I'm 29, and turn 30 in late August. I'm not bothered by it at all, and might even look forward to it as the months go by. There seems to be a modicum of respect on a professional level that goes toward the guy in his 30s as opposed to the guy in his 20s. On a personal level, the change in age won't mean anything to me. I have friends in their 30s, and friends in their 20s. To me, the positives outweigh the negatives. As for this point in my life, I am very happy. I have a good job at the management level and lots of room to move up quickly. I have been dating the same girl for over 3 1/2 years, and we have lived together for over 2 1/2 years. I have a blossoming business on the side that allows me to save a little more than usual. And, I have a good balance of work, working out, and leisure activities going on. Right now, life is pretty good.

I thought the kid was ready to right something up about MLK, and then realized that he misunderstood the assignment. You see, the teacher wanted to know what type of hero sandwich was the best, and he came through in the clutch.

I always picture it as "Well hello, gentlemen! Could I interest you in a back rub?"

While we're in the mood for change, is it necessary to have the logo as a link, as well as "TSM Forums" and "TheSmartMarks.com" right below it as linksto virtually the same places?

Barron has to go with Movies and Television. The man lives for the SNL reviews and Box Office Reports. Slayer, Czech, Incandenza, Agent, and Milky have had golden moments in Chocolate Negro (previous incarnations included), even though they have contributed in various other folders. Kinetic is the gorilla glue of the G&T Folder.

I just read the last month or so worth of posts in this thread, and I would like to express a job well done to Venkman on his remark about Cammo.

We already have Point/Counterpoint starting with bob_barron. Now all we need is a Graphics folder thread where we do market research on the market research thread; a draft of the best answers from the market research; someone bringing up Hitler; someone declaring this thread should be in classics; and finally a bunch of people trying to post funny stuff after the thread was deemed "classic," only to bring the quality of the thread down. Then my friends, you will know that TSM is as alive as ever.

First of the year would work well from here on out, I think. You reflect on the previous year's posters, and we wouldn't have a 14 month wait due to switching it back to March. Might as well crown Kinetic right now, though.

1. How often do you visit TSM? How long are you here on a typical visit? How many minutes, or hours, do you spend here daily? I am on here a couple of times per day. My typical visits last 30-45 minutes. I would say my total minutes are 1 1/2 to 2 hours. 2. Which folders do you spend the most time in? Why? Which ones do you skip over? Hard to say. I click "View New Posts" and see what I need to check out. I always check out "Pictures I Like," so by default, it might be My Negro. It's fun there and there is usually some witty banter, even if Witty Banter isn't there. 3. Who are your favorite posters? What makes a poster "good"? Venk, Kamala, Cheech, Slayer, Kinetic, alfdogg, alkeiper, and Smues. Good posters post on a variety of topics, communicate their thoughts well, and don't flip their shit often. They should also be entertaining. 4. Who are your least favorite? Why? The clueless posters. You know who and why. 5. Who is your favorite mod? Can you actually name the mods we have? Smues. Yes, I can. 6. What brought you to TSM in the first place? Do you still come for the same reasons? Do you still watch wrestling? I believe I was here when the forums were first started on Scott Keith's site. No, I come here out of habit, to get news, laugh, goof off, and have fun. Yes, I still watch wrestling. 7. What is the one thing, above all else, that keeps you coming back here? I'm a creature of habit. 8. If you could change one thing about TSM, what would it be? I would make it a site I could view from work. I wasn't privy to the expanded questionaire as it was being edited as I made my post. The board was at its best for me about a year or two ago, and it will be around forever.
