I thought previously that he might have had a combination of alcohol and pills in his system. My thoughts were that when Wellington died, he was grieving and got drunk and might have been taking pain medication. Either way, after killing his wife and child, I would say that he drank as much as he could to try to deal with it. Remember the WWE employee said he was groggy when he spoke.

Like I posted about 15 pages ago, no one knows that Daivari was the one that was made to do the squats. The story was that Daivari wanted to train with Benoit and Conway, and just jumped right into their routine of doing 500 hindu squats...not building up to it. There was no story about Daivari disrespecting HBK and forced to do the squats as punsihment. The reason I am posting this, is to show how people make assumptions, post those assumptions, and then it is quickly regarded as fact.

Before the face down on the bed thing, I was going to post that because he was found dead in his bed does not mean that is where he was killed. You could choke a 7 year old to death and carry him to his bed and it wouldn't necessarily create an exact location of death by the evidence.

You guys are incorrectly remembering what Chavo said. Chavo said he stayed there a week ago, and Benoit caught his flight but he (Chavo) missed his. They went out on the road for a house show circuit, and had dinner one night. Chavo went home, and Benoit went home. Then he started talking about talking to him on the phone the night before he died. Chavo did not stay there the day before the murders started.

I am in no way saying that this is the case here, so please bear with me. I have known many people that were avid steroid users. The ones that continually use/cycle the steroids treat them as a wonder drug and will rationalize their use and minimalize any side effects as "urban legend" or the product of misuse. I have had several people tell me that you should get your children on them early to give them a head start for their career in sports. They are convinced that the increased recovery help from injuries far outweighs the "supposed" negative health aspects it brings about. During a conversation about my 50 year old mother having a hard time getting back into the swing of things at her office job due to the back surgery she had last year, someone recently told me I "should get her on some Growth." Is that the case here? Purely speculation.

What use is one last memory when you kill yourself?

It will be interesting to see if they can piece together some or most of his actions after committing the murders. They will check his phone records and can check with the people he talked to; they can read his text messages that he sent; they can check to see if he actually ordered the PPV; and they can check the hard-drive on his computer to see if he was online or commiunicating with anyone. After the time of deaths are established, there can be more added to the story even if there was not a note, which I am assuming there was not or it would most likely have been mentioned by now.

Chavo said he talked to Benoit the night before he died. I rewatched it on DVR. Either Chavo slipped up due to the circumstances; he meant Saturday night because he figured Benoit died on Sunday, or he talked to him Sunday night. With Benoit supposedly calling in on Sunday to tell them he couldn't make it and the text messages, I am going to say that Chavo talked to him on Sunday.

I remember that the story about Daivari was that he wanted to train with Benoit and Conway, who were known for their hindu squat work-out. Daivari has always been reported as having the respect of the locker room for how he desired to train and such. Sounds like either the story was reported wrong the first time, or we are lumping the two stories together.

Again, just specualting, but after they released the statement that said they had other information that they could not release, maybe the testimonials and such had to be taken down. Or, they are distancing themselves from putting up positive testimonies to his character due to the nature of what happened.

The more stuff that comes out in this, the weirder it gets. I am going to re-watch the Chavo segment and listen again to what he said about talking to Chris. And if that Wiki entry was from someone at WWE headquarters and WWE knows more than they can tell at the moment...I'm wondering if Benoit didn't tell someone he had done something bad, only to off himself so he didn't have to face the charges or deal with what he did. Purely speculation on all accounts.

I wanted to post many, many pages ago, but just got overwhelmed reading all of the responses. Then I started watching Raw, and I was even farther behind on trying to read them all. If Benoit murdered them both, then I lost a good deal of respect for the man, even though I didn't know him personally. It doesn't change what I think of him as a performer, either. I think this is a sensible take on the situation. I am holding out hope that he didn't do it, but the reports are saying he most likely did. I don't agree with all of the jokes being made, but I also don't think everyone should be acting like 10 year olds. Someone we watched on TV died. That sucks. I really did feel terrible when I found out. However, there is no need to rip posters off the wall, blur out his likeness on future broadcasts, etc, if he is found out to be guilty of murder.

I can't stand to see businesses use an apostrophe before the "s" when making plurals.

Big Joe Williams and some other early black blues singers got most if not all of their best work covered by white artists so the songs could go mainstream. Examples like that are just a fraction of the songs that people think are original, yet they are actually cover songs. "Louie Louie" by The Kingsmen is a good example. IT is by far the most popular version of the song, but it is not the original.

Definitely over 50%, but that is due to sucky bands that so nothing but covers. No way is it 99%, though. One thing you have to think about is all of the covers that most people think are the original version. That should be an entire thread by itself.

I think it is apparent that the limo driver is involved. That man doesn't wear a wig like that unless something is up. There is a slight chance it's a red herring, but I bet that the evidence will point to him, he will be revealed, and he will end up being a patsy for the real mastermind...Howard Finkel.

I had a good laugh reading the threads on Vince's bio at IMDB. Even though it is funny to hear the people think he's dead, I laughed harder at the ones that typed out lengthy reasons on why he didn't really die.
