Actually it was his second at-bat in his first game. I'm glad to have the win, but the bullpen collapse in the 9th looked way too much like the last two years. Th Reds have won 6 out of 9, but you simply cannot give up 6 runs in the 9th to tie the game. Arroyo has looked good in two straight starts, so hopefully he can get in a groove.

From Wikipedia, so I can't verify this, but it does quote a source.

All I have ever heard was he would not do any that Nolan was not a part of. I had the feeling that if they threw the money at the two of them, Bale and Nolan would come back. After the box office, dvd sales, merchandise/toys/etc., the Batman movies make huuuge profits for everyone involved. If the studios wanted to, they could make sure to get the main cast back.

He also had 16th Street in Huntington named after him. It is now "Hal Greer Boulevard."

I'm sure the guys liked it.

I can't believe no one has taken this one certain player yet.

Expected starters for the Sunday interleague game between the Indians and Reds: Cliff Lee (6-0, 0.67 ERA, 44 K, 4 BB, 0.67 WHIP) vs. Edinson Volquez (6-1, 1.12 ERA, 57 K) Should be a good pitcher's duel, but you never know in GAB. My friend is going and asked if we wanted to go, but looks like we won't be able to make it.

I have worn the goatee with no mustache for years. Having a mustache only helps if you are a 40-50 year old that likes Nascar, or you are up for a Tom Selleck Look-A-Like Award. Or, if you are Kamala...right Kamala?

Men get transplants for their head because of a stigma that bald = inferior. That is just simply not true and that stigma is fading quicker with each passing year. Why would anyone want to get a transplant for their jaw/chin/lip, though? Unless you are a steel mill worker or something where everyone thinks you are a sissy for not having a full beard, why bother? Also, you are 24, so you should probably give it a few more years. My dad said he was patchy until 25, and then one day he had this spectacular beard. His facial hair is about as thick as anyone I have seen. Give it a few years and just go without facial hair or grow it in the places you can actually get it (provided it is a sensible area to have the hair by itself).

I won't post it here, but ask, "Should I stop watching wrestling?"

If you were referencing my comment, I did not say that I would rather abuse a human than abuse a dog. I was not being totally serious with my comments, as I realize that laws (as well as morals) prohibit punishment like I mentioned. It is ridiculous that he will get some jail time which will "up his street cred," and pay a fin that he can obviously afford. People causing all this abuse by fighting these animals are sick and twisted. Should we kill them? No. Should they get a little more punishment than what they get? Absolutely.

The news on Morgan is that when he went to finalize the deal to be on Gladiators, they wanted to sign him to a 6 year deal tht would make the show his first priority. He wanted wrestling to be his first priority, so he turned it down. Things have since been worked out, and he will debut this season while being lowered from a cage. His Gladiator name is "Beast."

Who is the greatest gay black wrestler of all time in WWE?

I agree. I also think Nolan is missing the boat on the Penguin. Bob Hoskins playing Cobblepot, a nightclub owner who runs guns would rock. The dude doesn't need to look exactly like a penguin or anything, just have an affinity for birds and be short and stocky. Make him an eccentric guy that dresses up and carries umbrellas with hidden weapons in the end (gas, spear, darts).

Why? I would love to see Knightfall made into a movie by Nolan and Bale, and I think the Dark Knight Returns would be a good story to end the series on. Most likely, the next movie is going to be mostly about Two Face, so I think that would make for a pretty good 5 movie arc.

Did it say "Please Try Again" under the lid because they were having a contest you were unaware of?

If you don't get to go, you should seriously think about suing them for mental anguish and the fact that you missed out on something you will never be able to go to again (due to the changing cards and live television aspect).

Well, it all depends if they have sneak previews on Wednesday and/or Thursday before the July 18th opening. Begins did roughly $75M, but that was with Wednesday midnight to Sunday numbers, IIRC. Of course, some people were mentally retarded and could not understand that this was a totally different franchise than the previous Batman films, and that could have hurt it slightly that first weekend. I remember constant arguments of, "It's not a good prequel to the '89 film" all over the net back then. Based on the good reviews of Begins, Joker being the main villain in this, the fact that Ledger died right after making this, and the viral marketing getting people amped up to see it, I will say that it will be slightly over $100M like Iron Man. It would be awesome if it did $150M that first weekend, but I doubt it will. If it does, I hope Nolan and Bale go ahead and do the third part in two years instead of 3, and I hope they throw enough money at them to make a 4th and 5th so we can really do all the storylines fans have wanted from the comics.
