Are we still calling the Marlins a terrible franchise that was going to firesale the entire team again? They've done ALL that they could to bring back nearly the entire team, including making a good enough offer to Pudge. I wonder what Choken One has to say, since he was claiming firesale since before they even won the series.

ESPN is reporting that the Marlins and Pudge are so far apart on a deal they may not talk again before the deadline to sign him. I love Pudge for what he did, but he's being a dick. The Marlins offered him a good faith multi-year offer to the best of what they have. His reponse... "Not only will he not take a hometown discount, but he will not accept anything less than a raise from last years $10 million salary. Rodriguez and Boras are looking for no less than a 5 year deal worth no less than $10 million a year." Hello? That's insanity. Scott Boras is definitely in his ear, IMO. He's not gonna get that from but a handful of teams, and I don't think any of them are interested. This sucks.

Especially Order of the Phoenix. I love the books. Teaser looks amazing. I can't wait. Looks like it will blow the first two movies out of the water. Unfortunately, I read on IMDB that due to cutting down the books, Lucius Malfoy might get cut out of future movies, as he's already not in this one. Well, it premiers tonight. The pilot is on at 8 PM, while another episode is on at 8:30 opposite Simple Life. I'll watch the Pilot, watch Simple Life, and we are digitally recording the second episode, so I'll check that out at 9. I think it looks funny. Tracy is funny and the kid looks like he'll be funny for at least a little while before he gets annoying.

They don't give a shit. It seems like they realize they aren't going to get in trouble no matter what they do, so they are just gonna fuck with everyone. My girlfriend is an animal science major and works with cows, and she says that all the dairy stuff that they had to do is really old fashioned and not really done anymore. So, she thinks it's fake. I think it could just be the big difference between farms in NY and Arkansas. Either way, the show is pretty funny. I enjoyed it. And I agree...don't ever diss MXC. Ever.

I found it to be pretty entertaining. The previews of all the upcoming shows actually looked pretty funny. I'll be watching.

It's decent. Tracy trying to bail his son out because he's only working with "half a box" was pretty funny, and some of the other things got a chuckle out of me. Pretty good for a pilot.

Wow, not only did I make the Hall of Suck, but I'm the opposite of all those who made the Hall of Rock. Cool. In some ways that makes me rock quite a bit.

I read that Ali G is getting a second season, but it's not coming back for a little bit. And I think CYE will indeed return as well.

Well, last I heard no. Pudge wanted a high figure and the Marlins had a 2 year, 15 million dollar offer. However, after getting rid of Derek Lee, they've upped the offer to 2 years, 20 million. I think if Pudge really wanted to stay, he'd do it for 2 years at 10 mil a piece. But who knows what his thought process is.
