Angle and Shelton should have a "wrestling feud," where neither man acts overly heelish or faceish. Just have them one upping each other in the ring during each match, and trading wins a couple times. The blowoff can be a 2 out of 3 falls match on a PPV, and by then both will probably be getting cheered by the fans for putting on good wrestling matches and neither have done any heelish things. From there, you could do a double turn during the PPV, or have them reunite as Team Angle (not as a tag team, although I would buy them taking the titles off Kane/Big Show.) As for Cena, let HBK take the title off him and have Cena go tweener for a while. His character would be interesting if he took on both heels and faces, but didn't pander to the crowd or mock the crowd either. Just have him insult all of his opponents, and PLEASE work on some wrestling moves. That leaves HBK with the title where he should lose it at NYR or the Rumble. You would have Shelton (if you did the double-turn), Edge, or Triple H as heels to face Michaels, although I don't want to see another HBK/HHH feud. I say let Michaels do the superhuman survival of the Elimination Chamber from the start of it, but only eliminating the last guy, then have Edge use the money in the bank shot against Michaels who is near death.

How many World champs turned during their reign?
Dandy replied to Dandy's topic in General Wrestling
Yes, and it was WrestleWar. Flair was getting cheered by the end of the match because of how awesome he and Steamboat had wrestled each other in that feud. Funk was a judge awarding points at ringside and asked Ric for a title shot. Flair told him he'd have to get in line and Funk turned on him and gave him a piledriver on the judge's table. Flair was de facto face because of that. -
Not saying they are out and out fakes, but

OVW could definitely be better utilized, especially if they keep Heyman at the helm. I had an idea that they should do an OVW and Deep South Draft, complete with highlight videos, and talking about wrestlers' strengths and where they need to improve. It was discussed in another thread, and I'll search for it and post my idea if anyone cares enough about it for sake of discussion.

Amazing! I just beat the level shortly after posting this thread. Awesome. Now I have Level 16 that looks to be even harder. I was kind of hoping that 15 would be the end, but this game will continue to pull me in.

There is a game on the DirecTV game called "Egg Egg," where you use the remote to make this dinosaur push eggs into nests. It is a strategy game where you pretty much have to do everything in the right order to beat each level, and it can be very difficult to beat at times. Last year around Christmas, I was at my parents' house messing around with their DirecTV and found the games on there. I found this game to be pretty challenging after the first couple levels, and got addicted to playing something so simple (graphics, buttons) yet hard (actually beating the levels) at the same time. Well, I got stuck on Level 15, and here it is near Thanksgiving of the next year and I still cannot beat it. I have searched the net, gotten family members to try it, and even asked on here last year (got no replies and it was off the main page after half a day or so). Has anyone played it, and can anyone beat that level? Please help if you can!

There is a game button on the DirecTV remote. Probably not on the older boxes, but my parents have had theirs for a year and a half or more. Just hit game, and it brings up 4 different games. They are rudimentary in graphics, and you only use the arrow pad on your remote to play the games, but a couple of them are very challenging. Once you play "Egg Egg," you'll understand. You can only push the eggs, meaning you have to leave enough space to get behind the egg on the grid. Whoever developed this game is extremely smart, because each level is designed that you basically have to figure out each move step by step in order to beat it. Very hard.

What happened to the other thread on this? I read it a couple hours ago.

Bullshit. He has been on the Raw roster for well over a year. You telling me that he is still making several hundred a week insitead of sharing in revenues and merchandise? He has more than a developmental contract.

Well, that sucks. Yeah, I have never been able to watch Velocity or Heat, either. Thanks for responding.....maybe someday we can watch them. I just hate that it is free for this month and I can't fucking view it!!!

Descendant of "Devil Anse" Hatfield, leader of the Hatfield clan from the Hatfield & McCoy Feud. Also in my family through marriage is Sid Hatfield, the sheriff that was involved in the Matewan Massacre. The movie "Matewan" starring James Earl Jones was made about it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093509/

Someone mentioned in this thread a long time ago that "add the doctor in the video to the people with artificial limbs." I haven't seen season one (should be here in 5 days or so), but have read each episode to catch up. Maybe the glass eye fits in with the artificial body parts? BTW, I have no idea who they were talking about in regards of adding the guy from the video. Who else had an artificial limb? EDIT---I ended a sentence in a preposition.

Only one arm was atrophying before. And I have become more vascular by getting cut and not taking steroids. Your veins show when there is no fat covering them. And I am not stating 100% that Angle is not on steroids. I am just saying it is possible that he is not. If he is taking any steroids, I would guess that he is on clenbuterol, which is an extreme fat burner.

I didn't throw my two cents in on who i thought it was talking about. When I read it (which I read it 5 times just to see if I could see who he was talking about), I immediately thought of HHH or Benoit. I took the word credentials to mean what they have accomplished as a wrestler, and how big of a name they had. And if Chris Benoit died, smarks and marks would be crushed. Eddie was a favorite the past few years, but Benoit has been cherished by most fans for a LONG time.

Kurt's wife. It was reported a while back and he mentioned it on last week's Raw during his promo.
-
Well, to me it looks like Kurt is rither not juicing now or is on some much different stuff than he was around 2002-2003. During his run as champ during that time and up to him facing Brock at WM19, Kurt was extremely muscled. Now, he looks cut, but with much smaller muscles. Doesn't mean he's not on the juice, but it could be he came off it and is just getting extremely cut due to not having the size he used to. And for those that keep mentioning his "angina," it was stated in another thread that Kurt mentioned that he himself does not have it, but 12-14 people in his family did. They said he mentioned that in his book. Can anyone confirm? His sister died from it, I believe, but I seem to remember him stating he didn't have it. Just a couple of things to think about before mentioning those two factors as concrete in this discussion.

Isn't Angle in the College Wrestling Hall of Fame? If so, that would be one more reason for him to be well-known.
-
Juvi has been doing that for years. He stole stuff from The Rock, of all people, and actually thought that he did his stuff better. Someone needs to go out there and do all his moves and then kick the shit out of him when he complains. I vote Benoit.

My DVR goes forward a couple of weeks on the guide, and after the "Other 48 Days" showing what happened to the tail-end survivors, it said the two surviving camps meet up and do not get along at all. I know this might as well have been reported in the next issue of "No Shit!" magazine, but it does lead you to believe that each camp has issues with the other one, not just Sayid vs. Ana Lucia. I am thinking that only Rose and her reunited husband get along andhelp keep the peace. Jack and Ana Lucia would have a natural rivalry, but remember they were having drinks and flirting prior to takeoff.

I don't understand how it has been around for a few years due to the fact that "Lost" debuted on Sept. 22nd, 2004. He is talking about a mythical island as well, which would probably not adorn itself to be held back by physics. It's a TV show, man! Walt makes things appear if he thinks about them hard enough. Show me where physics explains that.

Well, he references the Mayans, who had an island named MU in their mythology. The Mayans also predicted the end of the world on Dec. 23, 2012 by their calendar. He theorizes that they are actually much closer to the year 2012, and that punching in the numbers keeps the island from drifting from its current location. His timeline of the islands location is supported by several different arrivals to the island (ie--Rousseau, Desmond, flight 815, etc.) Deep theory! I don't necessarily think that is the answer, as it would be very difficult to explain to the average tv viewer, but it's fun to read and discuss.

The entire thread that discusses this is very interesting. Arguments supporting as well as contradicting the opening post are made, with key points that I had never noticed or thought about. Here is the thread: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411008/board/nest/28346825 You do have to be a member of imdb.com, but all you need is to have a valid e-mail address. I never get any messages from them, so sign up if you want to read this discussion. A lot of things to think about.

Obscenely long, but well-thought-out theory posted on imdb.com. Notice his mapquest location by putting in the coordinates 4.815 and 162.342!!!
