ROUND 2 With the first pick in second round of the TSM NFL Mock Draft, the Miami Dolphins select John Carlson from Notre Dame. I like Carlson's all around play, and feel like he could turn into a consistent TE in the NFL within 2 years. He will need to get a little better with blocking to make it to the top tier of TE's, but I expect him to produce decent numbers right away. Miami needs to add a lot to the offense, but Carlson was the star TE for me. I considered many other options with this selection, at the majority of the positions. It came down to the fact that I could probably take most of the guys I was looking at with Miami's next pick.

In all fairness, it really should be changed to "These people posted the most in the last 24 hours."

Yahoo small business is cheap for what you get in my opinion, and the server is never down. I run my parents' lodging business through Yahoo. You get a domain name, e-mail addresses at that domain, unlimited space (last time I checked, that might not be available anymore), and it is incredibly easy to update and upload files. I am pretty familiar with HTML and use that to make any updates, but they have several site building options to choose from.

I understand that $20 million is ridiculously high and I am not arguing that fact. However, you guys are thinking only in terms of buys to produce money for WWE. They make a killing off the gate, merchandise, DVD sales, etc. It can also lead to more PPV buys in the future, and potential ratings boosts. I am not saying that will happen, but you better believe they will be able to recoup that money they would pay for Mayweather. They won't make nearly as much as they normally would, but perhaps they think it's not going to hurt to try. That said, I don't believe he is getting $20 million flat. I am sure he is getting a certain guarantee, then a portion of the gate (tiered like other workers), royalties from use of his likeness on merchandise, and royalties from DVD sales.

To me, this was yet another time that they missed the boat with Val Venis. Val came out and cut a wicked promo on the RTC and got a good reaction for it. After that, they had him join. Val should have said that Val Venis was obviously his stage name, and that would have been a way to get him out of the Venis character without anything terribly dumb. He still would have been a former porn star, but his character depth would have been flushed out as he had a fairly good political sense about him. Instead, he was amongst the group and lost in the shuffle. Stevie did well, and Bull and Goodfather were okay in their roles. I didn't hate the group, and I understand why Vince wanted the group around so badly. However, Val could have been that mouthpiece that really hammered home how out of touch a censorship group is and they could have blasted Bozelle on a weekly basis. When RTC broke up, Val went back to being Venis and regressed to a stale character. Totally missed the boat.

I don't think you do get it, Truthiness. They have not changed his theme. It is a common practice to use stock music for highlight packages, or recaps so they do not have to pay royalties again. This is also commonplace on DVD's. Nothing has been changed here.

Dolphins won't be taking a RB with the first pick of the second round, even if Jonathon Stewart were still available. Pretty good job on the mock, though. It could be torn apart, but so could everyone else's picks.

Excatly... Jeff needs to win a title on SD! or RAW or else the whole point of building him up is wasted. As for the MITB concept... It's basically like the KOTR, where it helps establish wrestlers from the midcard/upper midcarder, into main event level status. MITB helped Edge greatly. And who else? RVD and Kennedy were both a bust. That is arguable, but if it is agreed they were busts, it was most certainly to outside circumstances. RVD cashing in at the ECW show was perfect and gave him good momentum. He would be considereda bust only due to the drug bust. Kennedy was primed to step it up and the injury screwed it all up.

About Primerica: I do the same thing at MetLife, but it is not a multi-level networjking company. Their outlook is "buy term, invest the difference," but they also try to enlist other people to join the company. If you get people working below you, you get overrides on what that person makes. You can make good money doing this, but if you want to get into insurance, you should just get started with a reputable company in the first place.
