I don't know how to take that, I don't know who Alan Cumming is or what he looks like.

For some reason, I imagined you looking much cooler. Come on Mik, when Kotz is laying insults on you... Which is why I just ignored it... Anyways that's a decent picture, except for the audio tour crap hanging out of my ear, but that's why I have the goofy expression on. So whatever.

Question is simple enough... Here is mine: Gondolas in Venice

It's digital.

Ouch. Beckett for Cy Young!

I'd just like to say that no matter what happened in this offseason, after one week of regular season play, Pudge would be on the team with the best record in baseball (Marlins and Tigers both 5-1). Now, of course, his former team will keep winning and his current will not, but as of right now...not so bad.

I meant for the rest of the season. They could win as many series as they want, but until they actually produce some Ws against the Marlins, they are gonna have it in the back of their head that they can't beat them...and lately they can't.

Well, I just returned from Easter weekend at my parents house, which is why I wasn't able to comment on the matter beforehand, but I'm sorry to Al and pinjockey and all the other poor Phillies fans, because the Marlins owned them this weekend. Beckett was damn near unhittable today (literally) and Choi and Cabrera are swatting homeruns like flies. It's beautiful right now. It's also nice to see Benitez way out in front of everyone else with 5/5 save conversions. The Phillies might beat everyone else, but they still can't touch the Marlins.

Wow, I never saw that Making the Band skit before, but damn that was funny. Who are the 5 best rappers alive...think about it. Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, and Dylan. I spit hot fire.

So... I graduate from Cornell in less than two months and I'm gonna want to be changing names... Any ideas?

That was certainly interesting.

7.2 IP, 8 K shutout for D-Train. Benitez picks up his 2nd save...3-0 Marlins.

I love to watch him too, except it was a lot harder in the second half of last year. That being said, he looks good tonight. He's given up a few hits, but I don't think he's gonna surrender much.

Mike Lowell just homered on the 11th pitch of his at bat to give the Marlins a 1-0 lead on the Expos.
-
I'm really hoping the Phils don't win tonight. I had them picked today in my MLB.com survivor and then switched to the Cubs. Now I lost...I will win that $100 mlb.com gift certificate yet!

I'm not liking the Cubs game, because I doubled up on Cubs for the free fantasy games on MLB.com. I have Derek Lee in beat the streak and the Cubs over the Reds in MLB survivor, and I don't like what's been going on so far.

I like that Flik, why should Dr. Tom be the only one? I think I'm gonna do that, and if I'm still posting here in 5 years (god help me if I am), it will be true.

If it helps at all, I'll be moving to North Carolina to start my PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry at UNC - Chapel Hill. I was thinking of names having to do with UNC but they all sound terrible in my head. I like Hoff's really simple idea of just Mik, but I'll think about it some more.

I thought South Park was hilarious tonight. When the kids first went to Chef's and they were telling him how they got served, I thought it was going to be a misunderstanding where Chef thought one thing and the kids meant another. The fact that the parents and chef were actually talking about being served in the dancing context as well was hilarious. Not to mention any episode that features Butters is pretty damn funny. I can't believe they parodied You Got Served. And I still can't believe Wayne Brady did that skit on Chapelle Show...Hilarious.

They have them for every month. Some of them are really good. One of my favorites... June 5 -- Jason Giambi, his weight down to 111 pounds, is pulled from the Yankees starting lineup because he no longer has the strength to hold up his bat. Giambi denies ever using steroids. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=gallo/april

I hate to say this, but if Nicole Kidman got in shape...she kinda looks like Samus. *ducks things being thrown at me*
