WWE General Discussion - December 2007
Dandy replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Beating women is normal and makes sense? I know what you mean, he's not as incoherent as Warrior, but obviously Austin has his own problems. I think you missed what the post was saying. Changing your name to "Steve Austin" makes more sense than changing it to "Warrior Warrior." -
Gridiron Gang was not bad at all. As for other movies Rock is in, I still prefer The Rundown over any of them.

Carlito Brigante would win, hands down.

Today was my birthday, yet I am home by midnight.

You just described my last birthday word-for-word. 28, didn't do anything, didn't want to. No, my last birthday was pretty cool. 27 was a total snoozer as only two of my friends could do anything that night. -

28 here. I have had the birthday where you don't do anything special. Kind of sad to think that one day we will not look forward to birthdays in the slightest. -

Happy Birthday! How old are you? -
I would give my right arm to fly up there tonight to watch this. Any chance you could hold off on the fight until I can make it?

I got the Xbox 360 Pro for Christmas. My girlfriend's brother moved out of our apartment and took his Xbox with him about a month and a half ago. I was pleased with all that came with the Pro, as I have been playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance quite a bit. To answer a few questions that came up on this page, the two year warranty is $59.95, not $40 or so. Still appears to be very much worth it. Pro came with the Silver Membership of Xbox Live with one free month of Gold. $49.95 gets you Gold for a year. I was glad my parents got this for me as I had already set up my Windows Media Center to play all of my music, all of my downloaded movies and TV shows, and display all of my photos through my roommate's 360. Now I am back up and running, and registered a Live gamertag for the first time. I am "Livingood1018" for anyone interested. Right now, I have only the 2 game pack that came with the system, but I am familiar with Madden, GRAW 1 and 2, and a couple other games. Within the next month, I should have a bunch of other games to play online.

Run hills. It will improve stamina, vary your exertion and provide interval training, and running downhill can improve your stride speed. Make sure to do a lot of core work, like abs and lower back. You will need a lot of stamina for longer runs, and a strong core helps keep your body upright. Carbs would be your friend. I would say a lot of whole grains, rice, pasta and fruit. You need a lot of protein as well, given your build. I would suggest grilled or baked chicken breasts daily, and a can of tuna daily.

What the hell, let's give Dave O'Neill Journalist another shot. Damn, that guy got under my skin. Kudos if it was one of you guys. I lose track of the gimmicks unless it is my own.

"Hey! Jimmy Joe Joe!" Edit---AHA! It was Joey Joe Joe. I thought I was remembering it wrong!

My nephew got to pick out a name for his family dog last year. He picked Diogi (D-O-G).

My dog's name is Punkin.

Is funnier than me, but I am kind of like him, apparently.

It was just an example of someone not realizing all the bad things that would happen for them to get the one or two small things they wanted. I imagine these people want no taxes and fees, but they don't realize how difficult it would be for them to make it on their own. I never intended it to be a "check out this almost identical story." And Danville, I appreciate the compliment, but please do not call me EHME. Thank you. -
Is a fictional creature, according to Homer Simpson. "Vampires aren't real. They're fictional creatures...like elves, and pygmies, and eskimos."

Yeah, people like that generally want to change one thing and do not realize what they would be giving away. I used to work with juvenile delinquents, and a few of them used to talk about how Anarchy would be the best way to run this country. The reason that they wanted this is mainly not wanting to have to go to school and follow what their parents said. Me: Why do you want anarchy? Teenager: I could do whatever in the hell I wanted. M: Like what? T: Skate with my friends, do drugs, rob stores to get as much money as I wanted! M: No you couldn't, because I would just rob you of the money you just robbed. T: You couldn't do that. M: Who's going to stop me? T: Me and my friends. M: Me and my friends are bigger and outnumber you guys. We'll just steal everything you have and make you do what we say. T: But... M: No buts. Just you having everything you have taken from you every day. Also, others might kill you the first day of anarchy. T: Just shut up. You don't understand. -
Some of the newer TV's recommend dividing by 1.5. I have a 53" TV currently, and I sit anywhere from 10-15 feet away from it depending on where I sit in the room. I can go a lot bigger, and I will be soon. Dividing by 3 would give me a 60" TV from 15 feet, but only a 40" TV from 10 feet. Both of those are smaller than the TV I will be getting (65"). I would say dividing might make sense if you will be the same distance from your TV at all times, but for those of us who have the TV in a corner of the room, it doesn't make sense at all. For the record, I am not saying you should do the 1.5 thing I mentioned, as I was just relating that I saw that recently.

The Earps will not stand for that for long.

Would they want our help if their new country was invaded by terrorists? -
I say keep banning her. She has done pretty much everything there is to be banned before, got away with stealing accounts because she "guessed" the passwords, etc. She talks about Al's insecurities, when she is the most insecure person I have ever known of at the internet level. Don't get into a power struggle with her, becasue that is what she wants. If you let her back, you might as well let everyone back. And if you keep setting limits and do nothing when they are broken, you lose all control. Haven't you guys ever watched "Tombstone?"

Despite Volquez doing good in AA and AAA last year, I am extremely saddened with this deal. I was hoping for Hamilton and Bruce being in the outfield together for years to come. I just don't see giving up Hamilton for a pitcher that hasn't done anything of note in the majors yet. He might turn out to be a true gem, but right now, I am not happy. What does everyone else think?

Ha ha...BRUNCH...who ever heard of such a thing?
