Eh, I picked up the Matrix for 15.99. Figured I might as well complete the Trilogy, and at least the final fight scene is pretty decent. "Why, why do you keep getting up?"

To go along with that post, this spring training had the highest attendance since 1994. Perhaps last years postseason brought baseball back. Hoorah!

Armando Benitez is already my new favorite player! Marlins win DESPITE him giving up a 9th inning HR to Jose Vidro and double to Carl Everett. Oh man, here's hoping the staff can throw a lot of complete games.
-
Marlins bullpen already blew their first lead of the season. Beckett was outstanding today, 7 IP, 9 K, 4 Hits and 1 earned. But Fox gave up a run in the 8th to tie the game at 2. Here's hoping the Marlins can pull it out. On the plus side, Choi hit a 2 run HR. Maybe he'll be better off as Marlin than as a Cub.

Corey Patterson trying to repeat last years 2 HR 7 RBI opening day with a HR in the second AB of the game.

Crucifiction is on good Friday, resurrection is on Sunday. So, technically the whole movie is.

Yeah, next weekend is Easter. It's the weekend the movie is about. Who knows.

I would just like to let it be known that I graduate from Cornell in May, and come August will be just a normal Tarheel at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill...taking away many of the insults I get. I treat everything like real life, because that's the only way to live. I like what you said about me IDRM. Banky, keep reaching for the stars toughguy.

While I did not run into Maurizio C or see Incandenza's girlfriend, I had an awesome fucking time. I recommend everyone going at one point in their life. Interesting fact: Mt. Vesuvius is waaaay statistically overdue to erupt again, and the streets are so narrow and the area so packed that the disaster will probably equal or surpass the last time Vesuvius went off. Our tour guide was telling us that they had a drill last year and it went so poorly that things aren't looking good if it decides to go off for real. Let's hope it gives a ton of advance warning. And I snuck 5 pictures of the Sistine Chapel. Click the sig if you want to see.

I disagree. I think it was one of the five worst movies I've seen in the theater my entire life. Some of the jokes were alright, but the action was blah and the story was just lacking. Add in the fact it was so damn long and I wanted to jab my eyes out. I was checking my watch every 5 minutes by the end. Leaving the theater I heard my fair share of worst movie ever comments as well.

how old are you?

It was a good movie, in my opinion. Considering I saw it back to back with the boring piece of bland trash that was Hellboy, it made the movie look even better.

Take 7 kids from Columbine, stand em all in a line. Add an AK-47, a mac and a nine. Now you got a whole school of bullies shot up at one time It was something like that, from the Marshall Mathers CD.

Awesome preview, Al. For reasons I can't quite put my finger on (cough), I like this one better though... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/spring2004/c...yson&id=1771198 All favoritism to my favorite team aside, great job. You know more about baseball than I ever will.

I was walking home from class and some guys were standing on a porch offering free beer to anyone who walked by. 3 hours and 12 cups of beer later... Happy St. Patrick's Day. This is awesome. And the best part is, I leave for Italy tomorrow for 12 days. See you in two weeks.

Running Man Special Edition! Got it and already watched it. Great movie with cheesy lines by Arnold and even cheesier Jesse Ventura performance. Captain Freedom!

For those who don't know, Bill Simmons does running diaries on a lot of the big events in sports (If ESPN doesn't send him to them). Well, he did one on WM XX and here it is... http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=simmons/040315 Some of you might not like what he says, especially about Eddy.

I think you missed the point. He likes wrestling. I think you just have your verbatim response ready to use at all occasions. It's a shame it doesn't apply here. He's a wrestling fan.

Yeah, obviously. How can he make such a glaring oversight? His entire article now means absolutely nothing and his opinion completely invalid. You're stretching, chief.
