First of all, it was Nassau. Second of all, everyone knew that Rock was losing and leaving to film movies. People don't like it when their stars leave the business and go to "greater glories." ECW fans got bitter when people left to WCW and the WWF to be able to feed themselves and their families. WWE fans get bitter when people go film stuff. Bob Holly will not be making movies any time soon. I think the match will go over fine. I don't believe it should be part of a major PPV, but then again that's because I know HHH's title match will get top billing again then. Jason

Ah, but if you're a WRITER, you're magically exempt from the "This person has NO right to talk about this!" clause that applies to actors, singers, and so on. Or a Kindergarten Cop, apparently. I think this Kindergarten Cop won the right to talk about politics by, you know, winning a political election. Jason

I have about 250. But the sad thing is that I know people with tons more than even that. Jason

Wrestler most in need of the Fab Five?
ISportsFan replied to Betty Houle's topic in General Wrestling
Hopefully nobody votes for Bradshaw, since the title of the show means that there's at least one straight guy getting made over. Jason -
According to my history professor, approximately every 600-700 years of the earth there's a (fairly) mild temperature fluxuation. Guess when the last one was... Around 1300. The world got a little colder then. This "global warning" stuff is something I don't buy at all. Jason

Why you would pay $50,000 a week, which is not only more than the roughly $45,000 from buys they get per week but way more than the -$35,000 a week they lose (approximately), to air over WGN baffles me. Yes, they do need to take a risk. But, this one isn't very calculated in my opinion, and it looks like they're in trouble. Jason EDIT: threw in another comma

Benoit in his second feud with the FBI in under a year. Last time it was the opening match of Judgment Day. Cena is gonna get the troops happy with a US title win next week. Blind Nidia gets stupider every week. It looks like Brock/Holly is on for the Rumble. Possibility for Benoit at the Rumble? FBI puts a bounty on him with gambling proceeds? Whatever. Looks sucky. Mine lasts until Thursday. It's pretty good looking. Not bad at all. Jason

That ranks with the late Owen Hart's "He kicked my leg out of my leg" error after he turned on Bret after their match with the Quebecers. Except one moment was after the TV cameras were off and the other was supposed to jumpstart Owen as the company's top heel for the rest of 1994 on a major PPV. Jason

Bret, because without him the tournament would have had no credibility in future years. He MADE the tournament by trotting out 1 good, 1 very good, and 1 excellent match in the same night to have the only 3 good matches of the night. If not, who knows if this would have even caught on like it did. Jason

Was history education, but darn school picked every class until graduation for me. SO, changed that to math education, so I can take some other fun classes on the side. Plus, job demand is higher and supply is lower. Jason

This is my week. Monday: Vector Calculus and Calculus of Several Variables, 8-11 AM Tuesday: Western Civ from Antiquity to 1660, 8-11 AM Wednesday: Macroeconomics, 8-11 AM Thursday: Human Sexuality, 8-11 AM Thursday: Survey of Western Literature until 1600, 1:30-4:30 PM. Only my first and last finals I'm worried about, the rest I'm practically guaranteed to keep an A in. Calc I need a 94% to get an A- and lit I need to get an A+ on the final to get a regular A as opposed to an A-. I wouldn't mind, but Illinois keeps track of the darn minuses and counts them against the GPA. Jason

$$$ That was easy. Jason

Not to mention Ric Flair ended up coming out in drag during a strap match against Vader, and of course Hogan ended up with the win. And, let's not forget the 9-on-2 Uncensored match that Hogan and Savage won. Hogan was AWFUL against these two. Just brutal. Jason

D'Lo never got the luck on Armageddon Heats, did he? Jason

ISportsFan: 1) Yes, against the "War on Drugs" in its current form, but I will not support legalization 2) Not at all, unless it's absolutely necessary 3) Yes 4) Yes, give them the same rights as marriage but no title of "married" 5) Yes, for the most part 6) Yes 7) Yes to separation, no to getting rid of God. The Constitution uses God and gives freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. If you don't believe in God, live with the fact that the country you live in does. Jason, a (2.32, 2.83) on the compass and will be a registered Republican when I go home and register but will not tow the party line in elections.

Nope. Jason

Done so Money Inc. can keep the titles while having a face win the match. Done so Hogan didn't lose the match "for real" before his title win later in the night. You already explained VII against Virgil. The other two I have no idea. Jason

I voted yes, mainly because there are tons of smart people here (albeit some might lack common sense, but they're still smart), and "academic" websites usually take 24 hours to help. We have enough people here to help that it might be very helpful to people. Jason

That immediately reminds me of HHH vs. TAKA. That was a hell of a match. That match was in 2000, when Russo was in WCW (or was gone from WCW before he came back, can't remember which). But I do agree that Russo's midcarders were at least given direction, which is pretty much the only good thing I'll ever say about him. Jason
