Using Baby Jesus to metaphorically express dislike
Dandy replied to Nighthawk's topic in No Holds Barred
I don't like it at all. Not the boobs thing.....I was talking about IDRM's initial post. I don't think it necessarily offends me, but I don't like using "you disappoint Jesus" as an insult. I think it is wrong. -
I like that "Usual Suspects" idea. Good shit.

As far as what I would want to be called, I'd much rather be called a dick than a pussy. I've never been one to be intimidated and treated like a bitch, and that's what I visualize when someone is called a pussy. A dick can still be tough. I think we all want pussy, though. Well, most of us.
-
I just can't see myself being a dick to people on here. I mean, I defend my arguments and call people out when they are beyond idiotic, but I'm usually a good Samaritan.
-
I do that sometimes so there won't be any confusion as to what I'm replying to. I think you were talking to 1,004, but I do that, too.

I can safely say it isn't over seniority, sicne you've been registered for about two years it seems. Usually a few people get uptight with noobs. Well, I was thinking seniority not in terms of time but number of posts. I didn't post all that much until recently. I did more reading than posting.

I've dealt with assholes before, trust me. I bounce in a bar and worked on the adolescent floor of a mental health/juvenile delinquent facility. The term asshole may not have been the appropriate term to use considering everyone has a different definition for the word, but why be a jerk on here anyway? I'm sure Zsasz has asked questions on here before. I dunno, maybe he has an inferiority complex that he has to compensate by showing his superiority over li'l ol' me.

Were you Bring Back Charlie Ward? In a non-sarcastic mode: Yes. I was indeed. I think the name ran it's course when he became a bench warmer for San antonio and the Knicks got better. Sarcastic Mode: No, I was the King of France until I gave up the kingdom after being hit in the head with a feather. Then I don't get the hate, man. I usually stick to the WWE folder and don't post a lot. I never understood why you got splashed in the face with Haterade. There's only a few people I have had ill feelings toward on here.

I agree that he isn't obligated to tell me shit. He chose to respond, but acted like a fucking asshole when I asked him a question. I would understand if I acted like a douchebag all the time and then got an answer like that when I needed something, but I asked a simple question that he responded to. I hate when people are assholes like that because it's behind a computer screen. If people acted like that in person, they would end up getting maimed by someone.
-
I asked you earlier in the thread if you could give me a rundown. After there was some other discussions going on, I asked if "anyone" could give some details. You chose to respond. I then asked what happened in the rest of the arc, and you responded the way you did. This isn't the HD forum, so I'll keep my real thoughts to myself, but you ought to consider getting over yourself. It was a question on a message board.

The $800 is a rare case that is not a replica. You can buy throwbacks for the price of regular jerseys in most cases. I was just giving the extreme difference for you. I'm not attacking you, Anglesault, but you seem to be oblivious to the hip-hop culture and style. Jerseys are on their way out now, I think, but retro is very much in.

Thanks for your sincerity and help. I have been unable to spend any money whatsoever in the past few months, and even had to sell my Wrestlemania tickets that were two seats behind Dames. I struggle to pay rent each month as I try to get back on my feet, but I'll take your advice and search for all the back issues that I have missed and buy them up without knowing if they are even worth it. I shouldn't have asked if you could give a synopsis of a Batman storyline like you have done many times in threads on here. How very, very selfish of me. I'm such a prick.
-
About $800 in some cases.

I have the first two issues, 620 and 621. What's the rest of the arc?

I watch Raw every Monday. I must have just not noticed Austin's picture has been missing since he came back as Sherrif.
-
I noticed the entire show. Austin's picture wasn't in the opening after Bischoff's. I wondered immediately if it was due to his domestic problems.

I think blind hatred for Orton is clouding your judgment. Orton does dress pretty nice. If you notice, none of Evolution wears ties on a regular basis. Orton usually has his shirt tucked in, but has had it out some recently. You can wear your shirt out and roll the sleeves up and have it look nice. They all dress casual style for the most part. Most of the time when they wear the suits with no tie and the collars unbuttoned.
-
I agree Regal dresses well, but his style is the elegant, gentleman style. Batista, Flair, Rock, HHH, and others go for a more modern, hip style. There are a lot of well-dressed wrestlers in WWE. Of course, if I had the money, I would be that well-dressed, too. I have pretty good style.

Can anyone give me some details on "Broken City?"

I always thought that Edge was somehow tied in with Gangrel and was only half-vampire and hunted Gangrel, sort of like Blade. Christian was his brother but was a follower of Gangrel. I didn't think Edge and Christian were portrayed as full-fledged vampires. Edge then joined them, which didn't make the best sense in the world. After that, they just sort of broke away. Edge could still have been bitten by a vampire in his past, or could have almost been bitten by Gangrel. I know that sounds retarded in a wrestling storyline, but they could still have the continuity intact.
-
The character would more than likely just evolve gradually. Especially if they go the route of having him be a really good wrestler in the ring despite the gimmick. There wouldn't be a storyline explanation. They would probably just have him play a little crazy rather than mentally retarded. That's why I think they should go the way of being a wrestling facts buff. He could go into the announce booth and just spit out random stuff like King Kong Bundy beat SD Jones in 9 seconds at the first Wrestlemania, Bret Hart was the excellence of execution and won his first WWE title against Ric Flair. Paul Roma was a Horsemen. They could gradually turn that quirk into him being "Mr. Wrestling" Eugene Dinsmore. A ring technician and wrestling history buff. If they did any explanation at all, it could easily be he's medicated. They never explained when Edge and Christian stopped being vampires, how Mankind went from the boiler room to a children's book author, why the Undertaker went from satan to a biker, etc. LISTEN TO THE PITTSBURGH MUSIC SCENE AND MORE I like the evolving into "Mr. Wrestling." Good idea.

Very true. They could up and change it and fans would accept it over time. I'm just trying to think about a logical explanation. Not that WWE goes that route anyway. well they did MAKE an effort...weak as it was for what happened... they did the old "psychlogical" excuse...while it never explained how Taker never said anything or The countless times DX and the Corporation were STUNNED by the ugly kane. And No...Bischoff wouldn't have to be "in on it"...they can get lazy and go the kane route and just have be that Nick created this character in his mind because of whatever reason they think of on the cocktail naptain 10 minutes before the show. Oh, I wasn't talking about Kane in my reply to your post. I understand what they did with Kane and I liked it. I meant to say that they could change Dinsmore's character and it would get accepted over time.

Would Bischoff be in on it? They would have to go that route since it is his nephew and he would know of his mental capacity before his debut.
