to Backlash in Lexington and Cyber Sunday in Cincy. I live in Huntington, WV, which is on the border of OH and KY. Hour and 40 minutes to Lexington, and 2 1/2 hours to Cincy. Never been to 2 PPV's in the same year.
