He got enough of it.

I will never read his stuff because I so often disagree with not only his views on ATH, but how upset he gets when no one shares his view. His ilk rub me the wrong way.

I got a secondhand Brita. Didn't cost me a thing.

Who? Edit---I know a guy named Kinnie that wouldn't mind doing a Q&A.

That was posted on here last year, I believe.

You say $2.50 nationwide, but it is nowhere near my area. In fact, I clicked on a link recently, perhaps in this thread, that showed where alternative fuel was sold. It is not as abundant as necessary. Millions and millions of people would not have access to that fuel source.

New Theory: Paul Roma and Chris Masters are father/son or at the very least brothers. Photgraphic proof can be produced if necessary.

Still $3.99 here in Huntington. When oil dropped considerably last week, there was no change. It had record days and a record high, and still no change. We have gone over the $4 mark before (last month), so I have no idea why they are not seizing this opportunity to hike the prices.

It's been available to me for months, but I have never had my receivers hooked up via phone line so I will never get it.

This new regime will listen to your complaints! You guys didn't like it so they made a new logo!

See, that is why I was calling him James Jung when I was drunk. I knew it was something that sounded like that, but being drunk...I called him by the team's name.

I watched the game, Mik, and he looked very good in his debut. He walked 5 in 5 innings, and as soon as he had enough innings for the win, they took him out (more on that in a sec). However, for his first start in the big leagues, he was pretty damned good. He might have gotten to stay in for another inning or so, but it was a good time to take him out. With the Marlins clinging to a 2-1 lead, he was set to lead off in the bottom of the 5th. He had already thrown 89 pitches, so they pinch hit for him. That paid off in spades as they padded their lead that inning and never looked back. I would guess that he could have gone 6 innings had he not been scheduled to bat that inning. Very solid pitcher, indeed!

Hmm, I would have sworn that it was Cantu. Even though Votto hits lefties just fine, the Reds were in a bigger need of a right handed bat to come off the bench or platoon. Cantu is an adventure in the field, but platooning him wouldn't have been a bad idea. Before the season, no one knew that Votto would hit well vs. lefties, and a right hander that could play multiple positions would definitely help in double switch scenarios. I am not a Cantu fan, but it just seemed like a dumb move and it was even dumber in retrospect.

Okay, so Jorge Cantu has been mashing the ball against the Reds this year. He hit a couple of homers against them earlier this year, and has 3 in the first two games of this series so far. Some Reds fans were surprised that Scott Hatteberg was kept instead of Cantu to platoon with Votto because the club needed some right handed hitters more than lefties. After Cantu hit a home run in tonight's game, announcer Chris Welsh looked up roster moves to see the exact reason that Cantu was released back on Dec. 5th. They needed a roster slot for Sergio Valenzuela the very next day from the Rule 5 Draft. What happened to Valenzuela, you ask? Chris Welsh: "They got him down to spring training and he looked so bad in his warmups that they never even put him in a game." Al, do you know a site that will allow you (as a non-subscriber) to access a player's stats against individual teams? I would like to know what Cantu has done against the Reds this year. He has 5 homers at least.

Oooooh, who to eliminate?!? My first thoughts are to eliminate someone that is a threat to me. However, I really don't know who is a threat because I have no idea what we are doing day to day. Instead, I will use a super secret formula to determine which poster gets the axe. That poster is Battlenuts.

Tell Jimmy I am terribly sorry for calling him Jimmy Jung because I was drunk back in 2001. He was one of many wrestlers present for the last Nitro that I got to talk to and/or cut promos with on my camcorder.

Once Jamie Noble is no longer with WWE and never wants to go back, maybe I can get him for a Q&A.

Oil prices continue to go up today. On usatoday.com, the major reason mentioned for the soaring oil prices (down to $122.30 at close a couple of days ago) was an analyst at Morgan Stanley predicted that oil prices could be as high as $150 per barrell by July 4th. I wish that sort of logic worked in other areas of our economy. If so, I would---as a financial person myself---predict that my house will be worth $1,000,000 by next year. That would be pretty cool. http://www.usatoday.com/money/economy/2008...815204975_x.htm Edit---Sorry, I should clarify that the article explains yesterdays gains as the rise of the euro like Eric mentioned, but today's gains were due to predictions. They supposedly have data to back up the prediction, so it isn't as bad as I made it sound, but I'm still pissed.

I guess they were doing it in case the game was tied in the bottom of the ninth to send it into extras. I wouldn't have done it, but whatever.

Votto breaks up the no no with a two out double to score Phillips.

Brett Myers has a no hitter through 6 against the Reds. Volquez has given up only two hits, but the Phils have had several people on and in scoring position due to walks, HBP, an error, and a wild pitch.
