Okay, we have initiated a couple of things in the WWE folder to get more discussion going on days there are no shows. What would you guys like to see in this folder? We have the Town Hall threads over there (that will have guest hosts each week pretty soon), and Cheech is trying out a Profile thread on a new wrestler each week. Do you guys want those here? Do you want something else entirely? Give us some feedback, it's your folder.

I moved the discussion about the announcing team to its own thread. We will be doing this whenever a few topics start branching off from other topics and are getting a decent amount of attention. Hopefully, it will liven up the folder a bit and encourage people to discuss more things.

That same thing pretty much happened when Funk attacked Flair right after his match with Steamboat. They had Funk be a judge at ringside, and that was why the table was there to be used on Flair. Brilliant booking...I loved that.

Which belt would you have them going for, and would you have one of them change shows to feud over that belt? Interesting scenario.

In MMA, it has many variations, and you would most likely rarely see the kind that Taker is using. A gogoplata is typically using your own leg to choke out your opponent, often by grabbing your own leg in the process.

While I agree that it is way too soon to involve Flair in any kind of angle, you know that it is inevitable if he makes any future appearances. You don't have someone of that magnitude appear for you and not have him do anything or get involved in something. This storyline needs a slow burn, and hopefully it won't lead to a match at Backlash or something. I would like to see it evolve ever so slowly and perhaps have Batista turn heel in time for a SummerSlam program. If this gives Dave and Shawn something to do and keep them out of title matches in the mean time, I am all for it.

Yes, I ran through the emotions on him this game. The throwing error from earlier and then missing the bunt twice in a row had me wanting him benched until he could work on his mental issues. What I laughed about was the one announcer on my feed all but yelling that Encarnacion was not a clutch player, and should be benched immediately. The other guy was trying to bring up his average with runner's in scoring position last year, which was great, and Edwin smokes a three run walk off homer. The announcer that was taking up for him: "Was THAT clutch?"

No, this is not the same triangle choke he has used occasioanly since 2003 or so. This has his shin across the guys throat and pulling the back of their head against it.

That doesn't stray off topic at all. The way I had originally intended these threads was to spawn discussion in other area that will either be discussed here or other threads. That is why we have been so adamant that posters not just answer the questions, and especially just with one or two words answers and no reasons for their answers.

Bob, I'm not sure if this will make a difference to your thinking I am so unqualified or not, but I have been sending ideas to Cheech and he to me since before I was made a Custodian. I have very limited powers and so does he. We are not running around trying to flex our mod powers or anything, and we are trying to facilitate better discussion in an easier format. I will continue to do that, and if that keeps you up at night, perhaps you could stalk a cast member of SNL and then whine about everything at two separate forums. Thanks.

Would it be better to try a Fantasy Sports subfolder and expand it a little like you did with the 24/7 Folder, al?

I don't exactly have a good track record with starting threads no matter what the folder, but I appreciate the compliment.

No. I stated that same thing in this thread and was corrected. 1080i shows more pixels than 720p, so 1080i could not equal 540p. Something stable on the screen, and 1080i would be better than 720p. 720p would be better for onstant, quick motion.

Don't worry about it. I was initially wanting to spread it out over other folders to try and help thos folders get more active. However, al was right about it being Dames, and no one has been posting in the other folders anyway.

I was thinking that it would probably be a good idea to have Smackdown and ECW represented as a single entity since they have the talent exchange. That way, you don't have people getting drafted specifically to ECW. Anyone else think it should go down that way?

Well, I think it's obviously because he is a big fan of MMA. Personally, I think everyone in the upper card or main event should have a submission finisher or at least a secondary finisher.

You can get submission finishers over if they are sold and protected in the right ways. I don't much like the way that everyone has had blood coming out of their mouths after he released the hold, but it has finished everyone that has been in it so far. Let him take out enough people with it, and the crowd will catch on. The announcers are included in it being sold properly, by the way.

Write your own preview as well, won't hurt a bit. We need all the posts we can get in this folder to liven it up more.
