At about this point, I was expecting significant things to go wrong, like the strippers you brought over overdosed on cocaine and there is a dead body buried in your backyard...or you had a party and drunk girls threw up everywhere. SOMETHING. Instead the wine cork broke, you stubbed your toe, and broke a can opener. Keep on truckin'.

Is there more than 10 people who actually know what the hell this is all about?
-
Not even the camera sinking from widescreen to a full screen ratio when Beatrix was buried alive...presumably to impress the condition of being trapped upon the audience They were there. I agree, not as many. But who cares, the plot was way better. Isn't that more important?

Al, you are a lucky man, because you'll most likely be able to watch all 3 games. I'll only be able to watch Thursdays game on ESPN. I'm glad Dontrelle is on the mound tomorrow, because I think if anyone can break the slump it's him. We'll see.

Keep dreaming, dude. No mods are going to delete that thread, on account of its greatness at your sheer and total embarrassment.

I think you picked a very bad example. I would not hesitate to call Curb Your Enthusiasm a series. Each series except for the first has had a plot that begins in the first episode and ends in the last (Season 2 - pitching TV series to the networks, Season 3- The Restaraunt, Season 4- Producers). I know this is a thread about the Simpsons, but I just thought I'd point out what (I think) is an error.

I caught this while waiting for the Sopranos. I never really watch the Simpsons anymore, except for syndication, so I had thought it was a repeat. It certainly was a bad episode.

Actually, Mole, I think you were correct in using domestic. It's what we post a thread about every week and discuss...not worldwide numbers.

Anybody else think that Tony spent a crazy amount of time with his father's mistress? That was insane.
-
Yeah, Bill knew the right thing to do. He's not the kind of man to take the bitch way out.
-
When I get that, I just hit the refresh button 4-5 times in a row very fast and it always opens up. Always.

What a way to lose. Marlins get swept by the Braves...Miguel Cabrera lost a fly ball in the sun and Andruw Jones just got in under the tag. Damn.
-
Sorry, must have missed the sarcasm.
-
How can you say that someone is on pace for the greatest offensive season in ML history? Do you realize how crazy a statement that is?
-
OOOOOH sorry chief, two run pinch hit HR for Ramon Casto! Yes! First regular season jump-out-of-my-chair-and-scream this season.
-
What niche is that...awesomeness?
-
Fox gets the K. Still need to wake up the offense. Wasted Luis Castillo's lead off triple last inning.
-
Well, Brad Penny was in a groove in Atlanta, but he gave up a 2 out HR to Andruw Jones and things just went downhill from there. Currently 2-0 Braves with the bases loaded. Pitching change now. Hopefully Chad Fox can get out of this or the sweep is all but complete.
-
Hang on....bwahahahahaha. Are you serious? I'm sorry, but you just wait. By the end of the year, you'll be overcome with a sinking feeling whenever Braden Looper enters a game. Trust me, I know all too well.

Good thing about TBS: Can watch the Marlins whenever they play the Braves. Bad thing about TBS: The past two games. The Marlins haven't looked good, but hell, you can't win them all. Still have the best record in the majors, but it would have been nice to send a message to the Braves in this series. Hopefully tomorrow they can salvage a win.

That's not his movie. It's directed by an Asian film director and is produced by the same people as Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, so I'm not exactly sure how it's Quentin Tarantino Presents. What it definitely isn't is the 5th film by Quentin Tarantino.

I think this thread should stay open all year, and if (when?) the Red Sox (or anyone else) beats the Yankees in the playoffs, it can serve as the OAO Anglesault suicide thread, and great joy will be had by all.

I think it's the exact opposite, and if you didn't see that coming, you're crazy. I knew that was what was going to happen to Bill as soon as he described Pei Mei to her by the fire, and I would have been upset if something else happened. It tied the story together perfect, and I can see how you wouldn't have liked it if you wanted crazy gore violence like V1

Put together with Volume 1, I'm struggling to come up with a film I like as much. I think it's a perfect movie, and in the end will be remembered as Quentin Tarantino's best film, not Pulp Fiction.
