Hate to ask those of you who are watching the show, but I am out of town and not able to watch. Care to give a brief highlight of each match after the fact? Simply if it was decent or not, any interesting spots, etc. Just a line or two is all I ask. Much thanks!

Triple H actually said, "in your newfound mediocrity." I think he might be referring to Flair being happy about winning a secondary title when he is a 16 time World Champ!!! That is how I took it.

I loved Four Brothers. And I enjoyed The Recruit, which apparently not many liked. I do agree about the roles of the guy from Sports Night being the same, though.

Here is my take on Harvey Dent's situation. This is both what I want and what I think should happen. It is still only speculative, and nothing that I have read even as a rumor has stated this. First off, I think Harvey should be played by Guy Pearce. I think he would do well in both the Dent and Two Face characters. Nolan obviously likes him and they work well together. I am thinking that Katie Holmes will be brought back as Rachel Dawes. She will either be moved up to DA, or Dent will take the position. Either way, they work as a team, and help Batman and Gordon clean up the city. Along the way, after Joker has been doing his sadistic robberies, murders, etc., he kidnaps Dawes, tortures and kills her. This is the catalyst for him to become Batman's arch-nemesis. There is no Jason Todd for him to kill at this time (not even a Dick Grayson introduced yet.) Barbara Gordon is still too young to be crippled. So, we get Rachel Dawes tortured and murdered, sending Batman into a fury against Joker. There will always be that underlying hate, as Joker has killed his childhood friend and someone he cares for a lot. Dent is now the only player from the DA's office (whether he started the movie off as the DA or Dawes did), and it sets up the rumor of Joker throwing acid in his face at the trial during the end of the second movie or start of the third.

I figured that it had to do with the one writer not getting credit. There is a slip of paper included in the comic that I got with the deluxe edition that reads: CORRECTION: The credits for the story "The Bat-Man" should read: Writer Bill Finger Artist Bob Kane

I love watching Lost, but it is going to kill me not knowing what all the answers are for three more seasons or so, maybe longer. You know that with killer ratings like it has, the network will want this drawn out for as long as they can milk it. This season's ratings are even higher than last year's, and when they start focusing on the hatch, the Others, and someone is killed here and there, I expect the ratings to go even higher. There are new people getting turned on to Lost every week!

There aren't many in their teens and older who actually think wrestling isn't scripted, either.

Well, they still haven't shown how Claire escaped from Ethan and what went on while she was captive. Ethan came back and said that if Claire wasn't given to him, he would kill one of the survivors per day until he got her. I'm pretty sure he was still wanting Claire, with the most likely reason being her pregnancy.

I read that Antonio Tarver was signed. It was reported by some boxing site. I got the info from a thread on IMDB, though, and the majority of the posters there have an IQ slightly lower than their age.

Was that directed at me or the 8 year old?

For some reason, I thought I remembered Dusty being one of the commentators for "nWo Nitro." Maybe he turned to be a heel commentator, but they scrapped the idea of changing it to "nWo Nitro."

Yes, at one point, the movie was titled "Untitled Rock Sci-Fi movie" I do believe. Of course, the script was changed to make it more martial arts when Rock had to turn it down and Jet Li took over.
-
Maybe Rock would be doing a bit better if he had taken the lead role in "The One." I think he would have done well in the role and could have given him a big jump with the action genre.

I voted before reading the clarified explanation of the poll. I was thinking their were several funnier shows than those listed, including--but not limited to--Family Guy, Reno 911, and The Simpsons (not as good as it used to be, but still funny). -
What do you think of the concept that typing the numbers into the computer and hitting execute is transmitting these numbers that are perpetuating bad luck on those who hear them and either try to locate them, or try to use them? I know that the transmission was changed to the French message, but maybe the numbers are being transmitted by an alternate source now.

Well, think of it not as much as heels teaming together. Think of it as how deep Ra's Al Ghul's hands run. He ran things everywhere. His crime syndicate controlled so much. Falcone ran Gotham, but he was just allowed that position by Ra's. He didn't hesitate when Crane told him that the man in charge was coming in personally. Scarecrow and Falcone were just pawns that Ra's used in his syndicate.

Last week, Charlie was asking Locke questions about the hatch and asked about Desmond. He said, "He just ran off? Where did he go?" Lock replied, "Don't know. I tried to track him, but he didn't leave much of a trail." This week, Mr. Echo said on two separate occasions that The Others do not leave tracks, and won't be found if they don't want to be. Is this just a coincidence, or is Desmond one of them? That was the first thing that came to my mind this week when Echo mentioned that.

I usually let shit slide, but he got on my nerves no matter how hard I tried to ignore him. So what's your opinion.....was he a gimmick or just that annoying?

"The Game" ended with Triple H's win over Jericho at WM18. They didn't show a lot from his return to WM18. Not sure where "That Damn Good" left off, but it came out not long after "The Game." Needless to say, both were way before Evolution, and even Summerslam 2002.
-
It wasn't on "The Game" or "That Damn Good." I'm not sure if it was on a Foley disc, though. I wonder if a "Hell in a Cell" DVD would sell? If they just mentioned Bossman/Taker as not being that good (yet paying tribute to the late Ray Traylor at the same time), and had Kennel in a Cell (with alternate commentary) as an extra, the rest should make an above average DVD.
-
I think a 3-disc could be done well. Disc 1: D-X Era Disc 2: The Game Era Disc 3: Return/Evolution Era A lot of Disc 2 will have already been covered, so I would make sure to have some different matches, and new interviews. Disc 1 should definitely go over the D-X vs. The Nation feud in detail, including the parody skit. Disc 3 has not been covered and they have a lot of stuff to cover.

Credit: 411mania.com/wrestling Has anyone received word on a pre-sale date or the pre-sale password? The only date I have heard is Oct. 15th, but not sure if that is regular sale date or the pre-sale.

I was thinking that part of the message in the word jumble on that Mr. Cluck's site said: SHIP IN THE OCEAN. I couldn't figure the first part out, but if this is the last part, they didn't jumble the letters much at all.
