I found it to be entertaining. I found Hulkster and Knobbs scheming in the weight room and the part when Hogan picked up his cat and started talking trash into the camera both very funny.

I found the episode pretty funny. So far this season I've liked every episode except one. I think I'm in the minority.

Just found out today that Dusty's real name is Johnnie. The Marlins just drafted 5 pitchers in the first round as well. Dusty mananging the team is probably the worst thing I can think of.

My crazy solution to fix the 2005 Marlins...get ready for it. Fire Jack McKeon. Yes, I know he's practically a legend now and the face of the Marlins' franchise (which is sad), but apparently his act is wearing thin on the players. Even Peter Gammons has said that may be one of the Marlins main problems. Worked for them two years ago and the Astros last year... I think it can work. The talent is there but it's not really showing.

It was two years and one week ago that I came up with this. I'm going to do it again. They have played like total shit the first half getting absolutely nothing from Mike Lowell, Juan Pierre, Al Leiter, Josh Beckett, etc, etc. but they are still 4 games over .500 (5 if tonight's lead holds). Marlins will pull it together and do no worse than the NLCS. I'll still be around to be ripped on if (when?) it doesn't happen. And looking back, Al made some pretty bad comments a few years ago about the Marlins... guess you're not always right.

Only team that can contend with the Nationals is the Braves? C'mon, Al. Get your head out of the statbook and realize that the Marlins have been playing WAY below their potential. Yes, their peripherals from the first half are terrible, but they are most certainly capable of playing much better. Not saying they are going to charge back and take the division (although I wouldn't be surprised). But to dismiss them altogether is just foolish.

The Cubs have apparently sent Corey Patterson to AAA.

I think they learned their lesson from last year. At least people know who Michael Smith is and that he is good on TV. Although if Jackie McMullen (I think that's it) shows up again, then I couldn't be more wrong.
