Get started on the drugs then. Good work.
-
To infinity and beyond!
-
Are you going to get fat, hooked on drugs and knock up more than 11 women?
-
I like that one.
-
Yeah. I didn't mean to imply that was what they were calling his new submission, just that in the past they didn't come up with a good name for a new submission of his.
-
MMA. They better come up with something better than the "Taker Care of Business."

Questions from a Wrestling Fan 10 Years Ago
Dandy replied to Diamonddust's topic in General Wrestling
There were a bunch of guys in Dory Funk's wrestling school that was the WWE feeder at the time, and Adam Copeland was getting a lot of hype. Also there around the time were Jay Reso (Christian), Glen Kulka, Sean Morley (Val Venis), and Andrew Martin (Test). Martin at one time was being billed as Shawn Michaels at 6'6". -
Yeah, it would. Probably be $150 or more, I would figure. Still, with as many people that grew up watching Flair, you would figure there would be middle-aged guys buying this as and making their kids watch it.
-
That's what I figured. I laughed when I read it, but I you never know with the stories about "respect and decorum" that have come out about WWE over the years.

They should just go nuts and make a 8-10 disc set for Ric showing everything important he has ever done. The last disc could be his Hall of Fame speech, last match, and then the Raw retirement party. You know a set like that would sell.

1. Did Tom Browning have to pay 17% of his fine to the Cubs? 2. They have every right to seek payment from the owners of the rooftops, as Czech stated. However, it is also a necessity that they do so, because where would it stop if they don't? You cannot set a precedent of allowing others to make money off your intellectual property, yt try to hold others accountable for basically doing the same thing. I am sure this is something that the Cubs enjoy having to make the Wrigley atmosphere what it is, but there is no need to throw your business sense out the window. The rooftop owners agreed to the stipulations and they are making huge profits. The problem lies with someone not honoring a contract that they are a part of, and he will probably be dealt with accordingly. 3. I used to hate naming rights, but I guess I have grown used to them. I would like to see everyone strive for a good sounding fit for their stadium, area, etc., and use some common sense on whether or not it would sound good or not. The Great American Ballpark sounds great, and I applaud the decision to go with that name.

Flair annointed Cena as the future of the business and praised him highly during the uncut part of his Hall of Fame speech. He stated that he taught Cena how to drink, as well. I am guessing that Cena (being big on respect of those who came before him and the business in general) has been seeking advice from Flair for a while.

Do they have the buffet there?

Edit---That was a quote from Hogan that was previously a part of Promoter's post.

We are going to try to do the same things in here as the WWE folder as far as pinning threads and such. The goal will be to have threads for each show started and pinned the day before the show (unless it is a PPV, that will get pinned earlier than that), and keep it pinned through the day after the show. More topics and discussion would certainly be more welcome. Let us know what you would like to see done in here.

Yahoo has had more up on Wrestlemania than I thought they would. The coverage that WWE and the event got makes Mayweather's price tag worth it, to me. Especially if it was $3.5 M.
-
Without a doubt. I wish I hadn't known the surprises coming out beforehand, but it was still great. Ric broke down many times, and it just made you feel the emotion.
-
I'm not sure I could narrow it down to 10 at the moment. I'll have to think about that.

I was thinking last night that this was a situation where kayfabe shouldn't really matter. I thought Vince should have been out there (Taker, too, but I didn't think about him at the time), and Festus shouldn't have been in character. No need to keep up the "illusion" when you've got one of the greatest of all-time and you're sending him off.
-
I never got the comments on Triple H's hair loss back in the day. To me, it was an illusion due to the change in his hair. Up to that point, he had it pulled back or he always had it dry and well-maintained. When he turned into the Game character, he always had his hair wet and possibly gelled, which made his scalp visible; you know, like when anyone has their hair wet like that. At the same time that he was supposedly going bald, his hair looked full as can be when it was dry.

Okay, start the other topics whenever you can. If it happened at the WWE event, it's cool to discuss TNA people there. Thanks for posting this stuff, it's always cool to get a first-hand account on how things went down.
-
Feel free to message me with any thoughts on things you would like to see in the folder. We can't accomodate everyone, but we will sure listen to suggestions.
-
Dames, if this wouldn't be too much work for you, I'd like to have the relevant discussion in each folder. Would you mind starting one in TNA and Indies (for ROH) as well? No need to move this as there will obviously be relevant discussion about WWE and Wrestlemania. Edit---I changed the subtitle to reflect only WWE-related items, Dames.

That is the Undertaker's real name. Is that your opinion or was that reported as news, Gert? I took it as a joke.
-
That was who I was thinking of.
